Random fact: my chemistry teacher is the manager of the biggest black metal french label 😂 (Les Acteurs de L'ombre Production) they have a band that is becoming big in France: Regarde les Hommes Tomber
Dude I still listen to that start to finish any time I go on a road trip. The first 3 songs.. getting Peter to sing. Joey dino matt.. in my mind it's the best album ever. Roadrunner took "supergroup" to another level. I gotta watch it again for the 50th time. In the fire is still my fav song... the dagger 2nd... I can't believe they sat on this idea. In my mind it's the best album ever no one will ever change my mind
Thank you for giving credit where credit is due. Aww this is still my fav album. Road runner united showed what ALL can be done. Joey dino Matt the whole crew.. with everyone.. such a wasted potential.. In the fire is still my fav song to this day. It's the prefect riff solo vocal (clean/ dirty) it's prefect
Kevin Paradis and Mike Smith definitely stand out like a sore thumb in this video, Kevin due to his unmatched footspeed when it comes to long stamina runs on single strokes at 260-280BPM and Mike Smith because of the sheer volume in his blasts, you could hear that fuckin' snare from the next neighborhood once he starts blastin'
drummers never cease to amaze me. their stamina, focus and dexterity is incredible to watch. the first guy is total ZEN in what he is doing. each hand and each foot doing different things at once and to be so casual and calm about it!?
Good stuff. If you’re making a part 3 I have a suggestion - Fotis Benardo from SepticFlesh, with the ending of “A Great Mass of Death” as the example. Cheers and thanks for the content!
Hahah nice. Hopefully it blows up like the other one did. Any of Beneath the Massacre's drummers belong on a future list. Also John Merryman of Cephalic Carnage.
@@juri_xiii9977 He is insanely fast but he's also insanely technical as well. Listen to his work in the band IN BATTLE: WELCOME TO THE BATTLEFIELD. Killer BDM! 🤘🏼
Alex of Despised Icon is one of the nicest fuckin guys ive ever met. I got kicked out of a Suicide Silence show during the opening band due mixing it up with some drunk dickhead. But i ended up getting to kick it with Alex and Mitch and eat wings and drink beer. So it worked out. Lol
Sometimes it works out for the best lol... I gotta say it's weird to even have conflict at a metal show. I can count on two hands how many fights I've seen in over thirty years of playing/attending every manner of live metal event. Majority of those exceedingly rare fights were actually between bandmates on tour.
@@mr.martyr8573 I mean, the pit is the pit, but it all gets left there. I'm familiar with that though lol, same for the punk scene mostly. I never gaf about genres personally, tbh, wildest brawls I've ever seen were at pop "country" events lol. Nobody is ready for a fight like a redneck hopped up on alcohol and tractor rap.
the rings of saturn shit was insane i've been playing for 15 years but nothing like that i'll jam some old DOWN or some double base but these guys are possessed
This list would obviously be endless. But I’d have to say Chason westmorland and Adam Jarvis are one of the hardest hitting and precise blasters in death metal.
I need to recruit Mike Smith. He knows. All but one of my drummers couldn't do a blast beat without freaking microphone on the snare. And the one that could was all power and speed but could barely keep a tempo. It was either AcDc or Canibal Corpse with that guy.
I got to see Mr. Paradis live with Ne Obliviscaris and he’s a machine. Some of my favorite blasts come from 1349’s first album, Liberation, with Frost. Especially on Satanic Propoganda… a human should not move that fast.
When I hear this kinda music it reminds me of a funny car. In one second, you are going over 100 miles per hour. No curves, no shacaine... just straight ahead. I have friends that love it. I prefer what I grew up with. To each their own. Enjoy.
So glad to see Mike Smith on this list, absolutely crushing drummer.
fucking beast
The og

And your english teacher must be pround of you as well ☺️
@@florianguglielmi6741 thx :)
I really doubt this is bigger than Osmose productions
I remember that RoadRunner United Anniversary Project and the accompanying DVD :) Some great songs on there!

So glad you included Lord Marco!
Nils Dominator of course.
Dude krimh is sick
That left handed gravity blast tho
roadrunner united was such an amazing thing to happen. we need more of that shit now!
Mike smith is a BEAST
I can’t say how pleased I am to see you have Mike and mention him being the innovator of essentially all of this
2:44
Man, that is f*cking insane!
Oooooooh yeah that's the good stuff. Chef kiss
2:50 best drummer 🔥 I watched his video so many times as to previously watch this current video
I remember when Lord Marco & I were on the old MAMB& the NileMB's way, fucking way back in the day!! Hails! Bro!
Nice too see a Canadian band such as Cryptopsy make the list. Very nice....
Drone Corpse Aviator by Archspire has some good blasts
Lordmarco how df. Tooooooo clean

Hail to king Mike Blastbeat Smith !

