@@UltimatePower01 ikr, I'm bummed that the rest of the manga will be finished off within the 2 movies. We won't be getting detailed matches and individual characters' struggles.
The thing about Atsumu is, he may be my favourite Haikyuu character besides Nishinoya and Kuro. I can't tell why because you will see in future episodes that he works really hard for his position. You will also see his attitude while playing. You can tell that he is not only a badass but he also admits when someone has done a good play, like the quick of our crow duo where he kinda even fanboyed. That and other future scenes of him just show how much he loves the game, he can smile and laugh on the court because he loves the game so much and then he will switch to being serious again and this brutal setter you don't want to play against. As a male, I feel uncomfortable to say: Oh yeah, this guy is hot and so on...but let me tell you this much guys, if I was a girl I would crush SO hard on that guy😂
I love the psychological warfare aspects that have been brought into this match because of the crowd. We got a tiny glimpse of what it could be like with Shiratorizawa, but Inarizaki's crowd is far more involved and well-trained. Also, I know how frustrating it'll be as a Karasuno fan to see them get influenced and thrown off by these tactics so much, but there's a few other factors to consider, too. For one, this is the first time our boys have come up against a truly hostile crowd that actually has strategy to what doing. Second, even when Karasuno adapts, the crowd is actually adapting with them to stay even further ahead. They started off booing during our serves. When Karasuno started to get used to that, they changed over to messing with the rhythm. As our boys are trying to get used to that, the team itself chimes in and adds on the varying timing of their serves after the whistle. Simply put, no other team or crowd has ever put our boys in this kind of situation before, and it's happening when they're also coming to nationals for the first time, AND playing the second best team in the country, with the best high school setter in the country. So many individual factors all just adding and adding to this mountainous pile of pressure.
I totally agree with everything you're saying here. There is definitely a lot coming at Karasuno, and it just keeps piling on, even with the immense pressure they are already feeling being at Naitonals. I do have to say, though... I love how you said "our serves."
Yonezawa: "she's staring way harder than I expected" is what I want to say when watching Sarah's reactions. Love the attention to detail! Quality reacting! So excited for you to watch the rest of this match!
This is such a well-written match, it's going to be intense like this every episode as different players start getting featured especially from Inarizaki.
a spectacular detail in the last move of the episode, is that what Atsumu says "This Position, This Timing, This Angle" is exactly the same as what Kageyama says in the first minus tempo they do in the 3v3 match in the fourth episode
This match is awesome. Atsumu can be a jerk at times, but the way he loves volleyball is so pure, beautiful and contagious. He was captivated by Kageyama's quick and wanted to try it himself. And he's a beast of a setter, which is shown to us perfectly by how he manages to achieve it first try in the middle of a stressful match. Of course, he did it with his brother. They've been practicing and playing together for a lot of time, so he knows almost perfectly how Osamu plays, his reach, his speed, etc. Also, what Atsumu says is an awesome paralel to Kageyama saying the very same thing with the minus tempo. I can't wait to see you watching this match. Inarizaki is such an amazing team with really cool and interesting dynamics
Sometimes I do think the world of Haikyuu would have been quite a different place had Oikawa decided to join Shiratorizawa. with him and ushiwaka working together they would have the top team in the country for 3 years in a row for sure and Oikawa would have been a bigger shot than Atsumu. Quite a fun what-if scenario to think about :D
I love the kansai dialect😊 & loved Tsukishima's reaction to the booing. It's so HIM!😆 Since there werent any really wonky subs this ep, just gonna leave my personal opinion about 1 that I've seen brought up by others before: 29:58 「攻めるタイミングは逃したらアカンよなぁ?」→ "We can't miss a chance to score. Am I right?". I personally don't have a big problem with this sub, but I've read commenters write that it should actually be something like "Don't miss the timing for the attack" & that Atsumu is telling Osamu to get the timing for the upcoming quick attack right. I however believe that the original line was meant to be criptic for the viewers for building up to the actual Miya twin quick attack while showing that Osamu could still tell what Atsumu was hinting at despite that. The more literal translation might be "(We) shouldn't miss the timing for going on the offensive, now should (we)? ". The "timing" here pertains to "at what time during the game" rather than something related to a technical aspect of a certain single play, so "chance" or "opportunity" in place of "timing" in this case works OK.
