Hey, guys! So just to clarify, this video is a compilation of 4 previous videos - ‘Gran Turismo Meme Cars Explained’, ‘Gran Turismo’s Most Infamous Cars’, ‘The Cars You Only Know BECAUSE of Gran Turismo’, and ‘The Icons of Gran Turismo’. I decided to compile all of them into one video to create a sort of Gran Turismo car encyclopaedia. This is the reason why I never talked about the same car in multiple videos, even though I got many requests to do so - the Pikes Peak Escudo, for example, could’ve featured in all of these videos if I wanted it to. Although this video appears to mark the end of the ‘Memorable Cars’ series, this doesn’t mean that I’m going to stop making videos covering certain types of cars in Gran Turismo. I’ve received many comments from people wanting me to talk about specific models that have some importance in Gran Turismo, and I have plenty more of my own picks as well. 4 videos over the span of a year is hardly a regular series, but these have been some of favourite ones to put together. So, although I’m taking a break from the ‘Memorable Cars’ videos for now, keep your eyes peeled for a season 2 sometime in the future!
I have "Cars That I´ve Bought Because of Gran Turismo" xD I was inspired to buy both my Alfa GTV and Honda CRX because of their appereances in the games x3
I like to think that roflwaffle only boots up gt7 for the first time in months, to get the thumbnails for his videos and to not touch the game after that point lol

Racing against that cobra in the gt4 1000 miles series is one of my favorite racing game memories ever! So much fun to have a goliath like that to go up against for such a long time
I was set to watch this all at once. Only after 18 mins did I realize this is 3 HOURS. I will definitely watch it all but not in one sitting right now xD

Would absolutely love a video on your favorite oddball JGTC and Super GT cars. The Gran Tourismo videos it what I initially subbed for but your deep dives into super GT are now some of my favorite pieces of content on the platform
Lmao, that's actually crazy and I never would've guessed those cars counted as such. Does that mean you can do the same with the SLR in GT4? Either way, that's got to be the biggest meme in the entire series that nobody talks about.
Oooh, Roflwaffle changed the introduction. This feels cursed, but i like it😅 Also, i'm sure i' going to love this compilation, as i'm a big fan of your work, and know that you can make amazing content
To be fair, I believe Project Gotham Racing 2 makes the TVR Speed 12 more memorable due to the fact that it is the reward car for achieving all platinum in the Kudos World Series.
That McLaren countdown is a bane, for certain. I just beat it (for the first time) last year, but luckily I was playing on an emulator, so I literally just set a save state with 3 seconds left on the countdown, then loaded it whenever I failed lol
The Ford GT has to be the greatest example of a car design that was future proof, it looks old but modern, still fits today, could be released in any era with very little change and still slaps like your Granny when you're spying through her good cupboards instead of in bed! That's why it has the best body design as the GT God himself says.
Setsuna Yuki's Minolta 88C-V on Gran Turismo 4 Spec II Mod and Gran Turismo 6 Spec II Mod sounded very close to real life counterparts. Anyway, i still remembered the infamous Speedster Cup and 206 Cup that are ridiculously hard to complete even on GT4 SPEC II MOD.
1:13:22 the nissan r390 gt1 was memeroable for me because of the test course race in a professional championship. as a kid i didnt know how to change the gear ratios (or what that would do) and the nissan would be just much faster and i couldnt catch up in the f1 car, so i tried desperately to get one but never did. i think it was locked behind a super license event (of course 1/4 chance) that i couldnt get because i sucked
There is one thing that I'll say quickly that I really hope that implements into the future and it's a car that deserves a little bit of spotlight in games and it's from mazda. To make it simple is the mazda mx3 that i'm talking about and it's like if a alfa romeo 147 gta and a honda civic had a child and they drop it as a baby. Is a really cool car. Also good video as always man.

Note: it was the 1st throwback to a racecar from a foreign series. Funny enough, Ford and Castrol were partners in the NHRA with John Force (Funny Car division) at one point. Brad's Tom's car was easily the best throwback in 2024, alongside Brennan Poole (NXS 44) with a Kyle Petty Hot Wheels Cup Pontiac tribute, Taylor Gray (Trucks 23) with a Mark Green Exxon Superflo NXS Chevrolet tribute and Daniel Suarez (Cup 99) with an Adrian Fernandez Quaker State/Tecate CART tribute.
In GT7 you start the single player by completing a series of "menu" challenges, each awarding you 3 different cars. But people apparently hate it because the vast majority of those cars aren't very useful in the game.

Personally the R33 version of the Nismo GTR LM is one of my favorite racing cars in the series, mainly because all the GTR Skylines in GT1 were the fastest cars in the game when fully tuned, also being quite fun to use if tuned to steer properly. I also loved it in GT2, especially because you had to buy the RM for the road car version to obtain the LM version and it was still a beast of a car with full tuning (though not as ridiculous as in GT1 with its fantasy level tuning upgrades), and most importantly, I always considered the R33 chassis to be more beautiful than that of the then new R34's, which were understandably given more attention in GT2. Maybe PD will still add it to GT7 in a future update, it certainly is an icon car of the series, and a beautiful machine to look at and drive.
if there is one car that jumps into my mind when i think "gran turismo" is Castrol Toyota Supra - especialy the one in dealership in GT2 and GT3. It's also my favourite car in the game, which is something considering i'm a huge fan of non- race cars, often with no/limmited tuning.
