What a great video. Sufficiently clear so that somebody new to the sport can superficially understand what you are saying, yet after my 3 years of training it is possible to understand so much more of you are actually meaning. I know that when I watch it after another 3 years of training, I'll see it differently again. It's one of the great, subtle pleasures of the sport; that you never stop learning, you just move from not knowing what you are doing, to knowing that you are doing something wrong but not sure what it is, to knowing what you're doing wrong and learning how to fix it. Good work!

I was actually working a heavy bag today and was wondering about the short left hook.

awesome vid! i just got a heavy bag today from craigslist for upper body training. i'm going to watch your heavy bag tips video now.
This video is legit. I just started taking boxing lessons and this is almost exactly what i was told to look out for in class.
Very well explained and demonstrated! I'd definitely refer to this video now and again. Loving that gloves...
i've been in boxing class for about a month now. i've done all of these errors and the coach is always reminding me, ha! this is so nice to have a tutorial to practice with. thank you so much for taking the time to make it.

Good work!
Awesome video! I learned so much already and i make a lot of those mistakes. I'm personally a Jiu-Jitsu guy but I've always wanted to learn, now with these helpful tips I'll having this playing in my head when i go to the boxing gym
Hey Jason I just recently got into boxing. I started following you on youtube. Thanks for putting these videos on here, your giving a lot of purpose and direction to what Im doing. Hopefully in about a year when Im done with school I can get into a gym.
awesome! I'm learning to be a coach and your videos are so helpful. learning where I need to improve and going wrong, and now looking forward to using your knowledge to help out others

This really helped me a lot. I do some of these common mistake of reaching opponent by coming up.
then the footwork is amazing
Wish there were some gyms in my area, watching these vids are great and all but I feel like I might sill be making a lot of mistakes without even noticing, where as to I had a gym nearby someone could point out my mistakes as I go.
I'm not really boxing, rather doing Krav Maga, but a friend and i started boxing in our free time against each other and I gotta say these videos are great even though they are already pretty old! They cover a lot so for people like us who don't have a professional trainer and just do some boxing for fun sometimes it's very helpful!
Thank you man.. nice vid.. sure's gonna help a lot
It's awesome to see your channel blowing up like it has. I've been watching since you had like 30k. Good to see that you've been sticking with it with the consistent uploads. Some people are just born to teach. I always recommend your videos to up and comers. Good stuff.
