      I personally knew a guy in their circle and he told me all about it right after it happened. He even had to testify and give statements.
      I had even briefly met will when he was a bouncer at the peacock and before he started driving taxi.
      I had left Corvallis in 2015 but I likely would have been mixed up in that stuff if I hadn't because we all would have known each other in taxi circles.

You move him into your home with your husband, and he meets someone else and then you do this jealous girlfriend act because he's 'moved on' and then you start making all these demands. The vast majority of sociopaths are VERY “charming”, because they know how to use that charm, weaponize it, draw people in, and it makes people more comfortable & easier to manipulate.
      And then when they DO do something terrible to someone, you see people refusing to believe it, and victims can tend to have a very hard time being believed, even by people they consider friends & loved ones, because all they’ve seen that person be is “the nice guy”, and that can’t reconcile that with what they’re being told is actually happening.

    Final case - that the young woman's body was singled out to be posed in a wheelbarrow at the front of the house like that, revealed motive. The murders were about her. The killer had a personal connection with her, and violent rage against her.
    It took 11 long years, but Pape and Smith finally got justice - they are behind bars, where they belong. Their families' devotion and refusal to face their crimes, offers some clue to how they became two such dangerously entitled young men. They even felt entitled to commit multiple murders.
    My heart goes out to the victims' loved ones. Nut finally, the system came good and the killers were incarcerated for life.

    Will is extremely concerned about his car insurance. Like, life or death levels of concern. 🤔

    This woman(Michelle) seems a bit shady, and a bit cold it seems. But they both had motive, although I cant imagine killing someone, over someone.....😮

  • @ShannonAllen
    @ShannonAllen 4 місяці тому +8

    They're guilty. Nobody else had a motive and they couldn't get rid of the girl knowing that the mother and stepfather knew that those two guys were there going on a hike with the daughter. So they had to get rid of the whole family.

    Reading these comments, most are negative and most are incredibly critical rather than having any kind of empathy or grace. You think, how can these horrific crimes happen, how can people be so cruel, the roles we as a society play in fostering these situations and people. But then you read the comments, and it becomes less and less of a mystery in some regard.
    This pertains to a lot of these videos and it's not just this channel either. There's more blame and hate toward survivors, victims, family, all number of innocent people, rather than at the convicted killers. I really hope this is something I've just started to begin noticing rather than a growing trend from terminally online or out-of-touch people. If this specific cross-section of people were to represent society as a whole, or even a large amount, I'd no longer wonder why or how these cases come to be.
    May all the victims rest in peace, and may all the survivors and those affected find healing.

      I’ve had the same thought. Unfortunately the negative comments seem to get the most likes. I think UA-cam should do what yahoo does and let us see the downvotes side by side. Not having that info is distorting

    After listening to those mothers who lost their children to that monster, I don’t know how anyone can be against capital punishment. How can our justice system be such a failure? This guy raped two women and only did 10 years?!? Absolutely shameful and disgusting

    I am appalled at William Reese. His victims families are the most resilient, beautiful, determined people I have ever seen. God has truly blessed these families to be able to stand strong and determined for justice for their murdered children. These mothers are remarkable. My heart truly broke for Anna. She was ultimately betrayed in the worst way. Will is a monster. What did they even see in this clown? Now watching Becky's horrible story. 😢😢😢😢
