It's usually a shocker when a main character ends up dying in any fictional media. It's even more of a shocker when they end up being dead from the start of the whole journey. The one in video games that still hits me with this brilliant twist is, of course, Ethan Winters. The fact that both 7 and 8 actually showed why Ethan didn't get bothered with losing body parts and healed because of his death and him being a molded all along was an absolute perfect twist.
@NerdSpaceGames yeah I've played through it multiple times ( still don't have every ending but recently saw that ending where it was revealed) thanks for giving it more love
That ending of Little Hope is something i didn't expect when i played it for the 1st time No Matter what ending you get, even if you got everyone except for Andrew dead, Andrew will still be revealed as Anthony Clarke who Survived the House Fire Tragedy and Shows him Walking around Little Hope all by himself just talking to himself. Apparently, Anthony has Schizophrenia and it is a serious mental health condition that affects how people think, feel and behave. It may result in a mix of hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking and behavior. Hallucinations involve seeing things or hearing voices that others can't.
It's really not, it's a MASSIVE cop out that pretty much rendered the entire game's events completely pointless, Schizophrenia or not This alone is the reason why it's the worst game of Dark Pictures Season 1
I haven't dug too deep into the Dead Space lore, but is it even confirmed that Kendra had these hallucinations? I finally played the remake a few weeks ago for the first time, but I always had the feeling that she could've just said that to nudge Isaac towards the truth the the Nicole he's been seeing throughout the game is not real, like leading him towards the realization for himself, because if she had just told him he most definitely wouldn't have believed her. As for Shattered Memories, I think I played it for a bit many years ago and it honestly wasn't that bad. A bit repetitive because you don't have combat except run, run, run and then run some more until you reach the exit, but it was definitely interesting. One of the games where I wouldn't be mad about a port for modern consoles.
I mean it's hard to make an interesting thumbnail that doesn't cover spoilers for a topic like this. I just tried to only feature games in the thumbnail that included spoilers from games more than 4 years old.
@@NerdSpaceGames I feel there's a more tact way to do this. For context, I already know about these, but I've been meaning to get my girl into RE. She's seen a little of Village. Since we live together and see the same UA-cam pages I can't have her see this and ruin that for her. That's a specific situation of course, but I feel like her there are others who might still be getting into RE who might get spoiled because of that. Not trying to nag or anything. I like your stuff.
The fact that all this time that Ethan was dead during RE7 and VILLAGE still blows my mind, a literal dead man walking, and he didn’t even know it
lol facts! Was quite a twist tbh
It's so insane, but at least it explains why he was able to take so many hits & a big fall damage in RE8
Your Number one pick did get me i never knew that he was dead.
😭

agreed RE8's reveal of Ethan being dead was one of the most shocking twists I've ever encountered!
Doc Brown: Great Scott!
Lmao
The one for white day did suprise me love the game
Love day is incredible. Great hidden gem!!

Resident evil is one of the greatest video game series of all time

Great video
Thanks!!!
Was totally expecting Ethan's name on this list. 🎉
lmao fair plus he's in the thumbnail so it would have been clickbait if I didn't include him haha
Hey I know a smaller creator who does some resident evil gameplay his name is two tone tea
It shocked me about Ethan but when I put stuff together I'm like holy shit, it makes sense. It made me sad though 😭
facts lol
@NerdSpaceGames I blamed Mia a lot because I'm a savage 😂
Another good video, keep up the work man!
Thanks my dude! RIP your profile picture for a video topic like this haha
Thanks man, appreciate it @@NerdSpaceGames
This is a great video.
awww thank you!
Anime deaths be like:
lmfao fair
While I like your content, I'm going to have to say no to that thumbnail. Why the spoilers? Gonna have to hide this video now.

I hate the twist in little hope, in general I don't like this game so much
tbh I don't either, but it qualified for this list so here it is lol
Little Hope is definitely my least favorite of the Dark Picture games.
