The amout of legendaries you can catch is insane. Unova, Sinnoh, Johto, Gamefreak really went all out in this one.

The legendary pokemon are tied to special location that you need to get to via soaring with certain pokemon in your party
Pathless plain is usually just there and gives a member of the swords of justice depending on the day
Nameless cavern needs 3 pokemon with high friendship and give a member of the lake trio depending on the time of day
Fabled cave needs a lvl 100 pokemon in the party and gives the box art legend of a gen 5 game depending on your version
Trackless forest gives the legendary dogs depending on the day and needs hooh or lugia in the party in order to appear (hooh and lugia are available at sea mauville after getting their bell (i dont remember how you get that)
Cresselia appears on crescent isle, an island that randomly replaces the daily mirage spot
Kyruem is found in the Gnarled den which can only be found if reshiram and zekrom are in the party
Dialga / Palkia are in a rift in the sky which appears when all of the lake trio are in the party. Giratina can also be found here when dialga and palkia are in the party
Thunderus / Tornadus are in a thunder cloud above fortree city when castform is in the party, landorus is found here when tornadus and thunderus are in the party
Heatran doesnt need eon flute, its just in the scorched slab
The regis are available but they are such a pain to explain go look it up on bulbapedia or something (you can get all 4 of them)
The other lati is obtainable if you have the eon ticket event item
If you killed your box art legend you can rematch it
Is that everything? I think thats everything
Note: If you couldnt get a legendary pokemon here, itll be in xy instead, xy and oras have every legendary in gen 6 available
Pathless plain shows up similarly to how nameless cavern shows up. But, instead of max friendship, you need 3 with max EVs.
You can even rematch deoxys if you killed him, which is pretty cool imo because he is standing there as a triangle

This remake was made with love. It may have become a meme with the 7.5/10 too much water but the fact that they used the XY base and slap it on the game and even added more content vs the original (ie Delta Episode of getting Deoxys) is just an absolute tribute. Us being able to go up space is like an answer to that rumors we heard as children of being able to go up in the Mossdeep Space Center on certain days. And even being able to own both bikes! And the secret tree accessibility online.
This makes me sad because the DP remakes werent made with love but rather with just cash grab.

@TerraQuake1 ILCA should not have handled the game imo. The only thing we got are free Shaymin and Mew. But i think its still bad considering the hitboxes of the characters make the overworld untolerable. 😭
Ironically enough the concept art for BDSP was the remakes we wanted but didn’t get

The bdsp situation is really unfortunate, but at least they came along with legends arceus, which is a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

ORAS was the peak of Pokémon imo. It’s been downhill since then. Gen 7 wasn’t bad but it felt off. Then Gen 8 was just a massive nosedive. Gen 9 is a lot better than Gen 8 but it’s still got some massive issues (specifically performance-why does this game that looks like it’s from 2005 run this poorly????).
I couldn’t agree more. You’d think with all the money that Pokemon has brought in throughout the years, they’d be able to produce high quality games 🤷🏻♀️
Gen 3 to 5 were peak. After that it's only been money making idea from gamefreak.

Gen 7 is underrated imo. Too much dialogue and cutscenes obv, but it has a LOT more challenge than anything in gen 6, removes HMs, and has actually some cool mechanics imo (every wild pokemon can be a challenge if it calls for help, route trainers are all strong, etc.)
I've been watching your channel for a while, when you started the "Post Game" series and after checking your channel, for the amount of time you produce content and for the quality of it you deserved way more subs mate.

I remember catching all the legendary pokemon, beating all contests ranks, and playing the delta episode. I was so hooked on pokemon at the time and was on the edge of my seat, waiting for whatever game was next, soo many memories

I really reccomend you rematch all the regular trainers in the AreaNav. They have diverse teams including Nat Dex mons and when you beat them, they’re ready to rematch in about 15 minutes. It’s some of the funnest level grinding in the series.
Honestly there is more that you can do....

Erico with the New Mauville quest, and knowing a lot more about Prof. Cozmo and his fsther, also catching Spiritomb in where the ship sink in rout 118

Alana in Mauville city in one of the towers
Vito and Leto in 5th floor of lilycove shop
Wallace with Lisia after you defeat for 2nd time Lisia in Master Rank
Trying to collect all ribbons, tms and mega stones
Trying to get platinum rank in secret bases and access all the secret items
And winning all 5 trophies in the resort
In my opinion ORAS has the greatest post game of all time, the delta episode was INSANELY COOL and very fun, it allows you to catch a once Mythical in Deoxys, allows you to catch almost every legendary and every legendary at the time if you had both copies, the battle resort was cool and the shiny hunting if you count that as post game like me it’s also insane cuz you get access to so many Pokémon post game

Even tho I'm a Genwunner, Omega Ruby is my favorite Pokémon Game of all time. The post game and the opportunity to find all these legendary Pokémon was sooooo good. And that's also the Game that got me into competitive breeding. So I made myself a freak ton of shiny competitive Pokémon on that island.

This was AWESOME! I totally forgot about all of this, I havent picked up this game in a couple years, it was the best remake! I loved all the megas and improvements and changes, the only thing I would wish for is gym leader rematches but honestly? It's not even that deep, this game was phenomenal!

