    If only more of the cutscenes were of the Studio Ghibli animated variety; they definitely should have made the endgame scenes into anime at the very least.

    • @StalinBrosef
      @StalinBrosef 10 років тому +68

      I agree that they should have, but the reason Studio Ghibli only did this far was because the original Japanese DS game ended after you beat Shadar. The entire plot with Pea, the White Witch and the council of Zodiarchs was added for the PS3 version which is partly why the PS3 version came out 3 years after the DS version.
      Animating new cutscenes would have cost a lot more, on top of adding to the production time, sadly.

    I think that it's a beautiful thing that the final animated cutscene of the ENTIRE Ni No Kuni Game is on a scene of the group walking and laughing together which fades away into a lovely, sunshine-filled sky. (ALthoughit's quite ironic considering the events that follow!)

    • @PappyMandarine
      @PappyMandarine 7 років тому +9

      Events that follow are some sort of add on content. The game really ends there actually. The rest is just more material for the PS3 (the original game being on Ninentendo DS).

      Animes based on games usually suck and vice versa. Look at the Disgaea anime, Danganronpa anime, or Corpse Party for example. The games were far better and the animes sucked. The anime for Steins Gate was pretty good though but still the visual novel is arguably much better. All the little One Piece, DBZ, and Naruto games sucked too. I rather them not make an anime of this. Only reason the art style is like anime is because Studio Ghibli helped with it. I rather have a sequel than an anime of a game I already know the story to and that's exactly what we're getting

    • @pietroalessandrini

      Psychopath well this game is heavly story drivven and the various boss fights and encounters could suit nicely into an animated series. I agree with you that this kind of things usually fails but if a good writer took care of it with a big studio (even though studio ghibli never did series) it could come out pretty good. That said there will never be an anime of this game

    • @adamantgamerad6853

      I see where you are coming from but look at the ninja storm and Xenoverse series of game based on Naruto and dragon ball they were fun games that were based on anime and they don't suck. I would personally like to
      see a studio Gbihli movie based the events on Ni No Kuni or they could do a 30 episode long anime series
      Ni No Kuni.

    • @necroheartplucker
      @necroheartplucker 3 роки тому +2

      This is the problem with many Japanese games as far as I know. Some people call this "Dub-lation" where the subtitles display only what they were dubbed in English and don't give a crap about players that play in Japanese audio. The group that translated the two NNK games went absolutely liberal because the original games were "too Japanese" from what I heard. So they had to make it more westernized for western gamers...which means they literally threw away 50%(?) of audiences that play in Japanese audio. This reminds me of FF7 Remake, where Cloud shouts out "Tifa!" many times in Japanese audio but the subs say something else lol. This kind of game is niche in the west I think, so I'm rather surprised that the translations had gone liberal all sky high.

    I know that Studio Ghibli mainly did the bulk of the animation in the game but when I watched the credits I saw that OLM Inc was involved in the game. I know that Level 5 and OLM Inc have a relationship with each other being OLM Inc does Cutscenes in the games like Inazuma Eleven Danball Senki and Yokai Watch and they do the anime adaptations of them but how were they involved in this game being I thought Studio Ghibli did it mainly.