So beautiful at least for me how even the fans have their own role in the fight, it kinda shows how everyone has a role somewhere somehow. Noya looked so proud how Hinata was able to close in to the ball, he sees his improvements. This episode really show that there might be other setters that can use Hinata to his fullest other than Kageyama.
I remember in this episode when Saeko showed up with the Taiko drums I felt a little bad... I remember there was some prior episode where it was mentioned off hand that Saeko played the drums in a traditional Japanese group during festivals and I colored the picture in my head that she was just fooling around somewhere, probably showing up late and unprofessional person to work with... but this episode somehow showed me that YES she is showing up late and has her issues as a person, but by god she takes her job seriously when she's doing it, so I felt like I underestimated her, she wasn't just playing with the group she was kind of leading them. Definitely can see where Tanaka gets his mental toughness from, when the chips are down you can always count on Saeko haha
I love this comment!! It's so true!! Saeko is underestimated because she is goofy and likes to party, but she takes her Taiko seriously. I love that she is there to have the team's back.
Those who doesn't know who's top 5 spikers. Top 3 is Sakusa, Ushiwaka and Kiryuu and 4th is Bokuto 5th is Aran(in anime they didn't clearly mentioned but in manga he is in top 5)
I feel like this match is insane for people who are as good as you are in volleyball sarah. The level of play is so high in this one, there is a lot to appreciate for people who know their stuff about volleyball. and it's crazy that EVERYBODY who saw the quick said that they shouldn't try to copy it because only these two can do it. And here comes miya and does it first try. what a G
Welcome to the greatness that is Atsumu and Inarizaki in general✨🤌🏼 Gotta be honest, this game was real conflicting for me to watch because I, of course, wanted Karasuno to win but at the same time I didn't want Inarizaki to lose🥲 They are so good and such a breath of fresh air and have some of my favourite characters on their team, so I couldn't help rooting for them too😂 Atsumu is probably my favourite character in this series and (in my opinion, everyone is very welcome to have their own opinion☺️) the best setter out of the big 3 (Kags, Oikawa and Atsumu) because he is basically the perfect balance of the other two. He isn't a "genius" like Kageyama but he isn't "ordinary" like Oikawa either. He's somewhere in the middle. But aside from his insane skills, I think he's my fave because of his pure love for the game. He loves it with his whole being and he enjoys a good game and good plays even from his opponents. He is demanding but he also gives 120% back. He is skillful but still playful. He's such a fun player to watch. I'm happy to see that you are already warming up to him and the team! They have their quirks but they are all great☺️
@@kamson8172 Yeah, but he's not like Kageyama. Atsumu wasn't always good. In terms of natural talent, Osamu had more of that. It's his love for volleyball and the grit that came with it that made him be seen as a "genius" today. Not saying Kags didn't put in the work, he obviously did but he always was this prodigy, Atsumu was not.
like that one moment you get hooked to volleyball that bokuto talks about to Tsukki, the moment Miya atsumu does the freak quick is like the moment everyone gets hooked to this match with their entire heart. Top quality content
7:37 hi! I love your reactions, thanks for sharing this with us. You looked you didnt understand this part. Aran didn't expect that set because it's not usual for them to set on the first touch. It's because Atsumu has this hunger for more and more and he just doesn't stop, he's a genius like Kageyama and his team sometimes can't keep it up with him, his best partner is indeed his twin ;)
BEST SISTER EVER!!!! Love Inarizaki, love this game, love the crazy twins! It's insane how quickly they picked up on the weird play of our boys, and that sax at the end ahhhhh~! Love your reaction and you noticing every small tactics that go on in the game. Hearing you explain them before the show does makes me love the show even more because of how real and well researched it actually is!
