Just tried this clay today. It's super good! WAY better than Jack Henry. A true texture clay pomade. I'm really digging this stuff!
Hey there! I’m glad to hear you are enjoying it! I don’t get anything off sales- but I do get a lot of happiness knowing when folks find a product they like from my videos.
@@MMTV can it work on thinning hair. To hold my hair ?
@@carlos-pq5slyes. Try it!
@@carlos-pq5slabsolutely
For all that organic stuff and finish it provides i think it's pretty justified for 24$
There’s definitely folks out there that think like you do and you aren’t wrong. It’s one of those things that I can see both sides on for sure. I also think this product performed exceptionally well- much better than I expected honestly.
Definitely need to check this one out !! And so cute your daughter was in the video ! Now she’s famous
Oh lord idk about famous but she’s definitely special. I loved that moment actually because I remembered her big brother doing the same thing- which I posted on my IG if you haven’t seen that yet.
He Never fails to make videos fun and informative 🔥⚡️
Lightsabers make everything better.
I’d like to see you use your own brand hair clay
Wow! I have been having issues with Jack Henry hold. This is something I need to look into especially 2 ounces vs Jack Henry being only an ounce and half
Mike, how about the "Church volcanic Clay Pomade"? It's apparently super nice also and also, all organic. But that one is water based
I have never heard of it! but it sounds cool- ill add it to my list.
@@MMTVoh yeah, they've been around for a little while. They have several products in their line. Very clean and organic.
Finally someone mentions church California!! I’m surprised there are no UA-cam videos on it. I ordered sun wax and volcanic clay. I just ordered their shampoo conditioner bars.
@@lancer717 yes, I'm very surprised too as they've been around for some time and have gotten a bunch of awards.. I love the coastal cream as a pre styler and then, I go in with a little volcanic Clay or Sunwax..or both.. Super amazing products! I also have the shampoo bar & conditioner.. They're absolutely amazing!
@@tamasmenyhart8483 this is awesome. I can’t wait to try their bars out. And yes, I love their products. I wish it had better hold but it’s fine. I switch around from Oxford hill clay and Church Clays. But I love how easy it is to wash out the church clays. Overall, love how healthy they are for the hair and scalp. What kind of hair/style do you have?
Hey MMTV this was an awesome video also you should make a product review about the Kochi Matte Clay
I’ll definitely take a look! Thanks for watching and the recommendation!
Thanks for the review! What would you recommend that is similar to this but with higher hold?
I want higher hold also, but it’s so hard to find it in a product that is healthy and natural, such as this one. I found that if I use this on damp hair, the hold is better! I have medium length wavy hair.
The hold isn’t good, has no scent, and feels greasy after trying. Wouldn’t recommend.
Interesting 👀
Don’t Think I’ve Tried Any Jack Henry Products 🤔
I think I’m going to check this one out.
Enjoyed the Vid Bruv
Also, possible to do an recent review on the Morris Motley 🙂
Cool man I was looking forward to this review. you're right ...Jack Henry's is little bit oily, but it does settle in after a few hours as the clay absorbs ... next day hair is great with Jack Henry.
regarding this product... I was hoping for a medium or strong medium as I have thick hair but I think this product deserves a try.
I’d say in thinner hair types it will be a higher end of medium like I said but for my thick hair and others like mine it will be medium to low end of medium. And you are absolutely right I really didn’t want this review to turn into a bash on JH as I actually like their clay very much as well. Sometimes it’s hard to compare without one looking like the loser, but both definitely have their lane I think.
@@MMTV yea man. never any losers, every product is unique in there own way (lane) love the comparisons
Folks always tell me “I know you hate comparisons” haha but really I hate comparisons that 1- don’t make sense ( like comparing this clay to suavecito for example- and yes it does happen 😂) and 2- when folks base their entire decisions to try or not solely on a comparison. When you compare something to something else you aren’t really getting the full picture so I just don’t place a ton of value on them. I’d rather just give a visual representation
Would you say Oxfordhill has a stringer hold in the wind compared to the Forte Clay?
Probably not. The forte clay is thicker and more robust I think.
Mike i wanne ask you somethings
I use cavalier clay but it pulls off my hair if i use it in blow dry hair but if its in like damp hair its easier for me to use that what do you think?
If you are happy with that then run with it!
Well this video helped me to decide. Going for it.
Let me know how it works for you!
Did you get it, is it worth it
@@tommytatui8200 Hi, I'm still waiting to get my hand on it.
Hi @@tommytatui8200 short answer, yes. Totally worth it. My first impression: Te description of the product in this video it's very accurate. It's smell good, it feels good, but be careful with the dosis you use because you can get some flakes. Also i don't know if is the shampoo i'm using but I fell it's not that easy to wash off. But I think is a great product. When i order it, it came with 2 travel size. Go for it!
it works very well, but it's not so easy to wash off, maybe Is the shampoo I use, it's H&S infused with almond oil. But I love the producto, I'm very happy. You gave a very precise discription and it's true, you have to be careful how much you use.
I have been using this for a long time. I have thinning hair and this is the ONLY clay I use. I will always use for as long as I have hair left. 😂
I hope you have hair for a long long time!
Classic hairstyle is very nice on you
Thanks bro!
I bought Jack Henry believing that was same Baxter of California, wrong!!! Very poor quality, I'd like test this brand
They are definitely not the same haha
Do it! It’s really good
would this product work for my thick asian hair?
Hard to make a full prediction but this one had good hold so I’d say possibly
$24 for 2 ounces? Hard pass when Lodestar and others offer twice that amount for less.
Hey there! Thanks for watching and commenting! I know folks feel that way- that’s what I was hinting at towards the end.
I’ve been a LE officer for 25 years so I’m in no way affiliated with this company with that being said, the jar last a long time. You only need a little bit. I work a LOT of 16+ hour shifts and I notice my hair still looks good
