Great Video Jake 🤩✨🤩 This video proves that you can not go super short on a hair system. The end result was awful, their was a clear line on the back sides. Ideally you need to have at least 2 inchs of hair on the system and all over the head for it to blend.
Why do you care to know how his girlfriend feels about it? Should how she feels about it, influence his decision? Do you think her girlfriend's friends ask her to do a video with him, asking him how he feels about her wearing make up? or push up bras? or getting her body hair removed? I don't think so. We as men should stop seeking approval for taking steps to elevate ourselves.
@@Jay-yy7uk you want me to not care what people think? OK I'll start. I don't care what you think. I care about her perspective, not what she thinks about me. As per my original comment.
I enjoyed this video because I wear my hair almost as short. I generally like it. However, the sides of the system need to be ordered a little longer to blend it down into your own bio side hair. That would make a world of difference believe me. Secondly, I'm a big fan of light density. This very short style is perfect to give the illusion of the scalp showing through is very realistic. I know there will be those of you that don't agree with me, but less (density) is better. Otherwise you're looking too fake. Thanks Jake... good stuff!
This can be done but not so easy and it will not last as long as the normal hair system length people typically get. It helps if you actually have thinner hair than this guy has on the sides and back. Also, It would help to have lighter/light brown or blonde bio hair and the topper should have been thinner or thinned out more on the sides and back and also kept a teeny little bit longer on the sides and back and slightly shorted in order to make it blend. It could be done but this instance it was too thick on the sides and back coupled with it already being cut down too short on the sides/back before it was blended on the sides/back. It's helpful to have a #1 guard all around the sides and back with maybe a little bit of #2 up near the top of the sides/back were it meets the piece. You'll notice how this particular topper/hair system near the edges are more dense/clumpy looking which gives off a more dark appearance around the edges. That needs thinned out or is simply too dense to begin with.
Is there any way that a man can wear a female wig with human hair? I have always wanted to have long hair, but most hair systems are short. I also have hair loss on the sides of my head, so long hair might cover it up.
It's too bad they didn't do this in reverse. Start with longer then go shorter and shorter. Then they could see exact point where you'd want to stop cutting. Would love to see this same guy with the hair twice as long as it was. And 3 times as long. I'm thinking it would have looked really good somewhere in between.
Short hair tends to dry out faster and starts looking like hay , it’s not really advised to go that short, hair systems tend to get more course looking the shorter it’s cut
Hi jake, if money is not an issue, would you recommand trying a Hair transplant first, then if it's not satisfying taking the hair system road ? Thanks
The problem with short hair like that is you have to constantly be on it…..because within a week the hair is gonna start to grow and it will be noticeable very easily.
It's a stupid idea I think, as lost hairs will show up so much. The way to do short hair is not have a base at all. You add glue directly to your scalp where you want hair & sprinkle short hairs onto it.
Hey Jake, do you have an instagram or something? If not, you should start one. Otherwise: I saw your video about snowboarding/training with a hair system, but what about jetskiing? I'm getting a hybrid lace/poly system coming in soon and every summer I go jetskiing (its not Summer and I'll have another system by then probably), so is there a style of hair system you recommend specifically for activities like jet skiing? Preferably ones that overlap in utility with heavy daily sweating.
I partially agree with you there. I do not think it looks artificial. It just needs longer sides to blend. I agree with you however, shedding and does not last as long.
The ventilation of the system plays a big role in how short you can go, for example a poly system with injected skin the hair wont spike up like that, as opposed to v loops which will tend to stand up if you go shorter! Check this link for a better example: ua-cam.com/video/x2PAI-JlJ5k/v-deo.html Keep up the good work
@@jakeowens1253 flat knotted will mostly just lay flat, you will have to use styling products to make anything of it. It is the better option if you want to go really short and avoid what happened to this guy in the video, or if you just like to use your hair brushed forward, with bangs for example! Either way, you will probably have to order it as a custom order, and right now lace customs are very very hard to come across and will take a long time to make, as most of the lace systems were done in North Korea and they re borders are closed, so i advice you to look into poly with injected skin, thin skin (0.03 mm wont work with injected skin as its too thin, only works with v-loops ventilation), so you will have to go with 0.06 or thicker
@@ab.dossantos1047 ah, gotcha, yea I was seeing lace hard to find right now. Was looking into the .03 thin skin due to availability, but will check that .06 as you suggested. Thanks so much for your help and advice👍 I sure hope the industry returns to normal soon, damn you Covid 😆
I respectfully disagree. The system just needs little longer sides to blend down over the natural hair. Trust me, I do it and it looks fine. I agree the sides of the unit are way to short so it does not blend properly. The stylist tried his/her best to blend it with the clippers but the unit sides were just way too short. ☺️
Definitely an interesting decision to go so short. The good part about all this is that ANYTHING is better than being bald. Even a rainbow clown hat would be forgivable
That's the worst hair system I've ever watched short is not the way to go it looks so obvious that line around his head looks terrible there's no blending with short hair impossible

Jake please do an interview with your girlfriend for us single guys on how she feels about the hair system from her perspective 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@Fagoooooo Yes haha but it would still be cool to see her talk about it.

Going That short requires the sides to be down to a skin fade
My system is also very short, but i order the hair a little longer so that the stylist can blend better
Also, another question, what's your opinion on hair type? Indian Remy vs Euro vs etc, and which do you use?
Is there any way that a man can wear a female wig with human hair?
I have always wanted to have long hair, but most hair systems are short. I also have hair loss on the sides of my head, so long hair might cover it up.
Any idea what exact system is this? what site can it be found on ?
I accidentally cut one part of my system very short and now it's so spikey! I need help on how to fix it 😭

No, I’d do the opposite.
Hey man, thanks for sharing! Where in Utah is the best place to get a hair piece?
He almost has that Terminator 1 look.
I need this exact type of hair system
The problem with short hair like that is you have to constantly be on it…..because within a week the hair is gonna start to grow and it will be noticeable very easily.
What bond (liquid) do you use ?
That is a very bad hair cut for a hair system and it stands out like a sore thumb .

I deleted my Instagram and Facebook for this year. Cool stuff! You’ll have a blast jet skiing
Looks artificial...plus when it starts shedding it's done, probably short shelf life

@@chrise438 yea, for sure its look better with some blending. Pretty cool how short you can get away with systems

for lace flat knotted ventilation would make the hair lay flat, unlike the example in the video

omg.... no no no!!!!!!!!!!!!
damn that person should never ever apply a hair system
Well, clearly that hair color and texture did not match the recipient. The fullness was also poor so this is a bad review.
hhhmmm - doesnt look good this short.
That's a bad job I have ever seen , WOWSERS!!!
Screams out FAKE. It looks terrible.