When hinata tried the “back tempo” but was passed to daichi instead, you missed the part he crossed the 10ft line when he jumped, so he wasnt allowed because he was at the backrow since he served 😃
I love the “antagonist” music themes. Oikawa with his brass group. Mad Dog with his manic trumpet. Tendou with his percussion and male chorus. The Miya twins with their saxophone. Just so cool.
This second half of the season is just beautiful, lots of in depth dives into the plays and decision making, great backstories and insane gameplay. Definitely my favourite part of Haikyuu so far and I cant wait to see your reaction to the rest of it Sarah!
Great catch on the meaning of the episode title! But also, it wasn't just about crowd rhythm but also includes the timing the opponent serves the ball relative to the whistle. For example, Suna served right on the referee's whistle, and Daichi was like "right on the whistle?!" But yeah hahaha Great reaction as always! I'm ready to watch you tear up (maybe?) in some moments in the future 🤣
I'm so excited for you to see this match 🥰even if I know everything that happens because heavens know how many times I've watched I still get excited by it! and I'm so happy I get to experience it again but with you
I always mention this, but Haikyu is such a great show to see reacts of. You see the person's reaction to some new interaction, or play and you know what will happen later (no spoilers but there were at least a couple of comments close to the end of the episode that reminded me of future episodes). I can't wait to see more reactions up to the end of the season. Keep it up!
If Sarah is also interested in comics, I highly recommend reading haikyuu's comics. This season of anime has a few imperfections, but the manga is pretty amazing.
I’ve seen a lot of reactors, but everytime I see professional volleyball player reactors, they never give a negative reaction to inarizaki’s cheer squad so I think its common in professional plays?
I love this show so much! The way they just build on more and more things each season is amazing. Spoilers--------------------- That little conversation between the random guy and girl was much more important than we realize the first time hearing it. .
When I played basketball it was the most up close and personal fans would get physically and verbally and I honestly loved the negative noise and clatter (as long as we had a few fans that were also cheering us on)
the best thing for me is whenever i forgot what day it is, then i open this app after my class just to realize youve uploaded a new ep of haikyuu reaction lol it literally made my day so much better!! im soooo excited for you to watch this match!!
absolutely loved your commentary and little comments throughout this whole video omg. it's always so cool hearing/watching people pick up on and discuss all the little aspects of the match outside of the game itself (the crowd cheers/chants, the accelerating tempo claps, the serve timing tactics, etc.) and hearing how you've experienced them yourself! and hearing how excited you were following the twins' quick at the end... when people say this is the best match of the show, it's for very good reasons!!! WE CANNOT WAIT
I cant even explain how much I LOVE your reaction to this game!! 😭❤️❤️ your mention and appreciation of the various plays done in this game is just so on point. I'm so glad you're happy the other team is good!! It shows how hyped up you are. I really really enjoyed your commentary (both professional and personal)
Inarizaki definitely doesn't make a very likeable first impression in the last episode, but we definitely see little tidbits of them being more likeable goobers in this second episode of the match I really love this team and I'm excited to watch them grow on you too
it's slightly off topic but I actually know someone irl with Bokuto's personality, and unless their boyfriend manages them and predicts their moods like Akaashi does, this person becomes nearly insufferable. but it's funny how before meeting them I didn't think Bokuto's mood swings were a problem, I just thought they were amusing
This positon..This timing..This angle! It's Perfect... when you realise both Tobio and the twins said the same thing.... Tobio in S1 and the twins in season 4
@16:04 Also, when you do a quick serve initially followed by a long waited serve, you can really catch a team kinda almost stiffening their muscles too much because they originally were waiting for that potential quick serve again, just to be put in their ready stance longer then they had originally thought.
Because of the delay between seasons 3 and 4, I had seen the first 3 seasons several times before this one when it aired. And because of that, right when I saw Tsumu "This position" after The Destroyer played in the background, my heart skipped a beat, lmao And then Miya Atsumu's OST kicked in and, wew
An irl Japanese high school volleyball club known for its superb cheering section, Narashino High, actually gets a lot of compliments even from their opponents' cheer sections. There are a lot of ppl who have talked abt being there to cheer for Narashino's opponents but being in awe at how disciplined, coordinated, and well-choreographed the opposing cheer section is, to the point where they can take attention from the matches. Also, they don't seem to boo their opponents, so that's a big difference
@@SarahPavanVolleyball absoloutely. when sarah smiles, i smile and when sarah cries, I'm already crying haha But i can tell, there are at least 2 episodes left, more touching and emotional!
