I'm 27 and decided to start Piano with PSR E363. I love the sound of it. I am planning to upgrade to more advanced YAMAHA with 88 keys when I mastered the piano.
Thanks Ignatious Lim and other seniors, I will be joining you shortly as I ordered my PSR E363 yesterday and was told today it is on order (hopefully only 2 wks). I am 76 and in Western Canada. I watched parts 1 and 2 again today for the 3rd or 4th or ??? time. I learn something new about my PSR-EW300 each time I watch these videos, even though it is not the same model as you cover. There is so much inside these things, I think you could do two MORE videos and there would still be much to learn. Thank you!!

For anyone trying to make a perfect loop, I figured out the hard way that the A-B repeat works in MEASURES, and not the position that you actually press the repeat button for the "B". It's challenging, but I found the way to get as close to making a perfect loop as possible is best done by using the metronome feature while recording yourself playing what you want to be looped, and play in tempo. This way, when you use the A-B repeat, it should hopefully be looping at the correct point.
Came back to say I am watching both of these manual videos from start to finish at 6 am. again. These are so much work for you. I really liked them. Just saying!

@2:20 The noisy volume knob is fixed by removing the knob, spraying the pot with DexoIT D5. It cleans oxidation, and is a contact cleaner that eliminates the scratchy noise. Works on radio knobs and stereo equipment. DexoIT!
Blummin fantastic learned so much from this and thought I knew all I needed to until I saw this your the best Jeremy.
A more unorthodox approach from the rest of the comments, but I’m using this keyboard as a synthesizer to add background and pump up per se my original guitar songs.
Was so ecstatic when you said you’d be exploring each button in depth.

Hello Jeremy, thank you so much for both parts of your tutorial. Really very good, useful and practical. I have one question about the chords. With this model, is there a way to find out (so it would be automatically shown on the small screen) which chord I am currently playing when I hit few notes with my left hand? For instance if I hit the notes C-E-G it would detect automatically and show on the screen chord C. Is it possible? Many thanks, Christophe

That's a great keyboard but it has a couple of things that I don't like: the sound is too low, the piano sound is not so good as I would like and the sensibility of the keys is not good enough.

Mr See, trying to choose between Yamaha PSR EW300 and PSR E363....I'm a total beginner and leaning towards the EW300 because of the more keys. I will be focusing on just the piano voice/sound. Any recommendations and want to stay in the $300 range. Thanks friend.
You will need more keys for learning the piano. EW is more suitable than the E363.

Hi thanks for these videos! My son is just learning on this keyboard. He has mastered recording his own backing but wonder how does he loop the backing so he does not need to record for like 2/3min of backing?

That's too long buddy. The statistical mathematical probability of me getting 1,000 subs is on 8th July 2018. 27 days time.
On 9th Decemeber this year, mathematically, i should hit 5,000 subs.

The keybed is most likely faulty. You have to let a technician check.

Standard piano with a sustain pedal is necessary. The problem will be not enough keys. You need 88 keys for the original version.