I can't believe it. One of the lists where I actually agree with 5/6 of the choices.
Kevin Paradis is one of today's greatest
100% He kills!
Him and Ken Bedene! 🤌🤌
brutal and educational. the news reel at the bottom is killing it
Phenomenal list !! Let’s see if someday the great Tony Laureano will feature here 😊
KRIMH is a beast!
Just the drummers from beneath the massacre and Origin
Good stuff. If you’re making a part 3 I have a suggestion - Fotis Benardo from SepticFlesh, with the ending of “A Great Mass of Death” as the example. Cheers and thanks for the content!
So much inspiration here. This is why my neighborhood hate me. Blast beats for dinner.
Great list. But have we forgotten about “The Berzerker? From AUS?
How the hell can these people gravity blast that fast!? I AM SPEECHLESS!!!
Is Malodorous- Eyes of Abomination in any top? If not should xD
Can't fool me, Lord marco is a cyborg. Ring of saturn is great but his work in Sonivinos is amazing 🤘🏻🤯🤘🏻
Fkn insane that these people can play that fast
My fav blastbeats gotta be from The Divine Land by Keep of Kalessin. Vyl is a monster.
If you do this again, if you haven’t already do the dude from ingested.
Blast beats, breeees and breakdowns ❤️
Hahah nice. Hopefully it blows up like the other one did.
Any of Beneath the Massacre's drummers belong on a future list. Also John Merryman of Cephalic Carnage.
Mike smith is a fucking machine.
Bisinglaaahh bongokkkk... 😂😂😂😂😂
This video kicked me in the balls and then invited me out to dinner. I said yes.
This is not human!
Cant forget about Ken Bedene of Aborted! Hes so fast, yet makes it look so effortless! He's definitely one of the best active drummers! 🤌
No blast beat list is complete without Nils "Dominator" Fjellström. Gnawing the Bones is one of his best 🤘🏼
He's just inhumanly FAST.. I still like Matte Modin more.

Props for using JfaC's Entombment of the Machine's BREEE as cut material
Flo Mounier HyperBlasting will always be just crazy to hear man
Flo Mounier isn't a song by crytopsy. He's the drummer but that may have been a mistake in editing which happens
drums goes tttrrrrrrrrrrrrr
In the next video: Dark Funeral - Vobiscum Satanas with Nils "dominator Fjellström!
Paediatrician-Monstra Duplicia playtrought. You're welcome 😊
Brutalidad pura de estos señores!
Blastbeats without Stormblast from Infernal War??
I recommend "Into dead soil" video.
Have you seen Oki Fadhlan - Jasad?
Jamie St. Merat of Ulcerate would like a word.
Austin archey ?
Flo is the GOAT of extreme metal drumming
MIKE FUCKING SMITH!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad Flo was on the list
Inferno Conquers All \m/
Can we get Lord Marco's real playing here? The quantizing ruins everything
George Kollias himself? Pete Sandoval? Paul Mazurkiewic's piece from "Post Mortal Ej.." at 02-00 )))
The best way to do fast drumming is blast beats
Mike Smith created a blast beat i.e. the Hammer blast. He did not create the blast beat and he's not the only hard hitter. He is great though. 🤘
Yeah I thought the same when that was mentioned.
subbed
Funny that blastbeats and swivel techniques didn't even exist when I started listening to metal 35 years ago.
John Longstreth of Origin etc?
Mike Smith is the king of blasting
Fun fact
Eating Chinese food makes my diarrhea blast beats come out extra slappy
You can’t talk about blast beat without Max Kolesne from Krisiun.
Max is weak live
@@NAT-turners-Revengepoor Max
Mike Smith is Supreme Master.
I'm double dipping on this. Mike Smith is the G on here. Krimh is tasty and Marco is fastest. Flo is Flo. Too much good gnarly drummers
ok where's Braindrill? any album. it's some of the fastest gravity blast i've heard!
Brain Drill’s OG Drummer is already on the list lol
oh i didn't knew that. what is his name?@@andrewnoce9538

Nils “Dominator” is the Best…. The Father of all
So... where's part one?
What is the last song
It was an intro by inferno behemoth. Not a track
I got to see Mr. Paradis live with Ne Obliviscaris and he’s a machine.
Some of my favorite blasts come from 1349’s first album, Liberation, with Frost. Especially on Satanic Propoganda… a human should not move that fast.
Vital remains on dechristianize
Mike Smith is faster than a AK47
Lutfi IHO Humiliation - paradigma please🙏🤘
We're never forgetting Mike Smith.
Gotta throw in some Trey Williams - Dying Fetus - Grotesque impalement or Your Treachery Will Die With You
John Longstreth?

Dirk Verbeuren should be at the top of this list.
i think alexgrind is one of the most tense drummer i've ever seen
and now el estepario is probably gonna do all of these with one hand
Without Danny Walker, Paweł "Pavulon” Jaroszewicz and Witold "Vitek" Kiełtyka this list is not completed
Lord Marco the best
