PA Fisher Trapped in 2 Days!

- How to trap a Pennsylvania fisher. This was the 2nd year in a row I was able to trap a fisher during the 2 week long 2019 PA season. This was a female and smaller than last years at 7 lbs, but that makes even more important for predator management/control. This section of woods used to be a turkey haven until the fishers moved in. Now, the turkeys are all but none existent. Hopefully, this consistent predator control is a step in the right direction.

Are there any down there at all, or are you planning on trapping them somewhere else in PA?
I wanted to go north but just can't afford a 2-3 hr drive everyday to check sets. I'm in reading Pennsylvania

Congrats 👍 they are so cool looking. I was going to go to Pike County and do a week of trapping. But I fell and hurt my knee and left thumb. But next year I'm going to give it hell. 👍 thanks for showing enjoyed watching

It's inhumane to see ANY animal suffer in a trap for hours and/or days until the "hunter" returns to check the trap and finally put the animal out of its misery! This is SO barbaric and unnecessary in today's world!
It's inhumane to allow disease, parasites, over predation, and starvation because of over population, lack of habitat, and constantly changing food sources all caused by humans. Who are too ignorant and spineless to help the problem and would rather turn a blind eye and virtue signal just to falsely say they are causing less suffering because of it. That is truly barbaric and currently the world we live in today.
