Honestly, Warne could still play test cricket. He could field in the slips, bat 11, and still takes 5wickets for fun.
I doubt it. 25 overs at his age would break him. He's not the marathon runner type of cricketer, is he?
His body has bowled more deliveries than many international bowlers combined. Leg spin bowling isn't exactly strenuous for somebody who made a living from plying this trade. But I agree that it will not be as easy as it once was for him.
yeleminpino mate don't know what bowling you were watching, but it was poor short bowling I could slap him around with one hand.
I watched Warne bowling in the nets to the Australians last year during the test series against South Africa... I'm not referring to this video.
He's bowling to some muppet, obviously he wouldn't try mate.
yeleminpino u know that sachin tendulkar is the best batsmen
Is it just me or does the batsman sound a bit drunk?!😂😂
Saam Alam he might be english
Lol
He got a lisp
R3ckless Emper0r He is an Englishman.
Probably Irish
I don’t think there has ever been a master slow bowler more willing to teach (and expose) his craft and secrets than Shane Warne. Without doubt, the greatest bowler in the history of the game.
Yes! I was really surprised at how much he did teach people and give away his signs of what he was going to do. Imparting that knowledge takes a very generous spirit 💖
Was harry potter batting?
rishikesh P.J More like a James Potter. Harry was short ahhha
I think so
Hi Harry
Ha
James potter
Looking at how hopeless he looks facing spin bowling, we can say he was English.
but not "South African" English...
Lalit Gupta there are plenty of Indians who don't play cricket
Lalit Gupta He works for the Guardian. Of course he's hopeless.
Lalit Gupta how dear you
Lalit Gupta He obviously isn't a cricketer lol. If you think the English can't play, remember the 180 runs.
Rest in peace ☮️ warne a legend
💔💔💔💔
We never thought this will happen one day
Warne is still our favourite player of all time!
I have subscribed to your channel!!!
Good job with your channel

@J G shush
@J G ah yes there's only 196 countries and man says 240 countries
The best thing about Warnie was he explained exactly what he did and how he did it on tv in every tour he went on. Told the entire opposition how to pick him. Then got em anyway.
How cool is that 😎
@@katenason6704 I remember him explaining how he set people up. Like if he was planning to come around the wicket he’d start bowling from a wider spot over the wicket so it’s a sharper change of angle. He just wanted all us kids who wanted to be like Shane to at least have some of the know how so we could practice and learn it. Never mattered where he was. He’d also talk about this new ball he was working on and gonna do this tour that never existed hahah. What a legend.
@@troystaunton254 his turn is insane
That dude looks like a hybrid of Steve Smith and Harry potter
man that's something that keeps on making me laugh! lol
Yea, the guy looked somewhat like Daniel Radcliffe!!!
Steve Smith is a way better batsman though, 2 ashes 100 in only the first test
"your middle name is Keith"😂😂😂😂
#banter
Rizwan Wahhab it wasn't a bad sledge to be fair😂
And saying I bet you lost loadsa money at poker was pretty funny.
Rizwan Wahhab didn't get it? what does it mean
2:09 for keith
My middle name actually is Keith, after my grandad. I’m actually pretty proud of it because my grandad is basically my hero.
What a legend, it doesn't feel like he's gone.
That poker line hit him hard lowkey 😂
he went straight for his father, warne wasn't expecting that.
and he picked the leg spinner the next ball.

