I would rather brake down in the outback in a gen 2 pajero and fix it myself than a new paj needing a laptop and science degree
Old is Best
Personally i like the old one the most when it comes to driving visibility, especially on off road.
Definitely the old one. It looks like it means business. The new one doesnt look like it belongs out there.
Definitely the old one with less sensors
Huub Vlogs you’re just saying that Bcs you have a sticker on the old one!!!
New one is just like a plastic scrap. The old are always legendary pure japanese machine
I love old pajero it best because I had one it a 2004 model pajero shogun 2.8L turbo intercooler still king mate
2nd gen rocks. I've got a 96 myself. 24 years young
Nice. Love it
Perfect
I got a 99 Lwb 2.8 and it’s a beast! Second gen all day man
Awesome. Send me a pic on insta Stuie’s Adventures 4x4
@@stuiescampingadventures don’t have Instagram or f book mate.
One thing a lot of people don't understand is cameras don't do hills justice. Fun to watch entertaining
I agree
Love both. But man those 2nd gen Pajero rim designs were something else. mature, yet elegant designs and fit the pajero's look perfectly. really wish we had those rims in modern SUVs.
i got 2 paj's have a look at my paj wheels on the white pajero
Amazon disk
Old is best definitely because I have an 1998 nl pajero
In east Malaysia, theres a lot of 1st and 2nd gen pajeros can be seen, especially at the countryside. I just hopping I could own one.
Old is gold
It's funny I just did a search on NM vs NP. I know the differences for the suspension, but just want to see which has better off road capabilities. I'm leaning towards early NP but replacement parts are a bit more
Had a 96 3.00v6.....loved that super girl...went wherever I wanted to go....only minor oil leaks....no other issue....wasn't bad on gas mileage either
Cool brother
A 2nd gen without fail, always had a love for them and never gotten stuck in one, unlike all the Toyota's, Nissan's and Holden's I used to go out bush with 😅
Good answer😀😀😀
@@stuiescampingadventures haha you can never go wrong with them! I'm looking at a SWB to restore back its former glory soon, fingers crossed the deal goes through. Just don't know how I feel about the old 2.6 4 banger 😅
great video
I rather the old ones I have a 1989 Mitsubishi Pajero 3L V6 amazing old rig it's been very reliable hasn't let me down yet
Yeah mines pretty good until the weekend. Might need some spring and shocks maintenance. Wait for the next video to come out. I nearly rolled STORMY
Te old ever.. i hace once!!
Old is the best
Old one is a pajero. New one is a pajero sport. Not really the same level.
That being said, i wouldnt mind having the older one, it was my childhood dream car.
I love the older cars. When I lift the bonnet I have some idea!!!
Where is the new Pajero in this video ????
Great Adventure
Old Definitely!!
1996 mitsubishi pajero 👌👌👌
Good choice
The 2016 Pajero Sport was a completely different car to a 2016 Pajero. The Pajero Sport was just a re-badged Challenger which was based on the Triton
I would prefer the spare tire located at the back than under the SUV much easier to dismount much lager interior
Amo el Montero 96 máquina motor, año, calidad ,quisiera poder tener una lamentablemente en chile quedan muy pocas en buenas condiciones y las q están buenas están muy caras
2 titans
Hey great video , where was the footage taken? Looks a great location to practice.
About a hour from Adelaide. Think has been closed now thou
Ganda pala pajero luma at bago pwede gawing pang araro talo pa kalabaw, pwede ng taniman palay ung dinaanan.
Oo naman!
Design wise is pajero, engine performance the modern one
driving 97 3.5 everyday still .
New one also not so bad
Got a 99 swb 24valve 3000 wide Arch .still a head turner
Yeah that would be my head, lol
Is it worth it to keep 96 Pajero in 2021?
I hope it won't ask for too much of maintenance EVERYTIME I take for a ride?
I would be keeping it. Costs Bugga all to keep it going
We have pajeros 90 models and they still as reliable as ever, perfect for Timor Leste terrain ...
I've got a 98 NL paj, i used to have an NP pajero exceed some years ago.
Definitely the old NL ftw.
The new paj sport is probably a good car but too many electronics to be reliable doing tough trucks regularly.
The old cars are pretty cool
I seem to be fixing a lot lately but that’s ok
Getting ready for the next big trip into the out back. Where r u located?
@@stuiescampingadventures I'm in Bunbury WA.
I do all my own mechanical work so yeah constantly working on mine as well. I prefer it this way, biggest advantage is if something does go wrong out bush I know exactly what it is and what needs to be done to get us going again.😏
I try but my work kills me so I have to pay
With lockers in both the vehicles , which one do you think would be more capable ?
Good question, I will get back to you on that one
@@stuiescampingadventures can you tell me what's the crawl ratio of the old Pajero ?
@@shankarwain4289 I actually don’t know. I know it’s different Bcs it’s petrol and not diesel . My mates cars are like tractors.
@@shankarwain4289 It depends on weather the 3.0 V6 is installed or the 3.5 V6.
So, either 1,925:1 or 1,9:1.
Don´t overestimate the value of the low-range-gear.
Cheers
Definitely the old one
nice video mate. how did u go with fuel consumtion with the 96 paj?. i got a 3ltr and she drinks faster than my v8. any tips for a less thirsty adventure? cheers.
Hey mate, I have the 3500 petrol. I don't find it too bad tbh. I do drive like an old fart thou. I think I'm getting around 15km/100. Nothing like the Navara at 8.5. I know others are getting worse in their Patrols.
@@stuiescampingadventures thanks for the reply. it seems mine goes through fuel like crazy or the fuel float maybe faulty. 15mins of 4x4ing seems as though it goes through a 1/4 of a tank. gotta be a faulty fuel sender u think?
Mine is nothing like that. A hours drive from Adelaide and all day four wheeling then drive back. Just over a qtr of a tank .
@@stuiescampingadventures ok thats what id think ud get. havnt ran out yet i just keep filling it up when ever it gets to 1/4 left. if its not that i wonder what it could be?
Not sure. Where r u located. We could do a test?
都是好车
The Old of Corse..
That is the old Pajero right? The other one is PAJERO SPORTS, diff suvs
a real off-road vehicle should have 33 or 35 inch wheels, a gearbox with a reducer and a rear axle lock. This is the minimum to define an off-road car, the rest of the cars are toys :)
What the roof rack brand for the second gen?
Home made
I prefer my 1983 lwb 2.5 TDI.
Hwy, what tires/size he running the the Sport? Cheers
Mike has AT on his car. I actually don’t know the size. I will find out
I gotta go with old
Me too. Do you have an old Paj?
2gen are the best. !!!
Old is best no computer box and high tech sensons cant even fix
Should have got someone that could drive off road
Comparing triton wagon (pajero sport) with pajero :-(
That's not a Pajero... That's a Pajero Sport.
Best car forever mitsubishi pajero (old)
Thanks
Old one
Old
I had a 96 Pajero 3.5 exceed good bus.Motor was weak as P..ss
Compared to my 2000 exceed
I don't mind the motor actually, I'm not really trying to break records either. Hope you enjoy your paj mate
@@stuiescampingadventures i probably had a worn out one mate
would not swap my gen2 for a new 1
pajero for short trips, pajero sport for longer ones lol
i prefer mk 2
old 100%
Türk dilində tərcümə
Old one is the best new one sucks for ever 😅
2016 model isnt a real pajero
The Pajero Sport isn´t a real Pajero its a L200 SUV... The Pajero Full it´s another car...And a i always prefer the full one...
New one looks like a toy to me
you might be able to beat yr meat... but you cant beat a gen 2 Pajero
Funny.
