This is probably the only time ive ever actually liked the end credits of a game. Its just so perfect it makes me cry. From the music to the real battles, just 10/10 perfection. It really made me realise how much i love this game and this franchise, and how lucky i am to be born in this time, so i can witnesses this work of art.
Any pokemon game up to ultrasun and ultramoon could be a 10/10 for what concerns me, however Pokémon has needed to be on par with modern console games (and even better, actually), for a while. Sure Legends Arceus definitely looks like returning to the right path that was lost with Switch, but it still isn't that game that you can say, "it's a masterpiece of gaming". I know Pokémon has all the potential of it, but for now it looks like we'd be lucky if we get that kind of game in our era lol.

When it went to the desk I freaked out because I thought my game froze (because before v1.2 there were reports on some cartridges of oras freezing at the end of the game) and i was so confused. and then the symbol came on. and I just had my mouth open because i was so excited :)

Pokémon Sapphire was the first Pokémon game I ever owned, so Gen III, especially the Hoenn region, has had a very special place in my heart since I was about 11. When the remakes were announced, I was beside myself with excitement! It's been almost 8 years and I'm so dang happy about this.
The ending music is still 10/10 *cries. Even though original ending track was already excellent, this version is just as good as it combines the various town themes into a medley as a way to remind of you your travels. I wouldn't mind a reorchestrated version of the original ending music though.
I often defeat the pokemon league just so i can watch the credits and relive my journey. Some of the pokemon i had early on in the game is unfortunately no longer in my posession anymore and with over 400 hours of playtime it's a good way to remember them :*(
***** And yet the game flat out references things that has yet to occur. The museum: unfinished Unova boat. Battle Resort: the beginning project for the Battle Frontier. Looker: stuck in a region he has no memory of. The remakes kind of created a separate timeline from their original counterparts. It's no wonder legandary Pokemon from separate eras began to appear in Hoenn...
***** But the games clearly do not take place at the same time as X/Y. In OR/AS, Mr. Bonding had never existed until the player had unintentionally created him near the end of the game, when you discover his previous identity. In X/Y, Mr. Bonding appears very early on and has clearly been at his job for quite some time. That is why the Royal Unova and Battle Frontier are under construction, Steven has only begun to think about passing the torch as Champion to Wallace so he can travel the world, Looker has amnesia, the Match Call app in the PokéNav is only its in early stages, etc. X/Y has also been confirmed to take place at roughly the same time as B2/W2, not only due to references to every region by NPCs in the game, but also due to a Twitter post from Junichi Masuda's official page revealing the official order of the games. Also, Pokémon Origins is in the realm of its own canon. In no way is it is referenced in the game canon despite tying in Mega Evolution to Gen 1's plot. But I do agree a Pokémon Origins 2 would be amazing. There are actually two timelines to Pokémon now--the "normal" timeline and the Mega timeline: The "normal" timeline consists of official timeline, the one Zinnia references in OR/AS. FR/LG and R/S/E > HG/SS and D/P/Pt > B/W > B2/W2 and X/Y. Note that FR/LG and HG/SS replace R/G/B/Y and G/S/C in the timeline because the remakes update the originals to better fit the other games. The Mega timeline is exactly like the "normal" timeline, but with Mega Evolution existing. So far, it consists of: OR/AS > X/Y. Any games that include Mega Evolution in the future will be added to the Mega timeline. X/Y is included in the "normal" timeline because Junichi Masuda himself stated that the games take place at around the same time as B2/W2, so by assumption alone it can be said that there is an equivalent to the Kalos region in that timeline that does not have Mega Evolution.
***** I disagree with your 3rd paragraph. In the original G/S/C, Pokémon Eggs were also a "new discovery", as shown with Prof. Elm's reaction to receiving Mr. Pokémon's Egg. In HG/SS, this was amended by having Prof. Elm say that all Mr. Pokémon ever reports to him are Pokémon Eggs and acts unimpressed when he receives the same Egg he gets from G/S/C. Yet both G/S/C and HG/SS retain their place in the timeline. Despite the Fairy-type being a "new discovery" as well, I'd say the same logic applied to the Johto games also applies to the Hoenn games. Meaning they still retain their spot in both timelines.
***** True, but I'd assume Z or whatever the next Kalos game is won't make as big of a deal about the Fairy-type as X/Y did. Assuming they make an "amended" version (like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum), then it would just further solidify that OR/AS are still on their equivalent spots on both timelines and aren't that close to X/Y. I also doubt anyone working on the games would make such a bold statement only to retract it due to story elements they may have added afterwards. Games are developed months before they announce details about it. Who knows when they actually finished making the Delta Episode before they announced it? This isn't Dragon Ball Z. I personally think Game Freak is more professional than that to make plot holes like that without thinking that far ahead into development.
I love that it shows you your journey with various events as it goes through the map. It makes me tear up! They should keep that in every pokemon game xD
The postcredits is amazing. They give Brendan/May one final battle with you, just for the hell of it, and helps deepen the bond they never really had in the original. Now ORAS became a floodlight round since it's first release in 2014. 2nd night round after Platinum(were the first night round) to commermorate the 10th anniversary of Ruby and Sapphire
*Pokémon omega ruby and alpha sapphire came out like 7 years ago*
and i am still playing it
Yes and it came out on the same day that rs came out in Japan originally, which is one of the best things
Rs turned 12 when oras released so in October I can say oras is 7 then and Rs is now 19 on the same day
And soon it's gonna be 10 years old
12:10 . What is that song called? It's a lullaby but I don't know the name. If anyone sees this one day please let me know 🥲
It's called "The end"
@@VeiledArctic Thank you so much. I've been looking for months. Have a good day 🙏
When I beat the game, I went to go to the PC Box in the Pokemon Center to change out my pokemon and it mentioned that I've gotten Wallpaper for beating the game. Where do I find it. '-'
Rima Touyar Press on the box's name
The Delta Symbol will probably always be a jumpscare in my Alpha Sapphire play throughs I think I got ever so slightly jumpscared even tho I knew it was coming!
In my opinion this ending is superior to D&P
The fact that the credits show the exact Pokémon you used during your journey and the ost for all the towns are in one big medley make this the best Pokémon game ending in my opinion
Well of course bruh
Best ending ever 10/10
