I don't think any other youtuber has put forth the effort to walk us through every little sidequest in Morrowind, at least not in a way that focuses on the story content instead of just telling you how to complete it. And the game doesn't get much attention anymore since it's over 20 years old. I appreciate you digging into it, and not just the main faction quests but all of the little things that add up to paint a picture of what kind of world Morrowind is. What the people are like, the culture, etc. I played Morrowind as a kid when it came out and it left a huge impression on me, there's nothing else like it.
I really appreciate the kind words! It makes me happy to hear that others aren’t really touching on these quests, I’m more than excited to tell all of their story’s!
I, for one, am willing to believe in love. Especially given how a female player character can have a similar encounter that ends well with another dashing dunmer rogue near Pelagiad.
Ive said it before, but i do really mean it when i say that there is not anyone that does this type of content the way you do, its fresh, something new, exciting and i never Get to Watch enough of your content, its just that good. Love your stuff.
Let's go, another morrowind video, been following your videos since it's a fresh perspective and it feels like I'm playing the game for the first time again
Hopefully Nelos wasn't putting on an act with Maurrie! He is a rogue, though he did seem to genuinely care about her. I like how open-ended this quest's ending is. Also, this is one of my favourite quests in the game. Thanks for covering it! ^_^
Both the Mage's guild and the Thieves Guild in Balmora have quests that send you to Pelagiad pretty early on, so you're almost guaranteed to meet her. And her comment at the end kind of hints at a romanceable NPC that she is sending you to meet and we all know how much players love romancing NPCs.
They like every single other npc never move but they supposedly visit each other, some citizens mention rumors that a bandit and maiden found love and they will get married or something. She also hooks you up with one her Breton friends depending on which sex you are. Nelos is a nice guy, Nels Llendo has a similar MO but hes the womanizer.
Amazing video as I definitely remember doing this quest the first time first time I ever play Morrowind. It could be funny to see these two showed up in Oblivion or or even get the mentioned in Skyrim like vaden does.
I kinda like the fact that the reward isnt huge. Theres no 'cost'in repairs, health or items for this quest, so its sort of only done for the love of side quests or curisoity. I think they specify he didnt harm her to avoid people thinking the worst. If he wanted to harm her, why risk her not sending for him? Just a story too sweet for the public of morrowind to accept...
No lie, I always had a hard time not going slightly murderhobo on Maurrie after finishing her quest the first time. I was younger, and her stuff sells for a decent bit of coin. Maybe if I knew how to roleplay at the time, I wouldn't have done that. EDIT - oh huh, never realized that she only sends you to someone of the opposite gender. Though I probably shouldn't be surprised, considering the time the game was released and how . . . certain characters (Vivec and Crassius) . . . were depicted in the game and its lore.

Ive done this quest many times.. but getting it like this does bring it forth differently
these morrowind videos are the best i've seen
I really appreciate the kind words! :)
100% agree ❤
Randomly walking down road: find Shakespeare play in action.
Classic Bethesda 👌
@@ABardsBalladAnd just the sheer random chaotic beauty of Morrowind.

😂 I’ve heard about this quest! I’m excited to try it 👀
Pff. Imagine not gutting Nelos like the pig he is. 🗡️

I really appreciate it! :) I’m just happy to get to experience this game for the first time and have you all walk me through it!

That’s really cool to hear! I’m glad you’ve been enjoying them! So far it’s been a blast in this game, I still have a lot to learn 😂
As a hopeless romantic, this made me so happy. You’re the only vehicle by which I’ve seen Oblivion and Morrowind, and I’m loving every minute of it
I’m really glad to hear it! I’m really enjoying Morrowind so far! It’s been lots of fun!

Hope these Morrowind videos become a daily thing 🤞
They’ll definitely be pumped out multiple times a week! :)

She’s trying to play matchmaker 👀 interesting how it doesn’t really go beyond potions!
@ABardsBallad don't worry, there's another NPC in Pelagiad who _is_ as romancable as it gets in Morrowind.
Too bad her mid and end quests are really difficult to finish with UESP. Looking at you Firemirror robe.
You can travel by boat by interacting with the NPCs near the boats. It'll help you get around without swimming.
Yeah I’ve really gotta utilize the boating system a lot more!

I’ve heard the legends of Nels! I’m excited to go through that one 😂
Please *PLEASE* for the love of Azura, any pillow you find, *KEEP IT*
I thought she was sending you on a love mission of your own but all you get is potions lmao
That’s what I’m saying!! 😂😂 a missed opportunity IMO lol but I suppose it is what it is
I'm loving these Morrowind videos, I'm looking forward to more I the future 👍
I’m really glad to hear! A super fun game so far!
Well Bard, are you singing songs about their love?
😂 I guess technically I am! Maybe they are all sunshine and rainbows 👀
Good stuff loving the transition to morrowind 🤙
I really appreciate it and the support! :)
Thank you for your morrorwind series videos bard

I really appreciate it! It would’ve been really cool to see them in oblivion I agree!
Hell yes. MORROWIND LORE
I hope you enjoyed it!
I love these videos man
I’m really glad to hear it! :)
I never thought about it before now... but it reminds me of the subplot in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon from 2000
Sweet more lore.
I hope you enjoy it!

😂😂 honestly I was half tempted to do the same! And yeah the game seems like it’s trying to send a message of some sorts 😂
Uncle Crassius my 🐐
