Wow, that comparison review was very well done and it took you a lot of time and $$$ to do!!! So many YT-ers just gab away, no editing, no anything. You are in a completely different category! Thank you so much!
i like this guy direct to the point when review
Which one is better as a midi controller?? Can I assign a function to a button while using these keyboards as midi through DAW??
@@reshephgani9798 casio ctx 5000
Jeremy is great. One of the best reviewers I've ever come across. No bullshit just straight to the point
Wow, thank you so much for this video! This is EXACTLY the information I needed in such an organized, easy to understand fashion. Keep it up, friend. Great stuff!
Actually, I have a question. Of these 3 keyboards, how would you compare the weight of the keys?
This is the first comparisons video without a demonstration I have watched all the way through. Excellent.
21 points you win Jeremy! 🏆
I think for my style I made the right choice, arrives next week.
I have been following your videos for years and they keep getting better and better, this one is absolutely excellent, in presentation, preparedness and delivery. Kudo's many could learn from you on how to put together a great comparison video!
Thank you for your kind compliments. ❤️
Wow. I wish every review of every product could be this thorough. I know next to nothing about keyboards and was leaning heavily towards the Yamaha until you compared user interface. I am only moderately tech savvy, so the Korg wins for me. Thank you so much Jeremy.
Absolutely the best comparison EVER! Extremely valuable video for those of use living in poverty where $400 is a 3 years savings and cannot make a mistake on a purchase. You are obviously a musician because all the points are important and you included comments that only a musician would know. This video is so well done, too bad there are commercial interruptions every 5 minutes.
I didn't have any commercials.
Jeremy, It is often difficult to see which buttons you have selected before playing a demo. Could you please list your registration / selection before you start to play. It would help a lot for us novices . Thanks for all you do
Thank you very much Mr. Jeremy. As a casual user, with no skill to play at all, and just want to play for fun, I really confuse between CTX-5000 and EK-50, on that price range. Now I knew I should go for EK-50.
Thank you for watching. If you are a casual beginner, the Korg is much easier to use.
Hi... i'm so impressed with this video. So i have a kind request to u, could you please make a video on comparison of those keyboards with roland keyboard?
Thank you Jeremy for all those nice, honest and clear video's from you. It helps me really to make the right choice to buy the keyboard that fits me best. Thank you 1.000 times !
Nice job comparing the keyboards. Thanks for taking the time to provide this informative video.
Super video - Thank You! I have been considering two of these keyboards. This video has been very helpful in my decision.
What did you get?
Great review - just want i was looking for and got EK-50. It is indeed awesome for the price range. Easy to use and my kid picked it up just like that !!!
Thank you Jeremy!
Congrats!!🎶
One added feature that only the CTX Casio has is a very powerful addition called the Phrase Pads. 4 phrase pads allow four additional solo sequences to the 4 variation standard style. This is huge when programming your own patterns and want on the fly sequences such as a bass or synth sequence. ALSO, the Casio is the most powerful pattern sequencer available with up to 16 measure lengths in any time signature and quantize levels including, no quantize.
That is one of the reasons I plan on getting one, over the EK-50. Cheers.
Excellent!!! best review I have seen! Thanks!
I cannot thank you enough for how much time you took to really dive deep into EVERYTHING. Thank you!
Very good and informative review. Thanks for making the video.
I really like the Korg EK 50 but it only has 61 keys unlike Yamaha has 76 keys. Do you have any recommendations that has EK 50 features and 76 keys and of course around the budget? I appreciate your help.
Two more questions:
Out of 10, how is the quality of grand piano sound in ew410 compared to ek 50?
Does EW410 have piano + pad sound like ek50? If yes, is it as good?
Thanks much
Excellent review, thank you.
Hey Jeremey, Thank you so much for this indepth comparison. It is one of the best comparison video. May I please request you to make a comparison Video like this one comparing EK-50 with Roland E30.
Thank you .. Wonderful, brilliant observation!!
I am impressed..In our country every body especially music students and even music teachers are always obsessed with Yamaha keyboards.
I always suggest Casio series for students especially for beginners ..
Thank you!!! I love your review. So easy now to decide
Happy to help
Thank you for the comparison . I was struggling to choose between this 3 models. Korg EK50 going to be my first beginner keyboard piano soon💕☺️
Did you get it?
