    Your videos are so good. I can explain all of this stuff to my son, but it's much more impactful coming from someone who is closer to his age. He's at MEPS right now, doing his medical assessment. I'm more nervous for him to leave for boot camp than I was when I went! 😂

      Thanks, I'm sure he will do great!

    Good Stuff Mate! I was just in Recruiter Training Command in a Leadership course. Brings back soooooo many memories. Bootcamp seems a bit easier, but I'm sure that's what we all say!

      Hey chief, good to see you here. Boot camp seems to always be daunting going in, and then looking back it looks so easy. It's probably because it's the easiest part of our careers.

      @@HaedenBeck Yes, looking back at all the stuff I was worried about, it's pretty silly. I thought there were like hundreds of cameras everywhere, and these folks are just watching, waiting for recruits to make one mistake so they can flame us. So silly...these guys actually have some huge fish to fry, even worried about things like that lol.

    I loved the suit!!only thing is the black tie blends in too much with the lapel .you need a tie that pops and stands out

    Thank you very much, Haeden. Thoughts on active duty vs reserves?

    • @HaedenBeck
      @HaedenBeck  4 місяці тому

      Active duty was the best choice for my situation but it's up to you and your situation.

    For navy job for example culinary specialist it says VE+AR=76 how does your score add up AR= Arithmetic Reasoning (AR) and VE WK+PC Paragraph Comprehension+ Word Knowledge and how do you know what jobs offer more hazard pay or is that just depending on some jobs if you get shipped for example cooks won’t really get hazard pay since their cooks and is hazard pay worth it

    • @HaedenBeck
      @HaedenBeck  4 місяці тому +1

      Yeah you add up each section that the job needs to get the score needed. Hazard pay is covered in the pay video, it changes where you go too not just the job. Hazard pay is meant to compensate not be an incentive, they're not trying to get you to take a bigger risk with your life by offering money. There isn't an amount of money you should risk your life for. It's just there to compensate for it while you're there for other reasons.

      @@HaedenBeck so I scored a 74 and was told that nuclear would be a good job what my recruiter said but he said it’s big money and that it’ll be hard is it worth trying to learn and be in nuclear I got all my document and fingerprint but would it be good outside the navy and for retirement pay even worth it since you gotta serve 20 years I know a lot of people who go to marine or army for 1-5 years but know no body who stayed at least 10 or so years is It worth getting in to nuclear or should I try to just go into welding or officer since it’s a job that can be accepted outside the army

    • @HaedenBeck
      @HaedenBeck  4 місяці тому +1

      @@ProGamerLee21 I thought you needed 85 to be a nuke but it's up to you. Many people become a nuke and leave the navy after one enlistment for a civilian job that pays 4x as much for the same job.

    Beck is that the new Navy dress uniform ?

    I signed up for MA as well, just waiting on my ears to çlose due to my gauges. Do they have to fully close?
    Also whats the restroom situation, like do we get to use it when we please or only during certain times?

    • @HaedenBeck
      @HaedenBeck  Місяць тому +1

      I would imagine they'd have to fully close. They give everyone like 10-15 minutes at a time to use the head like during events and expect everyone to literally run back. Other times things are more relaxed and you just do what you gotta do in there.
