Super cool! I allready have this keyboard and i was too lazy to get in the Instructions. I knew there must be something cool with the Quick sampling button and know it's even hotter. So, Thank you very much!
Hi Jeremy, you really must watch this video where two Guitar Center guys are demoing the Groove Creator and sampling features of the PSR E463. I haven’t had so much fun in a long time watching a keyboard demo video. Regards.
Keyboard technology sure has come a long way since the late 90s when I purchased my Korg Triton Workstation. The availability of this this tech at this price was seriously unheard of! My next purchase will be this unit THEN the Yamaha ew425! Thank You Jeremy See for your plethora of informational keyboard videos! You make it easy to make decisions to own this equipment!
@@JeremySee Your expert advise has led me to my purchase of the Yamaha EW425. I love the organ sounds at the price I paid for it! Is there a way to install a volume pedal for use with this keyboard? The organ sounds would be beautiful with this accessory!
Of course I am studying this video ( like I do all of the ones that are of musical interest within your subscription!) And again, I am beginning to love the affordability of this keyboard with it's many capabilities! I am not a drummer at all, so this model not only replaces drum machine, but it allows me to create my own specialized accomplishments! As a gospel quartet performer, I see how this would be a welcome addition to adding fullness without adding people to any group! I am in love with board already, and I am still waiting on it's arrival! Bro. See, you are an awesome man of God!
I have the E463. And, it's interesting that the samples in your B section are different from mine. Your Section E sample is my Section B. I don't even have the "What's up?" sample at all. Anyway, I'll be watching your E463 videos, so that I can learn all about mine. Thank you for doing all these videos.
Hi Jeremy, do you know if is there a model a little more expensive with the same features that this keyboard BUT with the same lenght for the pitches (witch change only the Height and not the speed of the samples). And if possible with a microphone jack. Thank you !
That is soo awesome! I did not know they have that!! My question is if you play say like from a computer, DAW creating your own drums, is it possible to use the head phone jack from the pc to the Keyboard AUX? Cause if I had a 2nd keyboard? It might be a possibility to create your own music.
Hey Jeremy, highly appreciate all your work.. I've got something to ask: a. It is possible to record our own keyboard bits (like chords) as samples, right?? b. How long does it take to write the samples into the key?? Is it really possible to record samples on the go, like when a groove or a style is running and we want a bit to repeat itself over?? Thanks...
Hi, nice video as usual. I find that without speed adjustment to the pitch this sampling function is quite useless and is just a gimmick actually. Hopefully in 2 years the next model will have speed adjustment in function of the pitch so that al pitches will have the same length. Then it will be more useful musically speaking.
You are right. It's lacking many features to make a sample useful. But is a very affordable keyboard so we can't expect too much. You can get one for just USD$200 brand new where I live. Pales in comparison to the Tyros 5 I have. 😆
It is a bit weird to get used to when just sampling sound effects. I sampled my Moog Sub 37 onto it though and it sounded really nice, playing full chords with the Dual on Strings made my day.
hi Jereme very interesting, can i create a wav file as a sample and assign to one of the loops? i am thinking i might need to playback wav file and record as a sample?
Hi Jeremy! Please help me to make a midi song on Yama 463, from sheet of music. I am beginer, I dont now all musical notes. I try to use Lesson fetures on Yama E453. I am not succesfull. I dont know, how to get my song in to Lesson function. I have song on the sheet of music. Steve
Hello, I have the Yamaha PSR E-463 keyboard and I want to load voices samples from the usb, like in this video: ua-cam.com/video/9IwFo1FF4NE/v-deo.html I have Kontakt nki format instruments, and the wave files of each note extracted from the nki file. How can I load them into the USB to the Yamaha to use them as an instrument voice?, Thanks.

Yes!!! same questions....
"When they shift the pitch, they also shift the time" Darn, this sucks! They could have shifted pitch without shifting time with a little bit DSP.

Very interesting thanks for sharing
VERY NICE AND THANK YOU SIR
Is there a way to have multiple sampling zones? That would make its wholelot better do you know?
A odd question but do you think this would sample a vox or Gibson organ and be able to play chords successfully?
Is it available in 453?
Very nice cool video...
To loop, or not to loop. THAT is the question
hi Jereme very interesting, can i create a wav file as a sample and assign to one of the loops? i am thinking i might need to playback wav file and record as a sample?
Yes you can
do the grove creator next!
Yza, how do you pronounce your name? Perhaps you can make a video with you saying your name.
Do you like this video? Do give it a thumbs up. Thanks!
Jeremy See I can't because I might cough in the vid I'm not well...
Does the e453 not have the quick sampling mode?

Jeremy See Thank You. Hello from Rio, Brazil!
Quick sample better or music database better
Totally different things.

Yes
Perfect thank you! Is it still possible to play with expression and a wide range of dynamics given the non-weighted keys?@@JeremySee