Wow Jeremy. The best demo video EVER. Thank you
A very good review Jeremy.
This was very informative. Thanks!!!!
Really useful video! It helped me to decide for the EK-50. Thanks, Jeremy!
Have fun buddy!
I admire the way u have explained. Good Good Good.
I really wanted an audio output to connect the keyboard to a DAW in the future. Do you know if this CTX5000 update happened already?
Thank you Jeremy you are the best to do reviews and I’m sure many subscribers are saying the same thanks again for your very instructive reviews
I appreciate that!
Hi Jeremy. What would you recommend for a non player who is building a home studio. The board will usually be played by others who are actually very good. Thinking about a new mid price arranger or a used pro unit like a korg triton or kurzweil k2000. The board will be plugged directly into a mixer and will also be used to control a emu proteus 1.
Hi. Thank you, this video is really useful. I want to ask you one thing, which keyboard of these 3 on this video is better to play song with MIDI files? I got the intention to download midis and play muting the melody. I looking forward for your help. Thank you.
You are a gem of a guy when it comes to Keyboard information. A superb player too. Thank you very much.
thank you great review!
Thanks buddy.
Which keyboard would you recommend to re-create popular songs and play live? Is style editing really required to re-create, say, Bohemian rhapsody?
Loving your videos. I have loyalty to Casio. My first keyboard was the tiny VL1 away back in 1981. My first synth was the CZ101. I've been looking for a budget arranger keyboard for a while to aid with songwriting. Checked the prices here in the UK, the Korg is £100 more than the Casio.
best keyboard reviews on youtube. Keep on doing what you're doing brother
😮😍👏👏👏That's a very detailed comparisons of features of the 3 known keyboards in the music world 🤗😁👍👏👏Great Job master Jeremy!😁🤗😘👍😁
Very enjoyable and very informative. I am considering the EK50. It does seem the best of the bunch and easier to use. Thanks Jeremy.
Have fun!
It was a nice surprise to hear back from you.I was a professional musician for many years, but I entertain myself at home.Life on the road wasn't all that it was cracked up to be.Don't get me wrong, the experiences and fantastic venues I appeared in were great, but I get enjoyment with no travelling stress. As far as the EK50 is concerned,If my wife and family ask me what I would like for my birthday in November, I'm ready with the answer.Keep up the good work Jeremy. Regards,Ellis.
Yup! I tried korg ek 50 earlier today, I love it. They said once you buy any instruments below $1k it's consider a toys, but the korg ek 50 wasn't bad.
amazing review thank you
Good thing Korg has improved the UI from PA-50/Microarranger. The operation system in my MicroArranger is very confusing and I have not been able to do anything too complicated with it, like creating styles. Casio should have used the same touch screen and OS from their MZ-X-boards to make CT-X more user-friendly.
You are right. The PA series and the Micro-Arranger UI can be challenging.
Can you please explain more about the usb playback , I use a Juno di and it has playlist software for Mac & Pc it sounds like the EK-50 can only have files listed as a bunch of files that cannot be categorized?
Thank for your review, Jeremy.
Comparing the Korg EK-50 with the Casio CT-S1 / Yamaha NP-12/NP-35 / PSR-E373 / PSR-E473 :
Will Korg be better in these parameters?
-only default piano sound (with external receiver and floorstanding speakers)
-physical feel from the keys when playing
Thank you, Jeremy for that great and informative demonstration! I just purchased a Korg EK-50 and I thank you for helping in that decision! I’m hoping that I can sustain both or all sounds in split mode! Keep up the fabulous work you are doing in helping us keyboardists!
May you and your beautiful family have a blessed Christmas - keeping the Lord Jesus at the center of the celebration!

Do you have to hold fukk chord in left hand for backing track (style) or is possible to just press one note and the keyboard will play that chord?
Hi Jeremy
Untuk sound dan style, manakah yang lebih anda suka, korg EK50 atau casio ctx5000?
Juga yang lebih mudah digunakan, korg EK50 atau casio ctx5000?
Thanks so much for this video, it was very useful indeed... although I have a critic / rhetorical question... how come in a 20 min keyboard comparison there is not a mention of keys quality?
Thank you Jeremy See... Very helpful.. God Bless!
Thanks for watching buddy.

