What they ought to do is have a contest in school and whoever wins the contest they can go to a scrap yard and operate a similiar machine letting the winning student shred an old school bus.
Thats so God damb awesome And thats The Truth of The matter of fact because of course that i really really like this video And thats The Truth of The matter of fact.
That's sad. To think somewhere out there there's plucky young Mom with four talented, plucky young kids who desperately need another big, pop-art painted bus because ol' Rosie finally threw a rod in Montana. Gotta get to the jamboree! And now a word from Colegate.
Watching the claw work on the school bus was oddly gratifying. As a kid in the country, I spent over an hour on the way in to school and another hour on the way home... which come to think of it, may explain my delight at watching that bus get torn apart.
Why them do this like that? Them can sell this bus in so many countrys and it would drive more than 10 years. In africa or russia there are buses older than 40 years in very bad service condition and still driving. Why them destroy this well looked bus?!
The us school districts burn taxpayer money like it’s water. Very wasteful and our public school children consistently score very low when compared to private schools.
How is this more efficient than keeping all those parts that are not mechanical like Windows and things like that for Re-Use Store repurposed for other buses
You always have that one guy that likes to brag about how he has a transmission that’s bullet proof. Makes you just wanna go take it and throw it in this machine. That bus transmission got ate in under a minute.
Scrap yards are not subsidized, and Turing a bus into a shelter is a good idea but not a great one. A better idea is recycling this old bus and using the materials to make a new one that is more efficient and safe for the public and children.

Hey teacher, leave us kids alone!
All along is just another brick in the wall 🧱
Don't forget, our children still have to go to school, so they gonna need transportation
Damn, Provo Schools must have a lot of money. That bus looked brand new.
Yes they have allot of money their high school welding shop is one of the nicest fab shops in utah.
The mountain backdrop is sure beautiful.

Now keep this in mind, a tornado was able to strip a bus like this to its frame just like that claw did.
Ah, such mild and gentle persuasion.... A kin to an alligator 🐊.
Why is no one talking about how visceral this is. It's like a creature getting its guts ripped out. The movement of the machine is like a vulture.
that would be one of the funnest, coolest jobs ever

That big dummy broke a window. He should be more careful!
They don't empty the fluids or take the glass out of the windows?
Cars are literally built with this in mind. They go from brand new to yanked apart so they can't be put together too well.
Yeah but the difference is that this probably gave 20-30 years of service whereas a car is lucky to have 10 years on the road
Awesome video!! Well done.
When the dentist says it won’t hurt
Bus looks fine, definitely time to make the taxpayers buy new ones
Destroying like this is wrong.
It is best to evaluate each medium first.
And then recover the healthy parts and then scrape them but for material.
How is this more efficient than keeping all those parts that are not mechanical like Windows and things like that for Re-Use Store repurposed for other buses
We can make this, but can’t make a good bionic arm?

We sure do have a lot of busses to destroy since home schooling was made mandatory in our particular western state located somewhere near Colorado.
School buses always seemed so HEAVY and SOLID!!
Those are, obviously, relative terms…
actually they were worse at one point and it's taken a while just to get them the way they are now.
Stripping wire from a car like that must be a skill in it'self
Yeah, he’s very good. Probably knows all the wiring Sweet spots to get a nice handful
Somebody should tell that guy he's got the wrong Bus......
Oh crap I left my homework on the bus.
...and the kid who got picked on while riding the bus gets revenge 20+ years later.
Was there a still-functional green pickup truck on top of that bus, before it got ripped apart?
oops, there goes my loafer.
I think if someone wants to remove school bus engines and their transmissions for other specified truck engine swaps.
Bus looked in good shape beforehand. Wonder what was wrong with it.
To be honest they shouldn't do this because old busses can still work for a very long time (poor bus)

The wheels on the bus go round and round...
Not anymore
Can you just appreciate the wheels being still there after the intire bus is gone
That could have been turned into a tiny home or shelter for a family in need. Your tax dollars bought that. What a waste.
Scrap yards are not subsidized, and Turing a bus into a shelter is a good idea but not a great one. A better idea is recycling this old bus and using the materials to make a new one that is more efficient and safe for the public and children.
this is what i think happens to my school bus when its late
POV: School is cancelled