The Legendary pokemon mirage spots aren't on the once-per-day cycle the rest of the Mirage spots are on.... they instead require your team to be set up in specials ways... For example, the one you encountered here requires you to have pokemon with 510 EVs on it (maybe more, I forget), and the time of day determines which Sword of Justice pops out.
There's another for having pokemon of max friendship that spews out the Sinnoh lake Trio, and I think Reshiram or Zekrom will come out if you have a LV 100 pokemon.... or maybe that's Palkia and Dialga. I forget the details.
Don't dialga and palkia require you to have the lake trio in your party? I know giratina requires dialga and palkia, and kyurem required zekrom and reshiram

You can get the majority of the legendaries in one sitting if you really wanted to except for one because it's RNG. That's Cresselia. You need to pass someone either in StreetPass or online who has done a Mirage Island. Obviously trading between versions whether through the GTS, Bank, or through PKSM (depending if Nintendo axes the first two by the time this comment is read) will be required to acquire the version exclusives in the other game (Ho-Oh/Lugia, Palkia/Dialga, Zekrom/Reshiram). The only ones that are a bit annoying are needing 3 max friendship value to get the Lake Trio, 3 max EVs to get the Swords of Justice, and Dialga/Palkia/Giritina (as they require the Lake Trio and then each other to unlock).
Just to note, "annoying" doesn't mean difficult.

ORAS is a very close second behind B2W2 simply because of how many Pokemon it had. I think I was over 400 hours.
I'm playing event the updated B2W2 from Drayano and it doesn't hold up IMO
I put 900 hours with online play into Omaga ruby, it was my first pokemon game

I wish more people recognized how great these game's postgames were!!! I thought sun and moon also had good postgames but after that it went down hill with sword and shield having basically nothing to do story wise after you beat the game.

You can actually catch the legendaries before the post game. After you take on Groudon/Kyogre then they become unlocked. Idk if you need to actually catch them or if you've just battled them but they can in fact be caught pre post game

If we got the battle frontier it would be one of the best postgames in gaming history

I wish I never reset my game as a kid, I had every single gift pokemon and had the chance to complete the Pokédex with my dad as well as never finished the post game Apperently. I didn’t know much about pokemon as a kid and now am so sad that I didn’t.

what do you mean too short? you have the entire battle frontier, you have the mirage tower and the caves for searching for the fossils, you have the hidden roaming caverns for groudon and kyorge, you have the regis, you have the latis, you have the events, you have trainer hill, you have the same ruined ship postgame you referenced in this video, you have the entirety of hoenn's oceans to explore underwater in, you have the battle with steven in meteor falls, you have the match call feature which enables you to not only rematch normal trainers like the vs seeker but it lets you even refight the gym leaders and nearly every trainer in the game. and thats not even all the postgame, I'm sure I missed something. if your whole excuse for it being short is that it lacks the delta episode, I'm sorry but thats a bad argument and means you misunderstand what most people consider postgame, because they don't only mean post story quest arcs, most people include places like battle frontier and actually catching the legendaries and any other facilities. that is postgame. by your logic, pokemon x and y have a better postgame because of the looker quest, and noone in their right mind would agree with you there.

First of all you can catch the reggis before elite four so basically they're not post game, same with the ocean exploration,raquaza and the fossils in the desert...So the only thing thats exclusive to post game is groundon and kyougre and the battle frontier then latios or latias....emeralds post game is also very underwhelming since its the only post game without any storyline....

Also if you're seriously calling delta episode and looker quest better than battle frontier just because its story I'm sorry but you are nuts. I could care less about having postgame story, what I want in a pokemon game is an overload of content to do, hence what emerald, heart gold soul silver, and black white 2 had. That is what people see as a good postgame. This just proves you all misunderstand what the majority of veteran fans consider good postgame because of your biase towards the remakes

that, and, the other reason, i'm guessing, that people don't challenge the league for the rematches, is that TPC, and gamefreak, REFUSE to have the pokemon in the Victory Road level up to competent levels, to make training up to level 70, for the champions team, take 2 or 3 hours, instead of, like, 10.

Just got to post game (for the first time) the other day. Only need uxie until I need to buy Alpha to finish the legendary sets that are needed for both games to unlock. Its fun but a grind for sure.

@TerraQuake1 I just started the post game and I feel like I'm losing my mind.
I remember back when the game first came out that each time you beat the elite four, you would get a starter pokemon from the other regions (johto as example) plus you was also able to get mega stones for them. Doing my current playthrough of the post game, I got the johto starter (I picked cyndaquil) but yet I can't remember how to get the mega stone. So I feel like I'm losing my mind or some weird effect happened to me during my original playthrough of the game
Must be experiencing the Mandela Effect, because Typhlosion doesn’t have a mega 😂

help ( my omega. Ruby, game cartridge got corrupted recently I was using powersaves last week and before you know, it doesn't read on my Nintendo 3-D XI and even more annoying power save doesn't recognize. I've used it for about a year now with lots of Code being added, and it's only after I got corrupted is now saying unsupported game, even though it's working perfectly fine for months. It all started basically want to add a one Pokemon to the coding and then a couple minutes later, added another code that's when it happened. Please anyone give me a solution to fix this. Is there any place or store I can go to to get this fixed anywhere I can reset my 3DS anyway I can get my powersaves to recognize my cartridge in order to get it back up. Literally anything will help. Please help me.

Hm I don't know about whether or not I am satisfied with the post game. I keep drawing comparisons to HGSS because of how there is another adventure after beating the game twice in the Kanto and Johto region. The Delta episode feels short and you would think there would be more episodes but oh well.
Not adding the actual Battle Frontier is a massive disappointment, but other than that, I think this is decent

Objectively at least content wise this is the best pokemon game
You can actually rematch Wally at the battle resort if you get a win streak of 80(or maybe 100 can't remember sorry) and he will use a level 80 team
you forgot about new mauville and the crashed ship which are both technically post game content,and you can find multiple hoopa holes per day since it often depends on what mons you have in box or in party
the same applies for unique legendary locations but the regis should be available to find if you can solve the riddles similar to gen 3
New Mauville, The Abandoned Ship, and the Regis can all be completed before taking on the Elite Four 👍
