This show brings back so many memories. I used to sneakily turn my TV on as a kid and this was the only thing on at a ridiculous hour in the UK. Used to watch 2 or 3 episodes 😂
If I remember correctly Stu Mandel now works (or has worked) for fox11 as their eye in the sky! I recognized his name from so many of the LA car chases I've watched
Stringers have their own day job. They get the footage up close and personal. Better than the Police Dashcams and News and Police Helicams. But it is a very risky task whether it's a chase, rescue, or Riot.
Awesome to know. A lot of people think that stringers and storm chasers only work that one job. In an interview with a severe weather enthusiasts podcast; a storm chaser named Scott Peake revealed he works as an Uber driver. Scott is a member of the Basehunters Storm Chasers team alongside three other young men named Colt Forney, Isaac Pato, and Kevin Rolfs as well as Kevin's dad Harland Rolfs. They were in Joplin, Missouri at the time of the EF5 tornado that devastated the city on May 22nd, 2011 and tracked the storm for the National Weather Service office in Springfield, Missouri as well as Missouri Highway Patrol, Jasper County Sheriff's Department and the Joplin Police and Fire departments. Shortly after the tornado dissipated at 6:14 PM Central Time; police and fire units began search and rescue efforts. Scott, Colt, and Isaac began to helped out by rescuing a woman trapped in the rubble of her house and used a door as a stretcher to load the woman into the back of a pick-up truck and get her to a hospital. Soon after they met up with Kevin and his dad and continued to help with relief efforts. Kevin and his dad helped a man and his infant son who had been injured in the storm. They decided to take them to a hospital because the baby had a bad cut on his head. As they crested the hill that hid St. John's Regional Medical Center from their view they saw something that they couldn't believe: St. John's Regional Medical Center looked like someone had taken nine bombs into the building, planted one bomb on each floor of the building, and detonated them simultaneously. Kevin described having a feeling of utter helplessness seeing St. John's in its ruined state.
Fun fact: in Ohio, shooting at a cop is attempted murder. Shooting a cop is considered aggravated attempted murder and comes with the works, including the death penalty.
Whoever is the owner of the white sedan, you left your lights on. Oh wait, wrong show. Anyways, Stu Mundel is now a helicopter pilot for KTTV Channel 11 in Los Angeles.

that Rio de Jeniro story makes me cry, you know the gunfire that you heard was them murdering anyone who lived with him! that is horrible, you can see it on his face. they want you to resist so that they can shoot you, the bounty hunters say it, the story that i saw the man was a bounty hunter for nine years and claims that he had killed over thirty people by that time
Cincinnati doesn't have a helicopter squadron that you have to ask media helicopters for help? could it be that there is quite a lot of shit going on in the city politically?

How nice 👍.
Loved this show as a kid and still do lol
I watched it every day I came home from school
Love Sheriff John Bunnell
Me too its so entertaining.
I found the show randomly on UA-cam and I can’t never pass a day without watching an EP lol
Same with me.
stu mundell has gone on to be a helicopter reporter for fox and others, covering police chases in L.A. and has a dedicated following
Was with KCBS 2/KCAL 9 before moving to KTTV Fox 11 LA
I have watched a lot of those episodes. Stu is awesome
@@DarkPCTV To my knowledge, yes, he does.
I really love his work, and I had no idea that he had humble beginnings as an independent cameraman.
I used to love watching these shows as a kid, the narrators voice and lines cracked me up. "He just bought himself a one way ticket, to jail!!' LOL.
Worlds wildest one liners!
God I love this show 😂

Stu....the man, the machine, The Legend😊
Hahahaha
22:55 I love how they want to see this kid get his ass kicked than make an escape.
These two have some sense, at least.
@@LunaHeartnet Guy even helped close the door.
I loved this show as a kid!
As a fully grown man in my 30s... It's terrifying 😅
As you should be. As a soldier and a nurse I saw things noone ever should.

Let me correct myself, his last name is spelled Mundel!
Holy shit you’re right! He covered that wild chance a few months ago where the dude stole like 3 different cars and ran threw a guys house
Stu Mundel is a legend in LA.
2:53 that clean Foxbody though!
These shows are really great
Pontiac Bonneville was such a good car, they had incredible power and the insides were laid out pretty nice!

Way to go Stu.

When I was a kid I used to get him and John Walsh confused 😂
I had one of those white Pontiac Bonnevilles from the first chase. Loved that car, mine was supercharged with a smaller pulley and it hauled a**

Good for him.
This show was unhinged and awesome
Funny how he says Lounes CO but they are in Indianapolis I70 and Post Road. I70 doesn’t go anywhere near Georgia
Yeah, it should have been Interstate 75 as that particular highway goes straight through Georgia and links Atlanta with Chattanooga and Nashville.
Sheriff John Bunnell walked so UA-cam crime channels could run, a huge part of our childhoods lol
Now I want him to narrate these channels lol.
But yes he inspired so much.
Love these! Thanks!
