Really helpful, man. Thank you. I'm at like 3 months or so with mine, so I get the gist of the basics, but it's really helpful to see someone who is fluent in Deluge do their thing. This video had a couple of "duh doi" moments for me, with seemingly basic features/controls that somehow flew over my head up until now.
I'm glad you think so! The Deluge has so much going on that it can be daunting, but it's such a special and powerful device. I'm glad I was able to help!
Of course, when you're playing live in song mode like that, you can get Deluge to record your operations to the arranger, and then you have them stored there for further work / or to repeat a performance.
You're welcome! It's one of those things on the Deluge that simultaneously makes sense, but was so difficult for me to figure out without the manual, haha.
Dude I spent a good while looking for bionicles. I have no idea where mine went, but I just wanted to buy one for the nostalgia. Couldn't find any. Can't believe they don't make them anymore!
Thank you! And I picked them up online in a pack, they were guitar pedal patch cables (they're each only, like, six inches long). I loved all the fun colors, haha.
This instrumentation is like fried fish,
Call it crunchy bass (this bad joke only works in writing)
But for real, what a great video!
That was excellent. Thanks 🙏
Glad you liked it! 😁

This is very instructional I hope you consider to make more with the Deluge!
Thanks! I plan to, I've just got so many different video ideas to work through, haha.
Great video, thanks for sharing. In the process of deciding on the Deluge and glad I ran into your channel.
Really nice demo! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Glad you like it!
Sweet track:) I miss Bionicle, so much memories as a kid just came back, thank you 😊
Dude, Bionicle is so sick. The lore for it is shockingly deep.

Thanks! And yeah the Deluge is very cool!
YOU DIDN'T. 😳 Thanks man! Excited to dig into this one!
I hope you enjoy! I'm happy to try demystifying the workings of the Deluge, if can be so complicated.
Great demo. Learned a lot from your workflow. Mind sharing where you got those right angle cables? Thanks!

Great video Josh 🔥👍+1
Thank you! :)
Dude you think you get the oled upgrade?
I've actually already gotten it! My next video is gonna feature the OLED-ified Deluge!
Liked and subscribed, now to get my hands on an actual Deluge... Thanks!
Thank you, I appreciate it! And the Deluge is a really cool piece of gear. Very pricey, but really great as an "all-in-one" music making platform.
I am collecting reasons to buy one so I can convince my wife. This helped lol.
Kopaku ✊
Gotta represent.
Did you wave backwards? 🤔😂🤣
It's my patented "inverted farewell" technique.
@@JoshIsMakingMusic 😁
How is this a good idea for writing songs?
Are you kidding me??
