As I had been a victim of store/truck stop in Houston Texas I had been held up by a African American. My manager had been away for his son's birthday party. I had quite the job and drove to New York crossing the mighty river and kept driving in my hyndae excell.
Not just the female cop. The male cop's cover was blown too, since he was with her. Very bad decision making, sucks to have your cover blown and that project basically blown up but they could've easily both been killed. Not worth it.

He totally missed the mini van by an inch so hits the jeep in the engine spinning it around...then hit the red truck in the driver door but not head on since it hit the jeep toward the front. One blink I think woulda changed everything. That's crazy scary. Amazing what 1 blink of an eye can change

this show brings back a lot of memories for me and my dad no matter what i was doing i was 16 doing my own thing i always carved out time with this show glad i found it great show and memories
Boy let me tell ya...this show was a MASSIVE part of my childhood. Some of my earliest memories (I'm 29) was watching this on FOX with my dad and mom with the popcorn flowing...good times. Really one of the only things my dad and I did together was watch this show whenever it was on...or COPS😂
Completely agree. The dude really needed to just accept he fucked or fight it in court instead of doing all that. His behavior was ridiculous for someone meant to uphold the law.

Two teens killed in the blink of an eye over a stolen lawnmower. They had their whole lives ahead of them. And just like they, they lost them because of something so trivial and minor.

The Texas cop pulled the car over for a broken tail light. What he doesn't know is the car is full of narcotics for sale. The cop is killed but the three get caught and get life. How do I know this? I met a man and his wife in Arizona. We were at a money making seminar. This man WAS a cop, about 5 miles down the highway when it happened. He said the cop who lost his life was big and tough but got surprised and died. He also told me HAD this cop NOT NOTICED the tail light out he would have noticed and he's certain he'd have been the one killed. After that he quit the force and moved to Phoenix to start fresh. RIP Sir
The police officer who was murdered was Constable Darryl Lunsford. His murder took place in Refugio, TX on January 23rd, 1991. You can get more info on his case via a quick Google search.
I CLEARLY REMEMBER the video clip of 22:24 the one with the Black police Major. He was racially profiled!!! They stopped him and initially lied and said that he hadn't used a turn signal and then changed it to say that his license plate had a border that partially obscured the name of the county. The state and a judge had already ruled that that was not a reason to stop and the local cops kept doing it. That officer was part of a drug interdiction group and not just a highway patrol officer/ deputy. In the end the jury found that even though they didn't believe the cops for the stop the Black guy had done something wrong by snatching the license off of the clipboard. It was a misdemeanor and he went on with his career. This was just one of the MANY cases that those cops were investigated for.