8:04 thats the top 3 ace during the summer inter high. Just like ushiwaka and sakusa. Their team got into the semi final during the last inter high. Inarizaki beat them last time. So he is here to scout
The Miya twins' theme is so good and it's so infuriating that it plays every time they do something cool. Is so effective in making you at least admire them.
Awww, sarah you are near to the end of season4 .. 😢😢 ... Watching your video react feels like i am also watching an on-going anime. Btw, your intro just reminds me of hinata's vball journey in haikyuu 😅
Found it really funny when Elf reacted to Hinata's foot receive like he effin hated it. It's obvious that Hoshiumi is above Hinata in Spiking prowess and jump blocking but Hinata got him outclassed in speed and intincts(and his developed game IQ). They're both skilled in the techniques in their respective positions so Hoshiumi just can't brush Hinata off and he hates it so much lol.
Nah I think it's more that Hoshiumi is just irritated that Hinata got saved on a lucky foot receive like that despite being in a perfect position to receive that.
I love the counting step to figure out what serve he’s going to do. In football we would do this if a lineman was like 1/4 to 1/2 step back from his normal Position normally means the lineman is pulling. (If you know what my nerd talk mean) lol
Especially when he made a comment about Hinata's on court presence- Bokuto knows very well how great Kageyama's decision making was, but this wouldn't work if Hinata wasn't a convincing attacker. Bokuto wants to give him his props too
I have a feeling that this is about to be the greatest Haikyuu match ever!!
That is correct! Loved this match, although the animation quality was horrible in certain episodes

Wasn't he basically said as NR.1 with Sakusa being 2 and Ushijima 3, however his team isn't that good compared to the teams of the other top aces.
I love that Sarah is having the same feelings as Hinata for this match, he is not packing, she is not tense, she is excited! So cool!
Focusing so hard I'm gonna burst some brain cells 😂 😂
This is such a well-written match, it's going to be intense like this every episode as different players start getting featured especially from Inarizaki.
I'm so excited!!!!
a spectacular detail in the last move of the episode, is that what Atsumu says "This Position, This Timing, This Angle" is exactly the same as what Kageyama says in the first minus tempo they do in the 3v3 match in the fourth episode
Every single setters who saw kagehina’s quick for the first time said that it was impossible to copy but atsumu is a different breed😂😂
I love the kansai dialect😊 & loved Tsukishima's reaction to the booing. It's so HIM!😆
Since there werent any really wonky subs this ep, just gonna leave my personal opinion about 1 that I've seen brought up by others before:
29:58 「攻めるタイミングは逃したらアカンよなぁ?」→ "We can't miss a chance to score.
Top 3 is Sakusa, Ushiwaka and Kiryuu and
4th is Bokuto
5th is Aran(in anime they didn't clearly mentioned but in manga he is in top 5)
I feel like this match is insane for people who are as good as you are in volleyball sarah. The level of play is so high in this one, there is a lot to appreciate for people who know their stuff about volleyball. and it's crazy that EVERYBODY who saw the quick said that they shouldn't try to copy it because only these two can do it. And here comes miya and does it first try. what a G
11:02 "You can boo my crappy serve all you want..." :"D Saltishima at it's finest.
Welcome to the greatness that is Atsumu and Inarizaki in general✨🤌🏼
Gotta be honest, this game was real conflicting for me to watch because I, of course, wanted Karasuno to win but at the same time I didn't want Inarizaki to lose🥲
They are so good and such a breath of fresh air and have some of my favourite characters on their team, so I couldn't help rooting for them too😂
Atsumu is probably my favourite character in this series and (in my opinion, everyone is very welcome to have their own opinion☺️) the best setter out of the big 3 (Kags, Oikawa and Atsumu) because he is basically the perfect balance of the other two.
