While Sezane continues to produce visually beautiful pieces (I managed to snap up the tabata in khaki with ecru polka dots which is silk, lined in viscose ❤️), I’m worried about how frequently they are now releasing new pieces and whisking away pieces so quickly, putting them in “last chance” section after only a couple of weeks. Their ethos used to be more in line with classic pieces of quality fabric that would compliment any capsule wardrobe. Now their fabric compositions have declined, they are increasingly outsourcing production to China, and they are veering dangerously close to fast fashion territory with the speed of their releases. Pains me to say this btw as I have so many pieces that I love from Sezane…😢
@@BridgeOfLifeStudio Fortunately a lot of their older (better made both in terms of sustainability and fabric quality) pieces are available on the pre-loved/secondhand market.
I notice with some of sezanne’s pieces actually when they disappear they often tend to appear in the ‘last chance’ section which is quite strange when things might be only a few weeks old so worth checking out! I love sezanne so much but recent got the Gabriel dress and the purple cami but yeah can’t buy everything I want or else sezanne will bankrupt me!
To be entirely honest nothing has caught my attention in this collection. A lot of polyester which is a bad combination for summer. I live in a warm climate and polyester feels like heated plastic in summer. The Jennah dress is pretty but the composition does not match the price tag... I really wanted to ask you from where did you buy that lovely pearl pendant? It looks really gorgeous ❤
Thanks! I'm new to Sezanne but reconsidering. Thought I'd found a quality brand producing ethically and sustainably. It's never a good sign when a quality brand starts using polyester and producing in China
There is plenty, I’d say the majority, that isn’t synthetic - lots of organic cotton, linen and silk to choose from! Also I’m not comfortable tarnishing everything made in china as automatically ‘bad’ - it depends on the factory they are using. The Curated are the definition of an ‘ethical, slow fashion’ brand and they manufacture almost exclusively in China I believe.
I just bought the partir avec toi swimsuit in that gorgeous patchwork print and the low Rosa sandals in gold and I love them! It's the first time I got a swimsuit from sezane and it's gorgeous! One of the best I have ever tried! I really want the Luna top and the Pippa dress in ecru 😭
Ooh that's amazing! Good to know about their swimwear... maybe I will have to try after all! I also have my eye on the Low Rosa's in gold... they are stunning!
From this drop I had spotted and immediately bought the very simple Selena dress. After buying so many fancy things I rarely wear, I thought this particular piece would be very practical and comfortable during the holidays (at the beach/ lunch, on the road, even on a small hike with trainers). The Emy dress is a longer alternative. Also I got the Pippa in the black with the flowers and I have already worn it twice. Nice practical daily dresses are my latest thing.
I have the Pippa dress in the green coming and a few other items including that daisy dress. They messed up on my order a bit and as a sorry they sent me a £50 voucher, Love Sezane.
I've never ordered from Sezanne and am ready to! First item idea? I'm leaning toward a Max shirt in white or blue stripe. Pretty basic, but I know I'd wear it all the time!
I definitely think for your first purchase you should go with a classic item, something you will wear a lot! Max shirt seems like a perfect option. I haven't tried it myself yet but I have my eye on the blue striped one...
Hi Katie Would love you to write down the name of the swimwear brand you mentioned. It seems very very nice and am very interested . Loved the one in rosy color you showed on picture . Infinite blessings

I was just thinking the same thing a few days ago

Been watching your videos for an hour straight. So glad that I found someone with my same body type that does this type of content. Thank you!
Awh yay that makes me so SO happy to hear! Thank you so much for watching xxx

Yeah that definitely happens a lot! Unfortunately not with the Izia dress though :( Hahaha I know the feeling!
I love your descriptions! You certainly know Sézane. You’re fun to watch.
Oh thank you!
Love their Pierro shirts. They are so flattering and flowy.
Ooh I definitely need to try!

Yeah Polyester is definitely not ideal. Thank you, it's from a brand called ATOLEA 🙂

Practical easy to wear dresses are so essential for summer! I definitely need something like that in my wardrobe.
Love the videos as always. Bit of a side note, but would you ever do a hair routine? Your hair always looks gorgeous x
Maybe! The only reason I wouldn't is I don't do too much too it... Dyson airwrap or straighteners and that's about it xx
The Jennah dress really made me pause and gasp for a bit, but I hope they bring it out in other colors instead of just ecru
It’s lovely ☺️ fingers crossed for more colours!
Yes, how do you keep your white clothing white? I always get stains, sometimes even from chairs, handbag straps, make-up, etc
@@Tulipsandfries haha I do too sometimes! I guess I'm just careful and if I do get a mark on something I try to blot it away immediately :)

This was great!
Thanks!
Katie, do you have the Nathalia sweater or have you tried it on? I think I want to buy it but I'm not sure what the sizing's like.
Hi, I haven't I'm sorry! If I was to order it based on what I have tried I'd probably stick to my usual size but that's just a guess xx

Hi, it’s linked in the description box!
Would love to know what red lip you have on? Thanks x
it's a sezane one but their makeup isn't for sale yet! :(
Hi can you review Sezane shoes
Of course! I have one pair coming up in my next video and I’ll do a dedicated review soon! 🤍
@@katie_louise thank you so much.
Is the Luna top tight fitting or a bit loose?
Fairly tight but not skin tight if that makes sense!
