My nord character used the first ring to help make himself immune to all magic. I ended up with 100% resistance to magic and all elemental effect’s which made my nord warrior incredibly powerful.
I found marara's ring entirely by accident a few days ago and was so psyched when I did. Something I love about morrowind is the sheer number of interesting artifacts to be discovered. It give such an awesome feeling of exploration and achievement when you stumble across such items while clearing out what you thought would be a simple little tomb with a few skeleton warriors
The later games really lack this sense of wonder and fulfilment from discovering rare artifacts. Skyrim's artifacts are especially drab and boring imo.
I really like that they just have them available right from the start without any level requirements and there are very few things that are only loaded in once you're on a specific quest, like spellbreaker! It really rewards exploration over just following the quests like most RPG's.
The rings are awesome, but you glossed over the true story. The Real Barenziah in Morrowind is censored to hide the fact that Helseth's father is actually a Khajiit. Therris Denstagamer was his name.
A Nord or Dunmer with Denstagmer's Ring can laugh off the correct atronach or mage for the rest of the game. I haven't played as a Morrowind vampire much. But I imagine they can with Marara's ring similarly laugh off everything BUT a mage or flame atronach.
True! Dunmer vampire is pretty OP since you don't have to worry about fire at all. Best way would likely be to go with a nord and get the dragonbone cuirass and a couple of these rings. Then you can laugh at the mages and atronachs while they do very little to no damage :D
I watched this video and immediately set out to get these rings! Thanks for making good content for such a nostalgiac game.
My pleasure! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos!
If you head on in at level 1 these tombs are empty or almost entirely so.. no scamps, no bone walkers.. just loot.

Great combo!
How did you get the complete magic and elemental immunity?

Morrowind is a true masterpiece.
Still doin the jams! Thx scribby
This video is amazing, and good quality 👏 OuO
Thanks, now i have more reasons to get in the ancestral tombs
Glad you enjoyed it!
I've always been partial to Marara's ring on one hand and a custom-made CE restore health ring on the other (IIRC you can fit 7 to 6 on an exquisite)
Ooh, nice! I bet it's expensive, I might try that with one of the tribunal souls!
Awesome video buddy
I'm fine with some mystery. 13 yo me is thankful for the Real Barenziah.
Subbed like a scrib
Loved the video! Subscribing.
Welcome aboard! Glad you enjoyed it!
Exploring in Morrowind is interesting because you can just walk into some random tomb and find one of the best items in the game lol

@@Gitshiver agreed! One of the things that makes me think it’s the best TES game imo
thanks you!!
You're welcome!
Beat on dem bone bois !
Awesome game!
Fargoth's ring is still the best one, because... Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk, agh burzum-ishi krimpatul.
Such foul language, Gandalf would not approve :D
@@Gitshiver Yeah, me too, I prefer my Uruks speaking Cockney.
@@SpiritTauren wossall tis den! Yew havin a giggol? :D
I agree!
@@SpiritTauren Uruks? Spellforce player?
Royal Signet ring next?
It's definitely on the list!

The Tribunal Temple would like to know your location

Just think, we'll never see artifacts like these in a TES game ever again. 🙄
I'm hopeful that we'll see them in Skywind, at least.