They have their quirks but they are all great☺️
In manga they definitely stated that he's a genius. Only "geniuses" can pull of Hinata's weird quick
It's because Atsumu has this hunger for more and more and he just doesn't stop, he's a genius like Kageyama and his team sometimes can't keep it up with him, his best partner is indeed his twin ;)
i love this match, its like 4 chess games going on at once
I'm not gonna make it through.
Its going to be so fun watching Sarah over the course of this match!
I don't think I'm ready for it.
For example, Suna served right on the referee's whistle, and Daichi was like "right on the whistle?!"
But yeah hahaha Great reaction as always! I'm ready to watch you tear up (maybe?) in some moments in the future 🤣
I'm so excited for you to see this match 🥰even if I know everything that happens because heavens know how many times I've watched I still get excited by it! and I'm so happy I get to experience it again but with you
🥰 💕
I always mention this, but Haikyu is such a great show to see reacts of. You see the person's reaction to some new interaction, or play and you know what will happen later (no spoilers but there were at least a couple of comments close to the end of the episode that reminded me of future episodes).
I can't wait to see more reactions up to the end of the season. Keep it up!
Finally haikyuu again from you... Tysm love your reaction
This is easily the best match of the entire series IMO.
I love this show so much! The way they just build on more and more things each season is amazing.
Spoilers---------------------
That little conversation between the random guy and girl was much more important than we realize the first time hearing it. .
A whole video about analyzing an opponent's footage before a match and the data involved would be amazing!
I love when she gets ahead of the plot.
When I played basketball it was the most up close and personal fans would get physically and verbally and I honestly loved the negative noise and clatter (as long as we had a few fans that were also cheering us on)
Suna (Inarizaki MB) is one of my favorite opponents. His relationship with and commentary about his teammates is 😂.
the best thing for me is whenever i forgot what day it is, then i open this app after my class just to realize youve uploaded a new ep of haikyuu reaction lol it literally made my day so much better!! im soooo excited for you to watch this match!!
absolutely loved your commentary and little comments throughout this whole video omg. it's always so cool hearing/watching people pick up on and discuss all the little aspects of the match outside of the game itself (the crowd cheers/chants, the accelerating tempo claps, the serve timing tactics, etc.) and hearing how you've experienced them yourself! and hearing how excited you were following the twins' quick at the end... when people say this is the best match of the show, it's for very good reasons!!! WE CANNOT WAIT
8:09 "who is that?" idk if it'll be animated, but just u wait that guy is a machine
Sarah: "I am going to talk a little bit about volleyball here"
Me: Yes please!
I cant even explain how much I LOVE your reaction to this game!! 😭❤️❤️
your mention and appreciation of the various plays done in this game is just so on point. I'm so glad you're happy the other team is good!! It shows how hyped up you are. I really really enjoyed your commentary (both professional and personal)
Inarizaki definitely doesn't make a very likeable first impression in the last episode, but we definitely see little tidbits of them being more likeable goobers in this second episode of the match
I really love this team and I'm excited to watch them grow on you too
This is the hype and I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT.
it's slightly off topic but I actually know someone irl with Bokuto's personality, and unless their boyfriend manages them and predicts their moods like Akaashi does, this person becomes nearly insufferable. but it's funny how before meeting them I didn't think Bokuto's mood swings were a problem, I just thought they were amusing
I was yelling "this is going to be SO GOOD" with you the second time 😂😂😂
Seeing sarah so excited about the match is so fun, this match is soooooooo good
This positon..This timing..This angle! It's Perfect... when you realise both Tobio and the twins said the same thing.... Tobio in S1 and the twins in season 4
I love how Furudate reveals some characters you don't know the name of yet. I really just wish Kiryuu will actually get a spotlight and not get cut...
The Miya OST is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, of the series. It's so good!
Amazing reaction!! 🔥👍
"Who is that guy? "
That's Wakatsu, one of the top 3 aces, other two are Ushijima and Sakusa!
@16:04 Also, when you do a quick serve initially followed by a long waited serve, you can really catch a team kinda almost stiffening their muscles too much because they originally were waiting for that potential quick serve again, just to be put in their ready stance longer then they had originally thought.