Batsman or Bowler?
TopTrendingOnYT 😂abee pagal hai kya
I grew up with Cricket, at school I was captain of under elevens and later twelves. I was one of the best spin bowlers in my school and I always bowled 3; Leg Spin, Back spin and the Googly. Shane Warne was my childhood idol and always will be the best. Shane, a true gentleman.
The bowler of the century for me. The best pace bowler also played in the same team, Glenn Mcgrath. Wasim was more dazzling, but Mcgrath and Warne were greater bowlers for me.
Warne: did u pick that one?
Batsman: Yeah i did.
Warne: ( goes back to run-up)
Batsman: BTW how do i tell which way it'll turn?
Best Hampshire captain! Were gonna miss him! Thank you for making leg spin cool x
Playing against Warne and sharing a beer after was one of my life's highlights. Top bloke!
You did that?
@@sfullernj yep. Hope he's enjoying a few tinnies in the after life.
@@youngrichie classic mate, he will be up there having a few.
I met warnie at Sun City in South Africa what a gent and the reality is most of the South African team at the time liked him...
Legend and down to earth " Shane Warne "
i know what could get under his skin "tendulkar charging in'
Thanks
That wouldn't get under shane warne. Its a misconception that Shane warne was owned by Sachin. He was one of many subcontinent player that took him for a wide. Ranatunga was the most well known for owning him.
Warne only ever got Tendulkar out 4 times in 29 matches (Tests and ODIs) they played against each other.
In Tests Warne dismissed him 3 times in 12 matches; conversely Tendulkar made 5 centuries and averaged 60.
In ODIs he made 5 centuries at 58.7 and Wane only got him out once in 17 matches.
So it's pretty clear that Tendulkar won their rivalry.
@@aryamanprajin1502 Dude, have you ever lived through the 90s? If yes, you wouldn't make such ignorant comments.

Dear Tausif Jahangir,
You are to attend your hearing for exposing The Statue Of Secrecy on 7th February 2021. Hoping you are well, Mafalda Hopkirk
He is a sports writer. So I imagine he knows a thing or two about cricket
I think reporter is born "Artist" he chose the wrong option... he could get Oscars for his acting skillss

Two of the legendary spinners in one video...
shane warne 😍
and
Daniel vettori 😛
I hate it when people say "face an over from Shane Warne". You don't :face" an over from Shane Warne. You hide in cowardice while he calmly takes your wicket.
It shows how tolerant warne is because butler is a bit socially awkward but he just goes with the flow
He's just being himself
No cricketer could replace Shane Warne or Glenn Mcgrath ..

Bowling Shane!!!!
That's not Shane Warne. It's some sort of Frankenstein Warne-Ken doll hybrid.
I was a spin bowler this guy was bloody awesome !!!!!!
What a great guy, absolute legend. Great sense of humour and could relate to anyone. A class act and probably the greatest cricketer
sometimes ozs confuse me..
whether to love them or hate them....

We love you KPavan
it would be my dream to bat to any international cricketers, from Aussie, Warne and McGrath.
Dream of batting against Warnie will now just remain as a dream. RIP Warnie. Bowling Shane..
He's probably thinking, who is this English Muffin?
Warne's a spin genius. It was like he could stear the ball with his mind all the way through to the batsman.
warnie let him face Brett Lee😂
yep true let him face my idol bowle
i meant bowler
great to see a legend practising.
best bowler of his generation. changed the game.
His batting style is similar to that of joe root.
Ah! Australian Sledging! Brings back fond memories.
Warnie was a great sledger 👍
But he also had beautiful manners, something not a lot of people knew
@@katenason6704 Warne was a gentleman. No question about it. It sucks that he passed away so suddenly at 52. Absolutely terrible. I wish he was still here doing his commentary on Sky Sports. I'll miss him.
Absolute brilliant spin bowler, quite possibly the best
0:30 a Legend was born
he was overacting too much
Top Gamer Deepu yes
This is what happens when you meet a legend
Great English mate
Yes true
I was also going to write this
With all due respect to the legend Shane Warne i wanted to juzt share this small note: that Shane Warne is using a white ball and wearing a white shirt which makes the ball kind of invisible because of the background and the batsman cannot judge the ball, this is why they use a red ball in test cricket, and no team wears a white dress In a ODI or T20
Renuka Parthiban mate just stop over analysing it he’s got not clue regardless and their batting the nets it doesn’t matter
You are wrong my friend,in 1989 Australia beat England in the Final! of the 50 Over World Cup in Eden Gardens India, There both wore White uniforms,& Bowled with a red Ball. you full of LIES Mate ! tell the truth ! or can`t you ! did you like the way we beat India 3-2 ! in the , one day games 2019 in India !

