Why I take Oats for Breakfast as a Runner - Oats Recipes

- In the Netherlands we eat a lot of bread, in the morning for breakfast and for lunch, even as a side dish for dinner sometimes. Well the problem arises that you also eat a bit to much salt, so therefore I decided to look for another breakfast. I found Oats as a replacement and never switched since I am running.
Besides my overnight Oats, I will show you the other two main oat recipes I use shortly at the end of this video! And I will address the main benefits of eating Oats for breakfast!
In Kenya I also used to eat pancakes for breakfast, mainly because they were made fresh in the trainingscamp every morning. And I usually take a cup of coffee to start the day. However to not feed my addictions for coffee or peanut butter too much I usually skip them once in a while as well haha.

I love oatmeal, but I'm a weirdo and do it a little backwards. I eat oatmeal for dinner most nights and then just have a little something before my morning run. I'll have to try these recipes in the rotation.
