Great content, very good direction you took this. really could have used this when we PCSed there in 15. Now I'm retired and looking at your channel to come back as a civilian.
I discovered your channel today, and I must say, you're doing a great job. Keep it up! I'll watch a few more of your videos now... probably not all of them, but great job!! I am also a foreigner in Germany, but with German citizenship. It's a great country, and I must say, the positive things, besides the beer, are worth it to live here.😉 PS.: I hope the algorithm kicks in, and you get more views. Like I said, you were recommended to me out of the blue, maybe the first step.

On a side note, I'm surprised you dont have a contract with the US military supporting inbound members with what you do. If you haven't ever considered pursuing one, you should!
But the military would then also have an influence on the content! Possibly not so good and honest. You see that in Hollywood movies.
@arnodobler1096 nope thinking about it the wrong way. As a vendor you would negotiate your services and they would be outlined in your statement of work (SOW). You could continue doing what you are doing and define your SOW as outcome based and provide specific services such as doing live Q&As via zoom for all inbound members once a month. Providing them with paid services such as the forms you sell online. Part of your services could include connecting inbound members with your existing network be it vendors, travel agents, sponsors at a discounted rate. You could provide special discounts with pet travel etc you of course would have to negotiate this with the vendors and lock in your rates, etc. So much you could do and the best part is you would own all of your stuff, your fee would be specific to the services you are providing which would be outcome based, etc. Your content such as videos etc would be separate from the services you provide but could be a benefit they can tap into. Trust me it can be done. You would just have to make the right connections to have meetings to pitch your offer to the right people. Those people would put in a purchase request through their unit. Their leadership would identify the need, they would be responsible for creating the SOW or SOO, they'd have to get funding approved, etc but once it's done you negotiate your price which would be an outcome based price and once it's awarded you have a contract. There's a lot more in between I did not mention but it's possible.

I work in government contracts and can email you more info if you like. Just lmk what email you want me to send it to. But essentially, that's not true. You can still have full control over your end product. What you would have to negotiate is a service contract.
