I saw SO many people complain about this mission, when they never take the time to kill the guards BEFORE breaking the cables. Anyway, interesting mod.
What I love about Jak 2's harsh difficulty is that it rewards you for thinking strategically, although on the surface it doesn't seem like the game to reward such play.
It also gives the game a lot of replayability.
We need a mod to make the games more difficult. Specifically tougher enemies (Apart from when you're on the turret at the drill platform).
Wish OpenGoal did this. If they wanted to make the games better, a higher challenge would be a big improvement, though optional. Of course I know nothing about messing with a game engine and its code and it might be extremely hard to do.
OpenGOAL team will certainly not change how the game worked. But mods can do it.
I looked at the guards in the city and I already have some fun ideas for a harder guard alert system,
OpenGOAL is a port. Ports should not be making major changes to the game.

Would an enemy randomizer be possible in Jak 2? There are so many types of enemies. It would be fun to see enemies appear in places where they shouldn't 😁
Should be easy with OpenGOAL. Though I haven't tried it in TPL either.
jak 2 in proper widescreen and consistent fps on pc?? YES
i 100%’d precursor legacy on opengoal and have been anxiously waiting for 2 to be playable (my gaming pc’s specs aren’t the best so emulation is iffy at best)
I did actually drop frames somehow, but yeah it is good already.
Good. I hate the granate launchers with a burning passion.
They could have made them blink or make a particle effect trail or find another way to make them more visible but nope they are as grey as the dirt and so missable.

neat! now i can see why the developers made them fire grenades, now it is easier than heck to take them out!
How playable is jak 2 on open goal? Im very excited to play this one

Would it be possible in OPEN GOAL to combine all the maps together without load time?
Many levels overlap each other in Jak II. And it wouldn't make sense. Also, load times in OpenGOAL are extremely short, even if you are using a HDD.
@@LuminarLight That makes sense to me, however, I do think it is a possibility whether it makes sense in the story or not. (exploration purposes) I've done so many odd things "that don't work" and they've worked. If there's a will there's a way and that's probably what Naughty Dog thinks of you a this team.
Drill platform is in the middle of the city, that is quite a big overlap. And there are more like this.
The whole game and its levels were not designed to ever be loaded all at the same time. But I guess it is possible, you "just" have to rework the game and the levels.
It would be nice to load the city as a whole. There are load points at the gates and on the transporter anyway.
