Symptoms
In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
Male-pattern baldness
Women tend to lose hair along the part.
Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.
This seems to be the only channel on UA-cam where the owner 'Jake' is authentic and not acting or putting on a show... It makes watching the videos a pleasure.
Thanks for having me on buddy!! Was so happy to chat about the system and help other people make the decision 👊🏻
my pleasure brother. i appreciate you so much
Hey Kyle! You have killer mindset around this. Thanks for sharing. Question: do you use any cream for your psoriasis? I have a bit as well so I’d love to hear what you’re using/doing.
Kyle, I loved your attitude in this video. You had the exact same journey I did, and I am also one of those people who pretty much tells everyone "thanks, it's fake!" when I get a compliment on my hair. Haha!
I love the fact that hair systems are at they point where telling someone usually goes along the lines of "Fuck offf... No you're not, that is obviously real"
transplant can never give you a full head of hair. Best option would be a high quality transplant at the front - that would give you a youthful hairline and the all important temple points. Being a transplant it would be slightly thin which is great because it will look super natural, then get a system on top. A system that is 360 degree surrounded by bio hair would be literally undetectable. It solves the limitations of both - you get the density that a transplant can not give you and you get a 100% natural looking frontal hairline with temple points (which are very important) which you might get with a system
Jake love your videos bro!! I appreciate what you do for all of us needing hair!!
your so welcome jason
I got my first hair system back in February with hair club and let me just say yes I felt oh so confident but at work going from wearing a hat everyday to a full head of hair all of a sudden it didn’t go good at work to the point I had to find a new job I just suddenly was having problems at work …cruel world …
I’m really sorry you had to go through that makes me so angry what business is it to anyone if one does what makes them happy
head up king. only onto better things
I mean why didn’t it go good.
@@juanbonilla1006 the first hair system they gave me was crap..it had a receded hair line and that alone was enough to give it away not too mention they took it upon themselves to put a fuckij colic in the system which only made it more a give away you could see the damn lace ..hair club fucked my life up
@@juanbonilla1006 because of them and that fuckin hair system I was made a target at work ..one of the best money making jobs I could’ve ever asked for gone
Hey Jake, thanks for the video. Love that Kyle spoke about psoriasis and sensitive scalp at 15:30 - he mentioned one of your videos informed him on which ingredients or products were best for him. Do you know which video or products he is referring to? Would love to look into it as I have similar scalp sensitivity to him
Looks like he has a muskrat napping on his head. It amazes me that more guys don't understand that correct density is the most important aspect of hair systems.
You would think it look natural by now with all his experience. Yes, less density so some hair could fall a bit on his hairline. Jake's hair looks great here.
Yeah the hairline is too uniform. I see this a lot
As a long-curly-haired guy with psoriasis can confirm I spend far too much time and money on my f*cking hair🤣You guys both look great, so I'm glad to see you're happy and confident enough to smile through what could be seen as vulnerabilities.
Started thinning at 23 and didn't do anything cus only I could tell as my hair was stupid thick. Noticeable temple recession at 28 and a mini bald spot at 30 finally got me on finasteride. Halted loss for a couple of years but then it started back up. 33 now and just bought a system and about to go get it cut in. Good timing I guess cus I quit half a year ago to travel and renovate the house so I'll go into the new job with a bit of old confidence......hopefully.
These vids are mostly what made me decide on it. Had never really thought about going the system route before.
yo his hairsystem and style is exactly what i want . can u please share which one exactly he have
If you loose a limb, people get prostehtics. If you loose your teeth, people get dentures. If a woman wants breast impants, she gets them. All of these are normal things, and no different for hair systems. As they say, haters are gonna hate, dont take them seriously.
Hey Jake!! What’s your opinion about Chuck Alferi hair system?
Can you put wax and gel in it
Man that’s way cheaper than what i was quoted from hair club
Why is lordhair so expensive
Anyone know what the difference between a hair topper and a full cap is? Google no know. Cheers :)
Hair topper is just on the top full cap also covers the sides of you head also .
