When a trailer makes you cry of nostalgia. This game is perfect in every aspect. There is some magic that you cannot find in any other game. A game experience like no other, beautifully drawn, with an amazing story. This game will touch you deep inside your heart.

@@pinchwich4487 absolutely. There’s plenty of post game content and quests to do that cannot be done without beating the game.
So hyped for this to come back to the switch.

I still have my PS3 with this game on it and plan on getting it on the Switch so I can pester my friends with it
I got the remastered edition for the PS4. It's so gorgeous!
I was kinda disappointed that it wasn't the same as the DS version lol

The cutscenes in this game are actually all animated by Studio Ghibli already. It's awesome. And the whole game is scored by Joe Hisaishi, the composer for basically every Ghibli movie out there.
This game was one of a kind, it's beautiful in a way. The sequel looks very promising but I don't know if it will be as good as this game.

Decent is the best word for it. Played through both of them, but the first one in just a masterpiece. Also studio Ghibli wasn't involved in the sequel and it showed.

Ninokuni is a special game, it has made me feel things that i never thought i would feel from a game. i love it, i hope that it’ll keep on making games or movies related to it

This is the most beautiful masterpiece ever created, and shall soon be in my grasp: the combination of miazaki's priceless art style, and unique creations, all put into one amazing ds game... I have no words to express the feeling I have right now... From a faithful fan since the original "Totoro" film, to the newest creations, I want to say thank you to Studio Ghibli, keep making life wonderful!

The DS version came out about a year and a half ago in Japan. Currently, there are no plans for an english release of the DS version due to the necessary of a physical book.
I can't wait! I loved Ninokuni on the DS, so I'm excited for it on PS3!

To answer some questions the english version is going to be released on January 22. Its not coming out for xbox 360 because japanese developed games do not sell well on the 360 which has been proven in the sales of these types of games that had come out on the 360 it will be very rare to see any other Japanese developed game to release ob the 360
i am an xbox360 owner too, but i bought a ps3 for this, uncharted, heavy rain, Metal Gear 4, The last of us, Beyond: two souls, The last guardian... I had to admit they have plenty of great titles
I wish they brought the DS version outside of Japan. But with a company as awesome as Level 5, you take what you can get.

Actually, it's mornstar, it's a spell you get just before the boss fight with shadar. It is also the wand you se to kill shadar.

Been checking this game out for a while hoping for a eu/na version. And here it effin is! Now I have to wait till 2013, sucks but will be worth the wait!
First Witcher 2 (in specific areas), then Dark Souls, Tales of Graces and Now Ni No Kuni. Namco Bandai is publishing all the greatest rpg's of this generation.

This. Although if you speak Spanish, Mexican Spanish is incredible too. The Dragon Ball & Saint Seiya Spanish voice acting is considered the best, even better than it's original Japanese version.

Aww, I can't help but compare this to Wind Waker, I like to see that Studio Ghibli is creating the anime style from all of their timeless movies in a video game form. This is a nice set back from all the M rated games : )

The plot is simply to big to shove into a movie. And a lot of money would go into it as well.
It would of been cool if they would of made a action movie ni no kuni the movie.
Tales of Vesperia, Tales of the Abyss, Final Fantasy XII (I like it), Pandora's Tower (Europe/Australia only so far), Persona 3 and 4, Catherine, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Xenoblade Chronicles and Lost Odyssey (the game makes you love the characters). Those are the top ten I can think of at the moment.

Yeah, I own the DS version also, but I never got around in finishing it due to the language barrier. Having to look through the book all the time was pretty cool, but it was time consuming.

Oliver's accent is American... not too clear from this trailer but other clips I've seen make it abundantly clear. It's odd actually, because his mum's voice IS a UK accent. Drippy/Shizuku has a Welsh accent of all things... and is really funny.
