Morrie thank you so much for coming to my rescue. I was 77 last week and bought a yamaha e463, I have never played an instrument before and your videos are just what i need. Best wishes from Scotland.
I like the way you explain and then show the procedures. So when you show, because of the explanation, I completely understood what you were showing. Another GREAT video.
Indeed! If you look at a bio he's a professional tutor with huge experience in training. Even I know by heart all the mechanics of entry level Yamaha keyboards I like to listen to this explanation to learn how to talk in the simple terms about complex subjects so everyone understands. It's so entertaining.
Another revelation to me, style volume has been a pain but now I know how to ontrol it without having to go through all the parameters under functions, thanks Morrie!
Hi Morrie.Thank you for this very useful tutorial on Live Control, especially the information on the volume control of the Style. I like to play waltz music on my E463 keyboard but sometimes find the Style volume can be too overpowering and smothers out the volume of my chosen voice. 👍👍
it is really wonderful explanation, how you speak English very very clear and also any one can understand, please make more videos as i bought e 463 beginning to learn about the keyboard thanks a lot my dear SIR
Hi Morrie, we bought a used Yamaha psr 463… never took lessons yet… kids were playing around with it during the holidays and now it does not work. Unplugged it and turned it on and off… still does not work…. Any tips? …. Please help… we live in the country/outside the city
Morrie , Thank you ,thank you for sharing all your knowledge about this keyboard I would like to ask to show me something that you may think I'm silly asking an experienced musician .I like you to play the following style files on this keyboard using the rock n roll, jive , waltz and foxtrot ,not playing lead with your right hand only vaping instead, to give me an idea as to how to keep the beat since I am a beginner and haven't started playing lead as you do ,I am using only the auto accompaniment ,playing the keyboard and singing at home with my family ,hope you don't think that I have gone off my head , it would really be appreciated Thank you and God bless have a nice day
Gerard , I am not familiar with the word "vaping" in a musical sense. What is that ? To me vaping is smoking an E-cigarette. It would help me help you if you sent me the names of some of the songs you sing along with your keyboard. I always assumed there were a lot of people out there who sing along with their E463 keyboard without playing the lead.
@@morriereece5007 I'm so sorry Morrie , I ment vamping { like strumming on a guitar} you must have had a good laugh . you could sing any of your songs that you sing, because you have the same taste of music that I have . I have a E463 which I bought 5 months ago , I'm an absolute beginner ,I just want to see how you keep the timing with your right hand not playing lead or scales only chords when playing with the auto accompaniment ,any of Elvis , Buck Owens, Merle Haggard . I hope I have not confused you Thank you for your quick reply
@@gerardreneaux690 Gerard....do you live in France, or is your family French ? If so....what's a nice French boy like you doing listening to Buck Owens and Merle Haggard ???!!! 😎 I'd be happy to put up some Buck Owens and Merel Haggard and Elvis songs for you to sing along with.
@@morriereece5007 Morrie I am an Anglo Indian and I live in Chennai a city in India. At present most of them have migrated to Australia , England and Canada so I think I told everything about myself and why I like this type of music ,because I was brought up with this music Cheers and God bless
@@gerardreneaux690 I grew up listening to nothing but country western music. I was born 77 years ago in the very southern tip of Texas, land of the long horned steers and cowboys. All my relatives in Texas were cowboy ranchers and wore big boots and big Stetson cowboy hats. My rich uncle wore a $1000 Stetson cowboy hat….everywhere. He never took it off. He bred and raised cattle called Santa Gertrudis, He crossed the famous Brahman bulls, which he imported from India, with an American Shorthorn cow. He was my “rich uncle”.
Morris this is a great video. I have a E463 keyboard but I did not know anything about the live contol. How can i watch all your lessons. Do you have a website. I live in canada. My province is Alberta.
