So proud of all 80+ episodes of The Cheap Life we managed to shoot over a couple of years, but this one - one of the last, shot at my parent's house in Ohio - is the most memorable for me. Thanks to all the tremendously talented folks who worked so hard to make the show.

Really enjoyed the change in the style of video. I had stopped watching every episode of the old ones because they lost their charm after a while. This, this was great. I'm not trying to hate on the old ones, as they are what pulled me in, the formula must have worn on me though.

Jeff, you should save that water from rinsing the peppers and from boiling the eggs. It's great for watering your plants. And the egg shells and pepper scraps belong in your compost.
Seeds too. Unless you want to put them out for the birds. Or for next season's crop. However, I'll save you the trouble of planting the egg shells. Takes FOREVER to get chickens.

Great video! My hubby would love those stuffed jalapenos and they look easy. My deviled eggs have a lot more ingredients, but they are delish!

Good video. Like the new style much better than the old one. It was a bit too much for me.
Other good snacks are hummus, vegetable sticks (like carrots, cucumber ...), sweet potato fries...
However, your swedish meatballs I have never eaten. And I live in Sweden. These meatballs I usually do
Recipes for 10 people
800 gram of beef mince
800 g pork and beef mince
2 dl creamy milk (1½ dl milk, ½ dl cream)
2 dl breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1 dl water
4 medium cooked potatoes
2 large yellow onions
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp anchovy broth
4 tsp veal stock
2 tsp Kikkoman soy sauce
butter for frying
salt and pepper
Proceed as follows:
Stir together the creamy milk, breadcrumbs, eggs and water into a loose batter let swell. Mash the potatoes finely using a fork. Peel the onions, grate one and finely chop and fry the other in butter until golden brown. Mix together all ingredients quickly to a smooth batter. Add salt and pepper. Fry in butter.

How about doing a show on your local public library? A relative was recently laid off and spent about 5 months unemployed before finding a new job. He was at the local library checking out books to read about looking for a new job and checking out movies because he had to cancel his cable. He even took a free language course!
