in the Uk people do not share rooms - like unless you're a couple and you bought it that way you're given a single.i would be freaked out if i had to share.
You don't HAVE to share. You are given the choice of singles doubles triples etc. certain schools have other options but that's the basics. Rooms are given on a first come first serve basis. Just to clarify. :)
In th uk you do have to share, but if you dont want too then you have to pay more for the room. Unless there is noone else to share you just get a room to yourself

I've never seen a dorm with a loft like that. It's very cool, I wish I had a loft to keep a separation between a living/studying area and a sleeping area.

I loved it! Well, I live in Denmark, and it's not as harsh and not as many rules as in the movie 'Wild Child' haha. But I really enjoyed a year away from home, even though I went home every other weekend.
I've got so independent and made friends for life.

I don't know where you live, but boarding school was my 10th grade.
Now I'm in high school, which is 3 years and I'm at my first year. It's a bit complicated, but my year at boarding school doesn't count for anything except I used my grades to apply to high school :-) Many boardingschools in Denmark isn't strict with the schooling, homework etc. but mine was!! And I liked it, I got higher grades and learned a lot, got more self-confident, especially with exams. Is there more you want to know sweety? xx

College in England is different in the USA
College (uk) is high school (in USA)
Uni (uk) is college (USA )
Melissa Bonilla College and uni is pretty interchangeable from where i am in the uk. What you might be referring to as college in the uk is actually sixth form. We do have dorms in uni, though they are 98% singles. Ask most people on the street what college they go to or went to and they'll probably know your talking about uni, but that might just be from where i am.
Melissa Bonilla if shes from England im pretty sure she knows the system and was referring to uni as college to stop any confusion from us readers.And in the Uk (where i'm from) i would refer to "college" as sixth form
