Yea the game is where you learn tactics how to build companions to become a governor and all the other stuff then you mod once you got that down unless you just cheese the meta or scumsave
Does anybody know if there are mods like: 1. Auto upgrading troops 2. Mod that recruits prisoners in castle/city? Because through the campaign, upgrading troops becomes less and less exciting and when you put someone in prison, they just sit there and sit there, wait to be released by the enemy once the city falls, why is that option even there, when it doesn't benefit you in any way?
I think it's sad that things that should be in the game aren't there and the only thing that makes Warband different from Bannerlord is probably the graphics and the map. Things like diplomacy, attacking more than one person or placing buildings in the villages/cities should be in the game from the beginning.
A lot of the “added” stuff actually takes away as-well. The levelling system, the story and forced clan stuff really takes away from the original story-writing element of warband. And Jesus Christ, how did the 4 polygon mesh + photo texture faces of warband, have more variance than bannerlord. They even managed to make the women more samey!
Actually i dont think so. Because MODDERS design the game by requests. So, players are playing the game how they want to play. with implementing mods. It makes the game longterm. I love mods, changing game features by your style. Actual game is not that bad too. Probably developers didnt implement everything because modders can make better with spesific requests.
idk why people praise RBM so much, i find it has a few positives but mostly ruins the balance of the game making entire weapon groups kind of useless same with troops. Although some of it is kind of ish realistic, it doesn't seem to take into account the fact that realism doesn't work in bannerlord that much combat wise because combat is missing a huge amount of actions that would make "realism" even close to balanced, yes a sword swung at a plated knight would be kind of useless but you can't exactly choke up on the blade and go for gaps in the armor can you?
ok I really like bannerlord, it is fun to be a commander whilst also fighting, I like the notion of having all these options, you can marry, you can conquer, you can trade, you can have kids but it's all a bit underwhelming since they didn't really do that much since warband, let's be real the cities are not fun to run trough, the character models were ok for the time in which warband was released, the bannerlord ones don't match up with those of games that are this popular. the missions that were added are not that fun, both the repetetive ones and the whole dragon banner thing, it's just not worth it the game has such a great concept but it could be so much better,
One of the most glaring omissions I noticed from earlier M&B was assigning troop groups to command groups. Like how to make a new group out of only recruits so that they can charge looters for XP while the rest of the army stays back. Doing this implicitly with filters and sliders and hope that your companions aren't thrown into the mix seems beta-release quality and I'm surprised that it isn't implemented in the base game as well as among the first things a modder would fix.
If anyone knows about a mod that solves this issue by now, please let us know. Being unable to sort control groups by the actual unit type, as opposed to just melee, archer and mounted melee/archer, is annoying as hell. Having to meticulously move the slider for various infantry groups to sort out the heavy armored or shielded infantry from the chaff recruits gets very annoying after having done it a few dozen times.
This is a really nice mod list, just what i need. But i have a problem with the Harmony mod for 1.0.2. I just want to ask, how can you play these mods with using the latest Harmony? Because it crashes when i play with Harmony. I really need help.
Also Warband had an achievement which triggered when you played the game with even one Mod installed. It kind of sucks that Bannerlord discourages this, and Achievement unlocker mod seems to not be working for a lot of people now as well.

A quick question for whomever might know. Would the five recommended mods here work with Banner Kings? Or would there be some cross-over when it comes to features?
Great video! 'Detailed character creation' is essential imo. You can change everything about the NPCs so when the game makes the decision to give your sturgian child an afro or change the high level armor you gave your companion when you make them a vassal you can change it!
These seem awesome! Been looking for some other medieval style games but now that mods are so easy to use I might be content just reinstalling bannerlord for some new experiences:)
Very good video highlighted some good mods. As a casual gamer I find the workshop in steam intimidating as its hard to tell if a mod is actually worth spending my time on. Thank you very much.
Hi mate 😃 I've used a lot of mods on various games before, but so far, I haven't tried any on Bannerlord - just wondering if the ones that you've featured here can be added to an existing campaign play through save, or would I have to start a new one from scratch? 🤔 Also, do these mods disable Steam achievements? I don't particularly care about this, as I've never tried to '100%' any game ever, apart from GTA5 years back - and even then, I didn't bother after a while 😅 I mainly concentrate on completing main storylines and side quests etc, but was just curious 🤔 Best wishes to your channel from Liverpool 🙂
Hello, Last night I installed the first two mods you recommend. I did this through steam. Apparently by doing this, it automatically installs whatever supportive mods I need to operate these. But nothing happened. Can you explain how I confirm that the mods are in fact installed. Also, how to find a control page somewhere in the game or somewhere that allows me to set the load order of the mods? Apparently that can be an issue. Anyhow, you did a great job with your information and video, I just think I’m not Skippy enough to make it all happen, as simply as it is for others. Thank you