Every delivery from Warne during his career was an event
I'm a Brit and Shane has always coma across as a solid bloke. I confess I kinda wish he had been English, sure he feels the same...joke😜🇬🇧😊
Reporter was batting like smith😂😂
Beautiful attitude of a lovely cricket or...
Def..world best..at spin...as wasim being world best at rev.swing
now I understand why English or non subcontinent players don't play spin well
if you are from sub continent and playing cricket , you would either use your feet or your wrists. btw i would also be hopeless if i face warnie in his prime.
THATS WHY ENGLAND WENT TO SIR LANKA AND OUTPLAYED THEM AT THERE OWN GAME WHITEWASH
Let him face shoiab akhtar
The slow-medium pacer? HAHAHAHAH
He will need a box
@Mark Richardson your gay

Bro i can not believe a journalist did not get bowled vs shane warne, nice.
if you ever pick your best XI , you just can't conplete your team without warnie.
theres two automatic world 11 picks - Bradman and Warne.
He was batting just like I will bat🤣🤣🤣
Legend and a great guy
Playing a spinner is not that hard but scoring runs is hard and hitting a spinner for long shots is even harder. Especially to someone like shane warne.
Honestly spinners I could never get on. They always did me. Pace I could sort out pretty simply. But a spinner went right past me and onto the stumps.
Would have been better video if the batsmen knew batting at least a bit...
LAzY GAMING industryinZvvv
He played only one ball with confidence, even that shot could had been caught if it was played in a real match. Muttiah Muralitharan, Anil Kumble and Shane Warne, they ruled an era. RIP Shane Warne, You will be missed.
What a legend! 😂❤️
If the retirement age in cricket was 60 like government jobs, then I can see him bowling in TVs.
Great technique from the batsman. I genuinely think he could have done Warnie with a few more balls.
Legend. Great guy.
The best spinner the world of cricket has ever seen. Great sportsman
Why do we always forget about murlidharan?
he is a journalist who cares how bad he is
Ball 4 was a no ball.
nilpoint some part behind d line. yet a tough one.
Ketan Tikekar it was the sledging
1:20 Ball 2 was a No Ball.

The batsman would have been out with at least three of those balls.
That right there is called LEGEND

Best way for him to not use footwork until ball pinch on ground and after react according to spin. By default, just ready for flipper. And put your 70% weight on front leg, so that your body is automatically ready for back foot shot. But ready for flipper . Love you Warne from India.
why is daniel raddcliffe playing cricket
YOOO HARRY POTTER
I was searching for this comment

Warne:What was that that fell off?
Harry Potter:Yeah......
They should’ve used someone who can really play cricket
Was Harry Potter batting??
RIP LEGEND!!
Warne a character and great great bowler.
Few things I wanna ask this Batsman *Why the heck you have so much of shitload on your shoulders who the heck dons a helmet for a spinner ?, And that ball isn't spinning at all coz its turf and you fell as if it left you completely stunned that's quite bit of over-acting*
Helmet is for the GOpro cam ..
Dharmender Karhana He fell down after almost every ball.He is nota a fast bowler bowling toe crushers at 150 kph
Ths guy surely never faced a season ball and that is what happen when u face a pro u stupid tennis ball gully cricketers
Marg Darshak for extra safety
Marg Darshak some people grew up wearing a helmet, so spinner or not it’s more comfortable for those who grew up with helmets
can shane warne dismiss virat kohli ....????????????? what do you think 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
D. B. Warne's a legend. He could dismiss anyone. Heck. He could still play test cricket, field at slips and take a fifer for fun
D. B. he can shove Virat's ass with his turners
virat is best player of leg spin .
Warne can dismiss any batsmen there is! But kohli can also smash any bowler there is! Its cricket, it works both ways.
Clash with DB daily
Ooooooooh Michael. Bless.
