S3 are 86 model year vin starting at xxxx1000. The factory used 87 parts (big black brakes, sway bars. Shocks and springs) from 87 modelyear (transition year). Starting with the 85 (S2) the 928 had 32 valve 10:1 compression and pipe organ intake. 87 was the intake change, computer change and cams (S4).
Hmm, you are sort of right there. The car in the clip has got the big spoiler so it must be an S4 which did indeed have a 5.0 litre engine (what is an S3?). The 928 also got a 5.4 litre with the GTS, but I don't think this is one of them.
The mk3 Supra is the 3.0.GT (7M-GTE) 230 hp, so it was the less powered car in that race vs 300ZX and V8 928S Porsche and the 91... It should have been the twin turbo JZ engine powered mk3 Supra!
Haha..... in Japan at a low altitude. That isnt going to make much difference. 300zx are big and fat and need the turbos to be anywhere close to being good. Trust me its a TT.

Porsche ftw, that 928 was so tidy and composed compared to the other cars, even the 911. Though, the guy in the red car was having too much fun.

The 911 owners in the 80s/90s knew the 928 was superior and hated the 928. Put one on a diet, supercharge it and add bigger bars to end all doubts.
Big 4.7 liter V8 in the front, room for shopping in the boot and 2 kids in the back, the 928 is one of the greatest GT cars ever made!

The road does look wet? and they're in Japan so a NA car would still perform well at a low altitude.
@Mazdas247 and that only comes in AT, and is considered Luxury, not a SPORTS car like the RX7, 911, supra, ZX, ETC.....
The driver in the 928 must have been very annoyed, that 911 kept getting in his way ;)

Definately a TT. There is no way a NA version would be that close to the others and a NA couldnt drift like at 4:06.