@@thegman2658Yes, thats correct. I wear a full cap since I don't grow hair very well on the sides, and gives me the option of long hair, which this old hippie loves ❤
Yo Jake, reckon these systems will be fine with motorcycles helmet?. Love from UK brother
I wear a Cap to the Gym and sweat big time and always been fine, I think if you can jump in swimming pools you can wear a helmet
What’s the cheapest and easiest way to get into the hair system family?
I dont like my look bald also!
Do you guys see the difference in the system being undetectable? Kyle’s is undetectable because he doesn’t have crazy recession at the sides. Jake’s hair is so receded at the sides that it doesn’t make sense for him to have a straight hairline. He needs to either get some implants at the sides; or choose a system with a receding hairline.
Even hair transplant on temple piks
Looks good but i think he needs to shear and thin it a bit instead of worrying about shedding in the shower? Thinner=more realistic
Jake have you been drinking?
no. i dont drink alcohol.
With all due respect, Jake's hair system is on point and while i'm happy for his guest, his hair system looks like that bird Nicholas Cage wears on his head. The guest should chose a lower density system and grade out the hairline with tweezers and cut some of the hairs near the hairline for that uneven/natural look.
Exactly, in fact I don't think Jake's is that super great either.. he's just covered the hairline. This is my biggest issue with hair systems, the god damn hairline. I rarely see ones with a natural-looking hairline, it's often artificial/fake looking, too perfect/straight/dense. If the hairline doesn't look natural then it's a fail overall imo. Which sucks for me, as my issue is a receding hairline.. the rest of my hair is thick and full as fuck. All I would need is a front strip hair system, but then having a fake-ass looking hairline? People would think all my hair is fake then. I'd be better off getting a hair transplant quite frankly, probably an excellent candidate so will consider that in the future.. for now, just maintain what I got and prevent/slow down further hair loss.
@@tqsuited realistic hairlines can be achieved. You have to find the right type of system, hair style, density to get it right - that’s why many people start off accepting the higher cost of a salon in the beginning to get the look right. Then once they know what they need to do they’re more confident in doing it DIY.
I agree with you. I was a Hair Club client for a few years. I quit and ordered my piece from China through their NYC office and it turned out to be the same quality. My cost went down tremendously and to be frank, I did a better job styling my hair and my wife cut my new piece when it arrived to my liking. That was 20 years ago and I am still a client of my Chinese supplier. @@donragnar8430
I think part of the trick is to keep others distracted by nicely shaped and/or combed/tidied eyebrows like we see here, otherwise the hairline seems a bit blockish. (Did anyone else see a resemblance here to a younger Joey Fat1? - sp. intentional)
Honestly some of jakes videos he looks great and others ones its just obvious hes wearing a system. This is one of those videos where they both look very obvious. Too much thickness on top. Sometimes that sweep looks great with jake other times though, this.
My biggest thing is the hairline, it is the giveaway everytime. I see a lot a lot of people wear their hair up with a system which shows off that fake hairline. Seems to me some style of bangs is basically essential to pulling off the look
1. good feedback. now here's mine.
2. i was making videos nearly EVERY DAY.
3. This video was made immediately after install. you're not talking about thickness, you're talking about volume.
4. Volume is higher because this was installed the day before this video. everyone knows that after a permed hair system gets installed, and you cut hair, the volume is way to much.
5. I show every single day, not when im looking only my best.
6. its a journey, its an evolution.
7. sometimes the systems have more hair than you order. Guess what? im not gunna rip it off and waste a few hundred bucks. it'll chill out in a week.
8. Have a great day.
I genuinely appreciate the response man. You do a lot for this community, I'm very close to doing this for the first time, you just worry about it looking fake
LOOKS FAKE
TOO DENSE
Your hairline is to strong. The system you use is to dense and the hair is to long. Doesn't look natural...
Bro just save up for a transplant...
Some hair loss is too far gone for a proper transplant and the hair system is the only option that works for them
I was going to and then realized the transplant doesn’t really bring it back to how you think. I met people that got a transplant and im like “thank god I didn’t go through with it” also takes 2 years to FULLLLYY work.
Also many other reasons
If I had a dollar for every "bro just" sentence I saw on here...
