    These are good tips. If you are rpoc or a leadership role, learn to make decisions. Don’t always turn to your rdc for direction. Act like you been here before

    I appreciate all of your videos as I ship out on October 29th. Your videos help reduce some of the anxiety and nervesnous I have about RTC Great Lakes

    Good Stuff Mate! I was just in Recruiter Training Command in a Leadership course. Brings back soooooo many memories. Bootcamp seems a bit easier, but I'm sure that's what we all say!

      Hey chief, good to see you here. Boot camp seems to always be daunting going in, and then looking back it looks so easy. It's probably because it's the easiest part of our careers.

      @@HaedenBeck Yes, looking back at all the stuff I was worried about, it's pretty silly. I thought there were like hundreds of cameras everywhere, and these folks are just watching, waiting for recruits to make one mistake so they can flame us. So silly...these guys actually have some huge fish to fry, even worried about things like that lol.

    Your videos are so good. I can explain all of this stuff to my son, but it's much more impactful coming from someone who is closer to his age. He's at MEPS right now, doing his medical assessment. I'm more nervous for him to leave for boot camp than I was when I went! 😂

    Learn how to make a bed and fold clothes would be helpful I know those were things I struggled with 45 years ago 1979 but I made friends too also practice 12 orders of a sentry or download the manual they are using ask questions

    My granddaughter is in boot camp. She was assigned E3 when she joined. I assume after boot camp she is given this “rank”. Can you explain the rankings??

    • @HaedenBeck
      @HaedenBeck  3 місяці тому

      The difference between E-1, E-2, and E-3 is only pay. There's no difference of responsibility. That starts at E-4 and especially E-5.I wish her the best!

    I signed up for MA as well, just waiting on my ears to çlose due to my gauges. Do they have to fully close?
    Also whats the restroom situation, like do we get to use it when we please or only during certain times?

    • @HaedenBeck
      @HaedenBeck  6 місяців тому +1

      I would imagine they'd have to fully close. They give everyone like 10-15 minutes at a time to use the head like during events and expect everyone to literally run back. Other times things are more relaxed and you just do what you gotta do in there.
