Huge windows to tiny spaces is the upside to dorms! Your brick wall inexplicably makes me think of the entrance to Diagon Alley lololol. I was lucky my last year when I had floor to ceiling windows and views of the entire city from 20+ flights up
Just an idea for you girls; swap your desks around so that the drawers are in the middle and you're sitting by the edge instead. Because when/if you're both sitting at your desk at the same time, you will constantly bump elbows with each other, and it'll drive you crazy when you are trying to focus on your school work-being up in each other's faces like that . . . But other than that, it looks like an amazing time is ahead of you all. =D
Very nice room! Here's a little tip for getting up to your bed until you get a step stool if you decide to get one; just simply use your desk chair as a little boost. When I was in college, my bed was also raised high which I had to jump up in order to get to it. Luckily my desk was right next to my bed, so that's what gave me the idea. It makes things so much easier. ^w^

Most of my friends went out of state for college and we thought about starting a notebook too but we decided it was too pricy to mail it around so we ended up creating a group tumblr blog. There's ten of us and we use it like a journal posting photos of the campus and telling each other about the classes we're taking so thats another way to keep in touch! wishing you all a good year of college! :-)

The thought of sharing one toilet and one shower between six people freaks me out. At uni in the UK it's single person rooms, with ensuites. It's great but less social I guess. Enjoy uni!

This made me so nostalgic for college (yes, I'm old... I know). You got lucky, I switched where I was going halfway through the Summer before college and got stuck with the worst roommate ever. Pro tip - use those swipes! You've paid for them already as part of your meal plan and you don't want to end up at the end of the semester with too many left over. Some colleges have set amounts per semester and others per year. You lose what you don't use!

It's at the wayyy end of Newbury St. near Hynes Convention center...and it's a nice brunch cafe and a bookstore intertwined into one. Also, go check out Amorino. Best gelato/really the only gelato place in Boston :)))
Oh, memories. I remember my college dorm days. It was so much fun. I went to college in the MetroWest, and YES Boston is Freeeezing. You're going to want those extra blankets.

Every time I saw the rooms I was thinking "Awe the beds are so cute and look so comfy." I think I also liked that the beds weren't on the floor and it gave some storage. Although I'm very short so I would most likely struggle trig to get on the bed.
