the thing they do with their hands when someone's serving is called screening. it makes it harder for the other team to see when and how the server is gonna serve how fast the ball is coming etc

I only noticed one shot where Daichi didn't look quite like himself (at 9:06), but the animation was still good overall. There wasn't even a huge or epic moment that required really good animation in this episode. I don't see why people have to comment about how this episode was outsourced to a different studio when RT didn't even say anything about the animation being bad.
