I really do think it's the only way. I've been around long enough to know that it's not a one size fits all world!
Prefer the look of the finish on the second one and it seems like it moves through the hair easier - I hate when products like this are tuggy and pull your hair out! It would be great to get a sample of each to try, compare and give our feedback too. Oh - and my vote is definitely for the blue packaging!

TVS is my favorite pre-styler. I do enjoy the scent, toning it back a little bit is the right move I think.
Keeping the blue glass jars/bottles is a smart move I think. It’s almost a signature Anforh blue at this point and I love it.
For the product, I vote for 1.2 in the blue jar. I am looking forward to trying whatever you come up with next! Current favorites of mine are Claymation, Northern Lights, and Firsthand Supply Clay Pomade.

Robin most importantly it has to have something to add that texture, that grittiness to Fine Hair which you get after using a sea salt spray if not very intense, a little ever so slightly.
And yes ofcourse the strong hold !!

It's funny how gentle I am with my hair because I don't want any excessive amounts falling out, but then I watch your videos where you absolutely ravage your hair. I guess the fact that you still have hair after all these years should be evidence that I don't need to care that much, haha.

I appreciate you sticking to your guns on the fragrance. I really like it personally, but it IS too strong for me (it hurts my nose after a while) so I'm looking forward to picking up a second bottle of the texture spray after the scent has been dialed back. I love the product otherwise! We have similar hair types so I knew it would do exactly what I wanted it to do, and it doesn't disappoint. To my taste, the second product you showed in this video is better. I find the more matte finish to be much more versatile, and I like the lift a lot more. Looking forward to seeing the next thing you do, Robin! Also YES keep the blue glass, I love it.

I think the second one looks a tiny bit better and more natural, but then again, it's a splitting hairs kind of difference.
Totally is. I'm still playing with them now, but really enjoying them.
Would probably try both these products see what one works for me , but I do like the look of the second one , good texture, hold and looks natural, well done robin hope these are released soon .
Really like the scent in TVS, but my wife would appreciate dialing it down a bit. I really dig the blue glass, sets ANFORH apart and gives it a premium look. On my second bottle of TVS with very fine hair, will be continuing to buy!

1.2 appears to have that versatility you’re after. Being able to layer it in means that it should work for different types of hair. And the finish looked healthier to me. The finish on 1.1 just seemed a bit dry to me.
I've not been able to find anything to replace Baxterr Of California's Clay Pomade since they discontinued it. I'd love if you could get close to that!
I love the fact your bringing out a clay my favourite product you got me on I use every day is morrocan oil texture clay but I am really looking forward to trying out your clay when it comes out

Grim grease has some great hybrid pomades and they don’t have a lot of reviews but they have some of my favorite like there cream pomade
First one seemed a bit less dry look so definitely prefer the 2nd one!

Looks amazing! I'd love to try both, but the first one attracts to me most. I am surely giving it a try once it is released. Although I do hope the scent will not be too heavy since I have a really sensitive nose and will have heavy allergy reactions to too strong scents. And yeah, blue packaging for sure! It will look great with the grey'ish clay in it.

Hi Robin, I'm loving this video and your new range. I've got similar hair and length to you so I like to flex between a product that has more hold and on other days more creamy. So I will definitely be looking into purchasing your products. Keep up the good work

I think they look amazing.. how they look quite slick & a tad shiny but just clean!! I always struggle when I use a sticky product as I feel like it pulls my hair too much when I put it in

Very pumped for your first go at a clay! 1.2 definitely seemed better. Less tug and pull is always appreciated. Also very excited to try TVS but I'm waiting for the scent to be dialed down. Will orders to the US have the new formula or should I wait a bit longer.

They should both give a thickening/swelling effect for sure.
1.2 is way better but i wish if u could add sea salt into it like quick sand, I like its matte and doesn't look greasy like the blue one and it seems its ez to wash. Packaging, I like the brown jar with black lid and maybe an engraved logo since u said its gonna be a premium product. Lastly, the result reminds me of oudoud and love ur work well done.

Is 1.2 in production yet? I would love to try it/buy it. I have a thin/fine hair type and I discovered your channel by looking for what the best hair clays out there would be. I was using and loving one called Underdog Grey Clay but it’s apparently being discontinued because it dries out too fast in it’s container (true). Through your recommendations, I tried Moroccanoil texture clay and like it. However, I wish it had more hold to it. Any suggestions for me? Love your vids and personality brother!
Can you recommend a product for military use ie sweat, putting a hat on and off and still hold a slick back(currently using rough rider clay) thankyou 🤙

No 2 is fav - less shine than no 1, dare I say no 1 one looked a lil greasy, also second one seemed to offer a better hold, volume and shape once you styled. Even prefer the packaging as the colour has more of an amber appearance, I’d associate more with premium frags than bathroom products.
What is your most used one to which you were referring? Hanz De Fuko, Claymation?

how is it recommended to wash your hair with pomade, with or without shampoo daily?
I would love to be a review sampler, beta tester. I like the blue glass too. But it looks like "The Product" is in the brown glass from what I'm seeing so far. I like a strong hold and have hair that is thin/fine and not very dense. I have Anforh TVS. (My wife loves the scent. I can't smell though. Based off the scent alone she started using your TVS. lol)

Robin, first of all, hats off for all the effort you have done to be where you are today. Now, about the product review, I think both are good, but the 2nd one looks better. I think the 2nd one should be your go-to product.

The first one you tried made the hair look kinda wet/greasy which I personally don’t like, that’s the kinda look my hair gets when I don’t shower.
And the second one looks great, definitely got something going on there, make a version of that second one more matte and with a bit stronger hold and I’ll be ordering for sure 🫢
I currently use your ANFORH Texture Volume Spray & Moroccanoil Texture Clay in damp hair, blow dry & finish with IQ intelligent Clever dust.
How ever im currently looking to take out the dust, as would like a quicker 2 step process, is there a clay you would recommend to cocktail with (TVS) as a pre styler before blow-drying/finishing with hair spray that has a strong hold but does not weight hair down (I like the dry look & have fine hair side quiff) ?

the first one imo is a little too waxy looking and you can see thin strands of hair with the typical waxiness. looks also like the type of clay that only got kaolin in it. The second one is much more how i think a clay should look like! giving bigger strands of hair with a matte to satin finish and the slightest bit of waxiness. also the texture looks nicer. (Don't know the ingredients of these but i would go with neither water based nor petrolatum based, but rather ricinus oil or aloe juice, so it won't dry out or will be too greasy/heavy. )

when you do the side by side comparison; the lighting is different which makes comparison unfair. lighting is darker on 1.2 which makes look thicker and fuller.
Hey, absolutely. It's a natural light setting, so really would need a studio to get it perfect. But hopefully it was helpful to see.
you should also create a bottle where you can store your own farts, so you can sniff them whenever you want, and go mmmmmmmm, I smell nice 😊
As this is glsss, you can wash it out once you finish using the product. Then you can store whatever you like in it.
