I hadn't heard this song in probably a better part of a decade. I know I used to listen to it over and over because I was in a dark place and needed something to lift me out. I moved on eventually. For years, I couldn't listen to DC because of the introspective pain pervasive throughout their music of that time. Now it's something to lift me up and remember things in a positive way. I don't recall the pains of the past thankfully, but I do remember this songs hopefulness, whether that's it's message to you or not. Keep looking upward, that guiding light is there for you..if you want to see it.

the baseball field at 0:53 brings back so many memories that i actually cried. i remember playing on any kind of field we could find and it didnt matter....i can picture myself jus waiting ther in the dug out for my turn at bat....all the neighborhood kids would come out and play on a field jus like this..i remember being young and taking all day to find something to climb on or jump over...but even when there was nothing...there was always that baseball field........

Been returning to this video multiple times for maybe a decade or so now. Been listening to DC since the beginning and while The Brilliant Dance, Best Deceptions, Sharp Hint of New Tears and Places You Have Come to Fear the Most are most certainly my old favorites during my youth, the ones that usually stick to me long term are songs that I was able to relate to, one way or another. The scenery here are perfect for triggering nostalgia. Bless you for this video.

This song reminds me of all the good days back then. When everything was just plain and simple. unlike now. :( this song gets me all the time. Maybe part of nostalgia, but I would definitely would like to go back to the past and listen to this as it was just all simple. now listening to this song kind makes me emotional.