This video was so well done and had so much information listened to it twice and saved it for later. Thank you for all your hard work. I am buying the Casino WK-6600. The 76 key version.
Is that much different to the ctx5000?? it is cheaper im thinking of going with that also
+Ben Norton Zzsounds is where I am getting it from. I want the organ sliders and batteries. I would have gotten the Casio CTX 5000 but I must have batteries. I get the microphone USB and the midi songs I can down load from Casio.
Massively Helpful. I can't thank you enough. I need the Korg. Superb video with no wast of time....excellent job my friend.
Awesome review. I was torn between the Yamaha and the Korg but you have helped me make up my mind.
I know the WK 7600 is a bit older but could you do a video on it showing how to maneuver and set it up thank you.
Hi dear thank you for your wonderful comparison video...my plan was to buy a Yamaha 463 keyboard but after wathching your video my mind was changed and I purchased KORG EK50 keyboard...everything is fine but I am facing a problem in EK 50 Keyboard.I had a Yamaha keyboard which has a dedicated button for accompaniment on/off. In Yamaha, when the accompaniment button is 'on' the accompaniment will start when pressing the chords along with keyboard rhythm. If accompaniment is off the only rhythm will play.
I couldn't find this functionality in the EK 50 Keyboard. ...do you have any idea about it.
What would you consider the best accompaniment piano for a singer person (ballad style)? Thanks for a great video 👍
Hello Peter! I'm a great fan of your videos in the Christmas room. 😉 Have a look at this. ua-cam.com/video/iq2w7kopa6M/v-deo.html
Thanks Jeremy, very well said
Hello Jeremy, Still me. I don't want to make a mistake and I'm wondering. Seeing your Korg EK 50 video, I want to know your opinion, if
I buy this one, will I regret the Aix voice and the Hex layer of the Casio ct-x5000. Or the MZ-X500 if I can find one. It's my last question,
because after your answer, I will make my buy. Many thanks. JP
I still really dunno what to pick.
With ek50 I love ability to turn off each part of accompaniment.
But CTX5000 looks like it comes with huge possibility - edits, registers, bigger sequencer tracks.
Or maybe korg pa300 is better choice?
Korg pa300 is a professional keyboard. Of course it's better
Excellent, review. Still with very much respect I have tried the Yamaha psr e 410 and I really liked. One thing I see is that some of the points go for like, the weight or inputs. The option of using a mike directly. At the end you clarified some of this with your opinion. I am a student of piano. I have a Casio Privia PX 350 that's a small furniture Piano.
I am looking for a portable option not to expensive. It favors me the 76 keys. Best sound timbres and best styles. You still think the Yamaha would be a best option?
And would like to know your opinion between the Yamaha psr ew 410 and the Casio WK7600. I really liked your way of making the review.
Between WK & EW, the EW sounds better to me. Thanks for watching buddy.
excellent video! i had the ew410 sold it due to the limitations you talked about. i have a korg pa600 which i love. i use a software (ONE MAN BAND) and a midi controller for my yamaha styles for fun . i use the korg when i play out. i like the way you present the specifications facts in a non bias way. im a player professional (now retired) after 50+ years of playing on the road. had just about every keyboard there is including the classics(b3,rhodes,moog, etc.) again keep up the good work . im a new subsciber.
Thanks for dropping by buddy. Great to read about your story.
This was very nice. However, you did not mention anything about the drum and percussion sections
Jeremy I wish you would've mentioned that the Yamaha EW-410 has no Bass Inversion feature, while the EK-50 does, although I'm not sure about the Casio.
hello mr jeremy see thank u for your informational videos im planning to buy a keyboard for intermediate user which one should i choose a korg EK50 or yamaha psr-E425? which is better? thank u & more power.
i need record sounds for songs in conect by usb to pc. casio can it to do this? which recommend?? i want to buy the casio. tell me what is better for this samples and record usb??
Can you please suggest me what to buy between Korg Ek-50 and Roland E 09. I'm using it for home and will usually play the piano. So which keyboard will be better for me? Or any other keyboard to suggest me with great sound
awesome review!
Hi Jeremy, sorry, I din't understand why the PSR E463 is mentioned in the tittle of the video? I believe it gets never compared with the others, right? Or maybe I missed that part? Thanks!
thanks Jeremy...i just bought my EW410 today! now i have to learn how to play hehe
Are there any production keyboards with a sampling function/sequencer like the EPS or Ensoniq ASR? It’s very hard navigating what does and what doesn’t. This video was very helpful
Excellent comparison. Please, in quality of keybed, who is the winner?
