I love how the box is designed just like the box they give there drivers. Same logo on top of the wheel itself.

I just wish they changed the paddles for us for comfort.
It is crazy to see all of the details coming through that wheel in an f1 game. It was like I saw every bounce in the suspension. Not used to that so yeah that 1200grams is making it get crazy details and being 280mm.
What wheelbase are you using? I've forgotten.
Also its crazy you have it so dialed in for details yet strong yet are able to turn in with such a light grip?
Honestly, if your a replica guy this wheel is as close as you can or will ever get to an official wheel from an F1 car and for 2500 bucks US, thats a steal. Considering that wheel in real life probably sits at 10k minimum

The cope is real. As cool as this is, for 99% of the worlds population, this will never be considered "a steal". It's just expensive toys for rich people.
Nice bit of kit but as a VR user i love my Asetek forte wheel. I wish more manufacturers would make VR centric wheels, for example swapping out the screen for a touch pad for ultimate compatibility/flexibility in a PC environment

I have the esportsim wheel. Amazing quality too and got huge discount on it almost half price earlier in the year. The shifters on that thing is the best I have felt ever and is not noisy (like cube controls)
Only a Pro sim racer would want to buy this. But it definitely looks very authentic as it should be since Mercedes/Patronas licensed this.

I surprised Mercedes wheel doesn’t have additional shift on the backside. I believe RedBull got for DRS.
its all up to driver preference i guess, mercs wheel is more or less designed round lewis over the years. maybe we'll see it changed when he leaves
They have two button at rear instead of paddles , that’s just simple , also all f1 wheel button are modified by driver preference
Ahhh, when you mentioned the Merc rim in previous vids I thought you meant the GT3 one that looks like a stretched out facemask. This one is quite the looker. I would be sticking in an order but for the rocker type paddle shift. Sure I might as well just stick with my McLaren GT3 V2 wheel, it's virtually the same 😏 The price point might seem mega but I'd say it's not aimed for the general sim racing population, it's for the eSport drivers who will get the most out of all the functions.
