Thumbs up on the video, was a terrific starting point for me. I had purchased a couple products and been trying them since I've let my hair grow out (mostly due to covid), but now I quite like it being long. I work outside and having it longer means I can sweep it back and keep my hair from dangling in my eyes at work. This might be TMI but I get pretty sweaty at work, so a product that holds good during that is key to not messing with my hair constantly. This video helped me know why the products I bought work and gave me some pointers on what to buy next when looking for a product that fits my needs perfectly... I have a word of advice that might help anyone who read this bloated post lol, reading the ingredients list can help you make sure that a product has what you do or don't like. Turns out I'm a huge fan of products with beeswax in it which makes sense, I wouldn't be sweating that product out and it still holds in the high humidity and heat of Florida, it can be reshaped basically until you wash your hair again and it's perfect for me. Any products I buy in the future I'm gonna make sure has a wax in it for holding ability. Also I was about to buy some Slick Gorilla, but it might not be the product for me; looking in the ingredients it has petrolatum which is likely why they call it a clay pomade. It looks like most clays have no petrolatum so that one's a bit of a hybrid, likely the perfect product for a lot of people looking for both things.
I have fine thin hair and the best product I've found for myself is Schwarzkopf OSiS Mess Up matte paste. I'll check out a couple products in this video, namely the Cremo paste and the Slick Gorilla volumizing powder. I think OSiS has a volumizing powder as well, but I've never tried it. I'll have to see if I'm remembering that right and give that a try, too. I wish companies made trial sized versions of their product because I do like trying new stuff, but it sucks when you know something just isn't for you after the first application. You keep trying it thinking it'll work differently and because you spend $X on it, lol. If it were a $5 trial size that gave you like 3 days worth of product, it's no big deal if you toss it out on day 1. You can try 6 different products for the price of one product which you might just end up tossing out.
I always use a regular pomade and then throw my hair net on and then put some tres Flores on top of my hair with the net on so it gets the smell and the shine but not the greasy feel
I have a thick hair and I personally frustrated that everytime I go out, wind will drop my hair and mess it. Do you recommend clay or cream for a thick hair person?
I have very thick wavy hair.. But i love my hair if i maintain it short i use clay so it'll stays how i want and only get fully removed if i shampoo that day... If i rock slightly loose long wavy hair even 4+ inches in the front i use cream it gives a natural moisture and soft to touch... Also maintaining the waves... Hope you get something from this :D.
@@creativemind_2798 Ah I see. Well I really hate it when my hair move around a lot. Thats why I want to lock it. For now im already using clay cream and hairspray, will try this first
Looooove this video! I would love to see how and where do you organize all of your products? I seen where you turned your room into your studio, guys are so basic which is good, I have my studio at my house too and I probably overthink it, I wish I could remodel it every time, never feel like it’s good enough lol
I have super thick and straight black hair, and I've been using gel. I also touch my hair a good bit, I like to run my hands through my hair. And was wondering why as soon as I touch my hair it looks like I got a freaking scalp condition. Now I know thanks.
Hey Marty, what are you doing for your hairloss? A lot of us did things like wearing a hat when we're indoors, lol. But that doesn't work forever. You should do a video on Finasteride and Minoxidil. Start using both and take pictures every month. Then show us all the pictures every month up until one year into the treatment. It would be interesting.
@@MartyBlendz bro my skin is oily skin which pomade i mean oil based pomade or water based pomade is good for me ? Recommend me which is the best oil / water based pomades with natural ingredients i mean without bad effects in hair
I use a hair gel on my fine hair texture but it’s always hard to wash out I use a L’Oréal studio line power 8 gel any advice? It doesn’t wash out no matter what I do
Besides shampoo , What do you recommend for short hair a bald fade with like a number 5 on top ?? Like just for a good smell . A very soft hold pomade maybe ????
I’m 5 months into letting my hair grow out but I’m at that awkward stage my hair is on the wavy side so what do you think would work best for longer hair, wavy like mine?
Why aren’t I able to buy El Patron Cannabis Sativa Creme Wax ?! I looked it up everywhere its like if they’re trying to erase history lol Does anyone know how i can get 1?
What's the material that is not oily/greasy at all, can hold just for a few hours, when I comb thru hair it won't leave anything on my comb, when I touch my hair/head it won't leave anything on my hands, and easy to wash off with shampoo(but not water) ? Thanks
Thanks for the nuggets bro I appreciate the help im a 17 year old and have been cutting for around a year, but bro u should drop some more tutorials like in all different type of hair cute and styling ! That would help me alot 🙏 you underrated and a Goat !
Hello I just don't understand what I should take now if I don't have that thick hair. Clay? Wax? matte paste? Can you please recommend a product for me? (I have very thin and flat hair).
Hey what would be the best for combed back hair? I have thick Mexican hair, I usually don’t put stuff in my hair. But I still want try some products I like a natural look and dont like the 1950s slicked back greaser heavy product look just a natural comb back.
Love your vidsss, is the red hair spray also good to use on line ups. For example on edgar cuts to make that standing up hairs nice and down for a crispy edge up? Thanks in advance!😊
Which of these products won’t make me go bald in the long term , I need a hard hair gel because I sweat a lot and the regular moco de gorilla yellow doesn’t hold on at all
I have a question ive been asking barber/people jn tiktok but they dont respond what typa pomade should i use for high taper blowout with line up tk make it slick up #asian hair
Ah, i know the perfect thing for that, when u wake up, u shake ur penile back and forth fast until some oooey gooey whitish clear liquid comes out, then u apply that to ur hair and itll look like that all day long. I do caution you tho, u might be tempted to swallow the product so be careful

I don’t know how I ever lived without this liittlextra neatfix hair finishing stick. I have thick, coarse hair that I usually run a straightener through. Over the last year, I’ve been dealing with flyaways along my part that just won’t lay flat. This product completely solved the problem! I was concerned it would be oily or go on too heavy, but it’s very simple to use and doesn’t leave any residue. The only issue I’ve found is that after a while it gathers at the bottom of the tube, so I have to lay it sideways to get an even distribution on the brush. Aside from that, I highly recommend it!
I still can’t decide what product so pls reply to this comment I have thin long hair my hair is silky and soft so basically fine hair and I’m looking for a kind of flaky hairstyle and I want something that can hold my hair but I don’t want to shower too much so I want something that can hold my hair and get out of my hair after 1 shower
