Thanks for the guide. So I am doing my rotation correctly and I can only explain my lack of damage (judged by my position on the aggro list) that I'm not using any buffs (food, potion) as most fights I do right now are unsynced and I want to save those for fights that actually require these buffs for a fast clear. I can think of one reason to use triple Enshroud and it is indeed very much fight specific. That's when the enemy has a phase transition where it doesn't take any damage and getting it to that point is not slower when I don't use Enshroud. This happened only in unsynced fights so far, for example Castrum Marinum Extreme. It uses it's spinning move when it's close to death and can't get below .1% until it finishes. I didn't use my second Enshroud and after the cutscene/phase transition could Enshroud three times in a row, which helped with skipping the Black Wolf phase, although it's more efficient to withhold one Enshroud until the enemy is at around 15% to 20% to beat it up faster while it's casting to get into the Black Wolf phase.
Just found this guide and i gotta say, really informative! love it! Just wanna say...when i first got my hand son reaper, loved it to bits. Every aspect of from simplicity to aesthetics! Though..it does come with a couple complaints that I think would help the job be a little smoother. Reducing the CD on gluttony by 5 seconds and letting harpe generate 10 soul gauge...I can count so many fights in savage that I wish i not drift gluttony as much or for being behind on soul gauge from needing to step away from the boss and using harpe. From another point of view, whats your peoples take on that idea?
I think your suggestions are very QoL and wouldn't effect the overall balance of the job, so I highly agree with them! It would make the job feel a lot more seamless to play when planning cooldowns and when you have to disengage
I like the aesthetic to a degree, the edgyness is cool. But I cant stand the scythe, would of preferred dual wielding mini scythes instead, which could open up dual wielding axe glamours. And nothing would be cooler then going demon mode with 2 axes! :D
Alot of your glams are the Nier stuff and They look soo good!!! also the horns fit perfectly aswell! 10/10 Best Dragon girl waifu! also Thank you for this video, ive had to take up Reaper as my secondary class for my FC static because they got too many Tanks so i cant be my GNB main ;-; This video helped me learn alot about reaper and tips and tricks already!

Thank you! The glam I'm using is the full set of maiming gear from the Nier raid "The Tower at Paradigms Breach", its called the Type 55 armor of maiming, took me more runs then I'm willing to admit...
just wondering, it looks like the double enshroud re-opener you do without HM is the same as the one on the balance where they do 2 SoDs during the first enshroud while weaving pot and AC so that you can enshroud again right away, but it looks like you drift gluttony a lot in the footage. its back up around when you’re doing the second enshroud. was this just because you were getting footage of the reopener? thanks!
Good question and sorry for the confusion! This is because when I showed the "No Harvest Moon" re-opener it was opened with the Early Gluttony opener, this was to simple save me from having to make multiple recordings, so if you do the early enshroud opener, this shouldn't be an issue. Hope that clears it up and if you have further questions don't hestitate to ask!
I find that unless your in organized content the early gluttony opener and overall rotation is smoother and lines up better. 100% of the time pugs or duty finder gross do. Not. Properly raid buff so you almost always end up losing a full gluttony and most of the time the first deployed gluttony isn't even great cuz ppl don't buff right

Hi im new, i see all the double enshroud rotations but how do I GET to double enshroud? will it just occur naturally as I use my early gluttony opener or is there a special way to get resources for double enshroud? just learning reaper.
The part of this class I can't understand is the filler phase between opener odd and even minute. I feel like I am going into odd and even too fast. And no guide or video has yet to explain this. Balance just gives you a picture saying do this number of gcds and ogcd which is very unhelpful.
After double shroud re-opener do you work on getting to the point of doing it again? or do you go back to doing the early shroud opener and then re opener
I keep deleting reaper because I find it boring, then going back to it because of its aesthetic, then getting bored and deleting it again, ad infinitum.
