Man, it's the little things like this that make the worldbuilding of the older Elder Scrolls games a cut above everything else in my opinion. Great video!
I don't know how accurately or reliably the game could tell where items were dropped, so that might have made the Spy Rock portion of the quest buggy, especially if it was a rocky area where gravity could cause some of the items to fall out of position. If it had bugs that needed to be ironed out, and was in an area with lots of other similar quests, it'd make sense that it was a lower priority for development and ended up getting cut.
Honestly I wish we got an oblivion style game in the Warhammer Fantasy universe A quest involving a half ogre with a healing factor who tries to be an apologist for Ogres would be AMAZING!
Didn't expect to see you here, Grim. :0 But that game definitely sounds like a great idea. I'm so eager for some good WHF RPGs to come out at some point hopefully, lol. WHF is so underutilized and it saddens me.
Bethesda was always bad at cutting quests… but I feel the writing has significantly nosedived in the last 13ish years. Did they drive off all the people with vision?
I think there's a cutting room floor mod that adds this quest back into the game. It sounds really familiar. There's a subplot that orcs and ogres are cousins, but it doesn't really work with the other lore that orcs are corrupted dark elves.
Orcs are corrupted *Aldmer* (the ancestors of all Elves, most closely related to *High* Elves). The Orcs actually predate the existence of the Dark Elves.
I must have gotten a different version of the game. I remember doing this quest line and thinking it was weird. Unless it was unlocked with an online download. It was interesting, but also didn't make much sense. You do learn that ogres are at least simi intelligent and can speak the common language.
Every able bodied npc whose quest you complete favorably should be recruitment for the battle of Bruma. Maybe then our beloved Baurus and Joffrey might survive
By sheer luck (I’m guessing), Baurus and Joffrey both survived on two of my play throughs. They each had a sliver of health left once I emerged from the Bruma Great Gate. So I waited an hour and they were back to full health.
the only one i can think of is one you get from a khajiit in a tavern outside of one of the cities. she had you kill some ogres that stole her potatoes, and she gives you potato loafs as a reward.
You guys understand there's a bunch of mods that restore cut content out there right? I remember literally playing this thinking this was a real quest because I decided to replay Oblivion 6 years ago with mods.... I literally just today through this video found out this was not a real quest. Like it was cut. 😅
My Man is now deep into cut content. Sweet
It’s fascinating to see what could’ve been! I hope you enjoyed it!

"Tried to make him disappear" then accidently made an oblivion paralysis demon..
😂 yeah my boy Jirolin got twisted and contorted
Honestly I wish we got an oblivion style game in the Warhammer Fantasy universe

I’m not super familiar with the warhammer series but from what I do know! That would be a great premise!
It's an mmo but return of reckoning is full of neat little quests like that
Didn't expect to see you here, Grim. :0 But that game definitely sounds like a great idea. I'm so eager for some good WHF RPGs to come out at some point hopefully, lol.
WHF is so underutilized and it saddens me.
Hey Bard, I believe the Branwen and Owen one would be a good one for you to tackle. Thanks for the quality content. 🤘
Awesome thanks for sharing this I would of never of knew about this. It sucks they cut this.
I’m glad to shed light on it! Would’ve been fun to play through!
Poor guy. Definitely an Ig Nobel prize contender.

😂 very true! I think they just chose quantity over creative quality in the long run!
Right?! But it’s the quality that still has us talking about the older TES games.

@@kitosjek9541He's no writer yet they keep him as their lead writer. Someone make it make sense.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees this, lol.
I love your content man.

Are you gonna do mehrunes razor quest and the dlc player house maybe the house quests if not enough for separate videos bundle them in one?
Really wish this quest wasn't cut.
It would’ve been a really fun one to do!
can you do a video about all the in-game houses (and dlc)?
Malacath would love this dude

Can we get the Skyblivion guys to implement this quest?
Hell yeah
I hope you enjoyed it! :)
Why do I feel like I have done this quest before..
It could be the quests similar to it! Or if you play with mods it could’ve been that too!
I feel like there was a similar quest in one of the fable games with hobs.

Honestly if the modding community wasn’t as expansive and vast as it is, elder scrolls and fallout would’ve died
Maybe not died, but certainly not as expansive or widespread as it is.
Hello!
Hey there!
