While Catastroceros has better stats, Demoliceros has faster cooldowns and also additional 'Slash and Burn' which deals fire damage based on his attack power. This allowed him to circle through 3 damaging tricks without having to wait for cooldowns when fighting bosses, especially useful during Guardian of the Worlds farming. Also, give both Evil Idler and Bone Baron Leech and you won't ever need to bother about healing them again. At max level, they heal for 200+ per leech. Triumphants are beast tanks with decent damage. They can face-tank even the strongest magical attack 'Great Divide' with minimal damage. Acee, Greater Naiad and Turban Legends has the highest magic attack, exceeding 500 magic attack points and with useful spells. But AI still only prefers using melee attackers. Madcap is the only exception as 'Towering Inferno' gets used a lot and deals over 600 damage. Making it the 2nd strongest magical trick after 'Parp'. Also, contrary to popular beliefs that Nightcap has better stats than Madcap, that isn't true. I have brought up 3 different Napcaps of the same initial stats, all max leveled before metamophosis. My first Madcap has significantly more overall stats than the other 2. My 2nd Madcap has around 58 less stats while my Nightcap has 50 less. It is all RNG. Good question! Drops to metamorphose familiars into their second form can be found around the world or dropped/stolen from creatures. To metamorph familiars into their final forms you can alchemise Jumbo Drops in the game by mixing together the corresponding crystals and drops based on the familiars sign. For example 1x Moondrop + 3x Moon Crystals = 1x Jumbo Moon Drop for a Moon-sign familiar :) Hope this helps!
You can tame the Dinoceros familiar once you get Tengri and can reach the Genie's Footsteps in the Shimmering Sands area. The Earsplitter ability is gained at level 7 of his second form Destroceros :)
Taming familiars is based on a percentage chance. You just have to beat them in battle and tame them when hearts appear around them. There is no way to increase the chance of taming a familiar, you just have to keep trying :)

In your experience better tokotocold or docotoko?
I would choose the Docotoko because it has the 'Upsy Daisy' trick that can restore party members consciousness
Lovely guide! And I had a question, I got the red dinoceros (Demolicero) in the ivory tower and I was wondering if I can use that in the tower and I would still get the S rank or do I have to get dinoceros?
I've always used the Catastroceros but I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to get S rank in the Solosseum Series using the Demoliceros. He still has strong physical attack, high defence, and great tricks like Earsplitter :)
The best ones were only in the Japanese PS3 version you can only play them on the PS3 version not PS4 Japanese version kind of makes me upset
Which one are you referring to? The remastered version contains every single familiar, even the ones that were pre-order exclusive on the PS3. (You get free tickets, which you can redeem at Solomon)
@@Johnny_nzt I wish I can tell you them but their names are in Japanese Oliver has it on the PS3 version only I’m upset the Japanese PS4 doesn’t have them I guess that’s why it’s got a different name all in one if you don’t own that version then you won’t get them but they are exclusive to the Japanese PS3 version only
@@Johnny_nzt well I found the trailer for it all in one edition just go search it on UA-cam you’ll see the 3 best ones one is pink one looks like a rabbit one is wearing a witches hat this trailer is also available to watch on PS3 in the Japanese PS3 PSN store once you find the game you can download the trailer and download it to your console or usb the names are in Japanese so there is no way I can give you the names
@@Johnny_nzt if you really want them that bad go buy the Japanese PS3 all in one on ebay I’m sure the price doesn’t cost a lot anymore
I know what your talking about Dina exclusives do suck sometimes these should of been carried to PS4 but didn’t I wasted my money in the trash
Can u get the griffy and the draggy on nintendo switch?
I think so 🤔 I only have the PS4/Xbox versions so I'm not sure. The switch version looks like its a direct port of the remaster but the best way to tell would be to check if familiar tickets are in the bottomless bag in the switch version. If so, then yes 😁
Does anyone know how to make stones to get them to Metamorphabel ?
I’ve tried to mix and match stones at the Cauldron
But have fail
Or is there a place in the game to buy
Thank you
P.s what a beautiful game 🥺🙏🏽
Good question! Drops to metamorphose familiars into their second form can be found around the world or dropped/stolen from creatures. To metamorph familiars into their final forms you can alchemise Jumbo Drops in the game by mixing together the corresponding crystals and drops based on the familiars sign. For example 1x Moondrop + 3x Moon Crystals = 1x Jumbo Moon Drop for a Moon-sign familiar :) Hope this helps!
How do you get the earsplitter one?
You can tame the Dinoceros familiar once you get Tengri and can reach the Genie's Footsteps in the Shimmering Sands area. The Earsplitter ability is gained at level 7 of his second form Destroceros :)
@@Amalgamingle Ty i just got tengri aswell so this will help :]
Which is the best way to taming them?
Taming familiars is based on a percentage chance. You just have to beat them in battle and tame them when hearts appear around them. There is no way to increase the chance of taming a familiar, you just have to keep trying :)
I'm the best familiar...
I didnt like any of the "mons".... Uggly xD So I didnt play the whole game xD Many just looked like "blobs" or oddly colored..... Grafics and charcter design is important to me T.T
I usualy like ghibli style but not in a monster taming game xD The next game was a fave!!
That game looks like is Ghibli style
This is supposed to be a video of THE BEST familiars yet you only named 2 somewhat good ones you missing a lot
There's a lot of familiars I wanted to include but I wanted to keep the offering diverse (1x healer, 1x tank etc) and I didn't want the video to be too long :)
@@Amalgamingle please do another one expanded. There's really a lot of samiliars and deep dive would be appreciated
@@L4ch74n I was planning on doing other videos that go into more detail :)
@@Amalgamingle ohhh Okk I enjoyed the videos anyway keep it up!
It's pronounced Toe Koe not taco.
It's called an accent.
It's Mite, not Mi-tee. It's extremely obvious, almost all of the games creative sense is based on puns. The pun is might. The genus is Milite, same pronunciation. Even the possible 4 default names include Mitey, which is not Mite. Finally, it's a very poor familiar even mid game
Can I watch your video? You clearly know MUCH more about this game than me and I look forward to hearing how you pronounce things :)
mite pronounced MIGHT
I know but for some reason I always say Mitey! lol I think its because Mitey is one of the default names you can give it