Thank you What has a better sounding E. Piano & Organ
very good your comparison. i enjoyed a lot.
just saw this, thank you for a great review!! Do you still recommend EK50 / CTX 5000 in August 2020 for keyboards under 500$? still torn between those 2 or are there any newer ones ?
Which one did you order? One disappointment in EK50 from the above comparison is that, it doesn't have arpeggiater function and not possible to create own styles. Other than that ek50 sounds like a good keyboard.
Hi Jeremy, I got a question that prolly been asked many many times. I have a 7yrs old daughter with 20+ piano lessons, and me and wife is debating on her first piano choice: a $1K electric or a $3K acoustic. My wife prefers acoustic, while I prefer the electric. My concern's if my daughter is over her hype as I never seen her partice at home, while my wife thinks the 3K acoustic can be sell as 2nd hand even in that case (while electric has no resell value).
I like for a keyboard to play at home in my free time. Nice comparison Jeremy.
Great review which helped me a lot....!!!!
Glad you liked it
Very fair and comprehensive comparison. I would have loved to see keybed comparison as well. I own the Casio CT-X5000 (bought it in Singapore for less than SGD500 after rebates and discount) and while I'm happy with it, the keybed is squeaky at times. If I'm not wrong, you noted in another video that the EK-50 has a very good keybed.
The EK-50 keybed is comparable to the PSR-S975. Well-hinged and readily expressive. I'm not a big fan of the box-like Casio keys. Just a preference. Nothing personal.
Thank u so much for your dedicated effort and informations.. buying keyboard is my dream from my childhood since 20years... I love it.. but i can't able to buy due to family situation.. your videos only satisfying me.. thank u brother
what a great video, thanks !
Excellent comparison.
hey there Jeremy.. i just got the psr-ew410.. it says it has lesson mode but i cant find anything in the manual.. am i missing something here?? how do i activate it???
Excellent comparison. I like how you identify and differentiate each variables. New subscriber here.
really thanks alot! this helped me to choose keyboard which is suit me finally.
I'm a new subscriber. I enjoyed this video because I'm wanting to buy a keyboard and your explanations were extremely helpful. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
I like this video, for its honesty. I get sick form favorising yamaha synths. Can you do comparising with yamaha modx6 and korg cross2. Also compare yamaha genos with korg pa4x (but please consider that pa4x is two years older). Thank you.
Can you create midifiles in any of these keyboards and take it out on a pen and edit using a software like cakewalk or sonar and play back on the kbd
Excelente comparing!!
Korg gets 1 point from me, so it wins :) Btw, korg supports an amplified microphone input trough the audio in jack...
This is a comprehensive and honest opinion. Thanks
Thanks buddy. Do subscribe if you haven't done so.
Any recommendations for good monitor headphones?
Hello Jeremy .. Id like to know the difference between the roland bk3 and ex30 please.
Top review bro, tnx
Hi Jeremy, what about comparing Korg EK50 vs the new Yamaha PSR-E473?
Thank you for your video. I bought the Korg EK50L. Sounds and Styles are perfect for my playing. Speakers are extremely nice and sound clear. Play Mp3 and audio work well for me. Anyway, Korg is a great investment.
Have fun!
Terima kasih Jeremy
Haz más videos así, esta bien equilibrado la comparación, gracias
i am confused that which one is better casio ctx 8000in or casio ctk 6300in??
I wonder how you can control the modulation on the YAMAHA... There is no modulation wheel, and the knobs can't be used to control the modulation, so...
Hi Jeremy, can Korg Ek-50 edit style. like casio ct x series? thank you.
Now this is a great review, thank you very much. Just a suggestion, please add another round. Keybed quality and "feel". Thanks!!
Hi Jeremy !
Did you delete some videos from your channel ?
I can't find again the video where you have played each style of the PSR-E463, only by applying chords with intro style.
This was the video where you have asked people to recognize the real song which has inspired each style.
Do you remember .?
Hi Fantomas! I have checked. The video is still there.
Is in Casio CT X 5000 and CT X 8000-9000 have same depth of sound and instrument tone ?
