Being a cheapscate did me a lot of good. When I lost my job last year, I had quite a bit of money in the bank to live on for awhile. Of course, now I'm living cheaper than ever out of necessity! Thanks for the great advice, Jeff.

I really enjoyed "How to Retire the Cheapskate Way" - especially the stories from regular working class people. It was after reading this book (and taking steps to live more frugally and happily) that I stopped worrying so much about the future and enjoyed the present a lot more (but still I still save and reasonably plan - which is smart, not obsessive).

Really like this series and seeing suggestions. For saving on cosmetics: use your pencil eyeliner instead of spending on another eye shadow when darkening above the actual eye. Also, use concealer all around the eye instead of buying highlighter and then apply eyeshadow. These suggestions will save several dollars.

Thank you. I think being a cheese cheapskate has save somebody's life. That you have the less you have to worry about it were you have the less stress in your life prone you are to a heart attack. Course that's just my opinion. Doesn't have to be true for everybody

I like the video where you answer questions more than than the regular video where you try to get your message in a "funny" way. you said to comment so there goes my two cents worth.

I am a cheapskate but have been learning even more from you. quick showers note on the fridge to turn off light in the house. reuse items, like wrapping xmas presents with comics from the Sunday papers, or recycle them, also use for art projects.