The oppositions band major lives in my head rent free
Because of the delay between seasons 3 and 4, I had seen the first 3 seasons several times before this one when it aired. And because of that, right when I saw Tsumu "This position" after The Destroyer played in the background, my heart skipped a beat, lmao
And then Miya Atsumu's OST kicked in and, wew
An irl Japanese high school volleyball club known for its superb cheering section, Narashino High, actually gets a lot of compliments even from their opponents' cheer sections. There are a lot of ppl who have talked abt being there to cheer for Narashino's opponents but being in awe at how disciplined, coordinated, and well-choreographed the opposing cheer section is, to the point where they can take attention from the matches. Also, they don't seem to boo their opponents, so that's a big difference
Sarah: I'm not cheering for them tho, do not get confuse
Me: Okay, sure.. 😏😏
I can't wait for the day when you finally watch S4E16.
that's one of my favorite episode of entire HAIKYUU show.
Did it live up to your expectations??
@@SarahPavanVolleyball absoloutely. when sarah smiles, i smile
and when sarah cries, I'm already crying haha
But i can tell, there are at least 2 episodes left,
more touching and emotional!
in the past when you asked if characters were based off of real people alot of fans think ojiro aran is based off of wilfredo leon
I really wanted to get to this chapter and to this part of the end of the episode to see your reaction, because it's very good for everyone
yasss finally!!! ive been waiting for you react this series especially to this game! so excited for the next episodes! 👍💯
this is my favourite episode hands down
Great resction as always. Your reaction always gives me a big joy. Thank you🌹
8:12 Figured you would ask that. That guy is the 3rd top 3 spiker, Kiryu, along with Ushiwaka and Sakusa.
My Fridays always start great because of you, Sarah!
I absolutely love this match! This match made me start reading the manga
8:04 thats the top 3 ace during the summer inter high. Just like ushiwaka and sakusa. Their team got into the semi final during the last inter high. Inarizaki beat them last time. So he is here to scout
I think that guy in 8:10 is one of the top 3 ace, together with sakusa and ushijima.
I think that the also fact of the title of the episode is "rythm" is because the twins copies the speed (rythm) of Hinata's and Kageyama's quick play
The Miya twins' theme is so good and it's so infuriating that it plays every time they do something cool. Is so effective in making you at least admire them.
Two surprise favorite characters have entered the arena: Suguru and Mika!
Fantastic reaction as always
i vividly remember that this specific episode had me annoyed to the MAX with inarizaki 😭 i kept yelling at their fans to shut up
bahaha I can definitely sympathize with Karasuno during this episode. Fans like that are the WORST!
Awww, sarah you are near to the end of season4 .. 😢😢 ...
Watching your video react feels like i am also watching an on-going anime.
Btw, your intro just reminds me of hinata's vball journey in haikyuu 😅
Please pay attention to the Japan national coach's comments on Miyas doing the freak quick and what that means. it's amazing!
In football we would do this if a lineman was like 1/4 to 1/2 step back from his normal
Position normally means the lineman is pulling. (If you know what my nerd talk mean) lol
8:07 it's kiryuu who's in top 3 spikers alongside Sakusa and and Ushiwaka
They ended up as finalist in the previous nationals, inarizaki is that good
"This is going to be so good"
Yes.
I love the videos like always
8:10
Kiryu, one of the country's top 3 hitters besides Ushijima and Sakusa
The hate for Bokuto hurts 💔🥺 He is cheering for his disciple
28:15 it’s so funny that she says this on episode 14. This match is so good
Sarah really hates Bokuto's personality. LOL
Especially when he made a comment about Hinata's on court presence- Bokuto knows very well how great Kageyama's decision making was, but this wouldn't work if Hinata wasn't a convincing attacker. Bokuto wants to give him his props too
I think his often childish attitude might make ppl think he's dumb, but he's a real student of the game
I knowwwwwww!!! I really struggle with him. I'M SORRY!!
This is the best match in Haikyuu!!!
