Correction: There was never a V6 diesel in the entire history of the Mitsubishi Pajero to date, the only diesels ever used for the Pajero were the 4D55 (I4 2.3L), 4D56 (I4 2.5L), 4M40 (I4 2.8L), and 4M41 (I4 3.2L).
@@CoachBUGOYChannelShow me one or just an engine code. There was just 2.0 inline carburated, 2.0 turbo inyection and after that all petrol engines were inyected and ofcourse diésel: 2.6 4 inline petrol, v6 3.0 petrol, 2.3 inline diésel and 2.5 inline diesel in the mk1. Mk2 is 2.4 inline petrol, v6 3.0 petrol, v6 3.5 petrol, 2.5 inline diésel and 2.8 inline diésel. Mk3 2.8 and 3.2 diesel are also inline and the last v6 was a 3.8 petrol ínstaled in the mk4. Pajero/shogun/Montero never used diesel v6. I would have made the swap years ago 😁👍🚜💨💨💨🦾
I've got a 3.6L V6 2002 NM Pajero. Absolutely love the vehicle. Plenty of power, plenty of comfort and loads of ability on and off road. I would love the Evo but know that's probably never going to happen. I think the Gen 3 is the best looking of all models followed by the NL Gen 2.5 you have.
Your 1998 should have 4.27s which was way worse then the 94-96 SRs 4.63s. 4.90s are always a nice upgrade. I enjoyed the video! You had some of Leo's video as well. That was with us for some trail riding.
Great video.. learned a coiple things about the Dakar. Here are a few corrections on the information presented: 1. Mitsubishi never offered a V6 diesel in the Pajeros or any of their passenger vehicles 2. 94-96 SR models had the DOHC 6g74 with 4.63 gears 97-00 got the 4.27 gears (SR and Winter Pakcage models had rear lockers) 5. Other world markets for the Gen 2/2.5 had factory 5.3 gears in certain trims 6. 4.90 gears from 2001-2005 Montero Sport AWD with 6g74s, are an upgrade for U.S Monteros.
Ralliart have revive...next should be pajero (hope using mitsubishi's original platform, not base on nissan patrol) and lancer (same woth pajero, using original platform).
Team Mitsubishi Pajero! I've owned the Gen 1, 2 and now the 3.
Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬👊🏿🖤

Haven't heard of any Pajero/Montero ever to come with a Diesel V6 🤔
Where can I see more on the version in the thumbnail?
