Bro. We bought a 66 T bird center punched a tree. We spent a summer tearing it down and when done rented a pop up camper and towed it to South Dakota with it. Lol. That’s my pedigree.
Yeah I like the Packard thing. I frenched my merc taillights. Had 56 Buick sidetrim to put on and ended up sellin it. Keep in mind my stubborn ass waited 6 years to hear my flathead run. I did my time grubbing in the dirt of a garage. Lol
Great to see the van again. Do you have plans for any future content on it? Great video yet again from yourself on what is by far my favourite UA-cam channel 👌👌
Thanks dude! What do you wanna see in the van. I am open to ideas. I thought about doing one of the batter power station installs but my vanning plans didn’t happen this fall

I agree with you on touch screens in cars, I even hate using my phone for GPS so I’m still rocking an old Garmin dedicated GPS unit that just suction-cups to the windshield! 🤣
dude that is new oldschool lol. it really does feel crazy to me that some new cars have touchscreens to control stuff that people constantly need to mess with, or you have to scroll through screens to get to heater controls...there is just no way to operate these things without taking your eyes off the road
I think i would find a cheap console and mount the stereo on that and move it around on it . That would mak it stable and you would not have to tape it down , or mount with velcro and use velco to mount to all other dashes !
That right there would work in my 32 roadster. I do NOT want to put a stereo in that car, but some tunes while driving back roads would be nice. The GPS feature would be louder and larger than my phone, too.
I know your name from here man I didn’t know you had a 32 roadster. That’s rad. But thanks for your constant support on the channel. That’s exactly why I was excited to collaborate with this company. I had a 72 Jimmy full convertible roof from the windshield back fiberglass. Somebody had more times than I can count removed and put stereos in that thing which terrified me. Hey lemme ask you a question. That vid today, was that like a super sponsor thing? You make some $$ with it. So if cool!!! Can’t say it changed my life!! Hahaha
so people get a little weird when they see the paid promotion tag. youtube requires it "If you accepted anything of value from a third party to make your video, you must let us know. We’ll show viewers a message that tells them your video contains paid promotion. " so this company reached out and said would you be interested in reviewing one of these... i looked at it and thought, hell i have a factory radio delete truck, that might be a fast easy way to get tunes and gps and not modify the truck... so i said sure and they sent one over. No money exchanged, no promise of a good review the video was getting long.... so it all got cut out, i went through the stereos i installed in the 67 cadillac, the 74 blazer, the 73 van, the 54 chevy, the 65 c10... various ways of butchering them in or hiding them in the glove box. You may not need this thing... but it is the best option i can think of for that truck and there wasnt a single video on youtube about this as an option for a solution. And i had never heard of these things with built in speakers before they reached out I review tools all the time as independent videos or integrated into the videos, sometimes companies send stuff, but most of the time they are tools i buy. if its useful to me its probably useful to someone out there watching ... but people ONLY notice when there is the paid promotion tag.. noone has ever called the skidsteer videos or evolution saw videos an infomercial I understand the skepticism at "paid promotion" and maybe I should clarify in the videos ... this is too much of a response but I am working hard to build a channel and I care how people that take the time to watch and comment feel about what i am doing

I know some videos are not for some people, but if there is a tool or gadget that makes my life simpler or a job faster I talk about it- its interesting though it seems that people get bent out of shape if they see the "paid promotion" tag. For clarity, its a requirement by youtube if you receive anything in the video. I am not paid by this company at all, I did not promise any sort of favorable review, but they did ask if i was interested in reviewing the product, I said yea, they said we will send one, so I am required to put it in there. In the majority of my product videos I have paid full price for the tools, from the evolution saw to the mini skidsteer to the 4 post lift- all of them showing the tool and the use I have for it... and on one has ever complained that they are an infomercial... as soon as that tag shows up ... its inevitable Either way, this and the other things I talk about on the channel I consider useful and I think people are watching the channel that have similar projects so they might might too. I have installed many stereos in many of my classic cars and this is the fastest and least invasive solution I have found and I think that is gonna help someone out I also i often look to youtube for information before a purchase something,or trying to find a solution to a problem- there were no videos on anything like this as a solution for a classic car with no radio- until now- and this video may keep several classic dashboards from being butchered if you have no use for one maybe whatever I do next will be more entertaining to you - but genuinely thanks for watching and thanks for the support
