2 champions, makes you realise how precious life is and for us older fans what a privilege it was to watch both these guys in their prime
I am glad there would be so much video footage of high quality for future generations to watch.
Yes I'm an order fan and that greatest sporting rivalry was precious, fun, nostalgic, nervous wreck, what not. Great days.
I am from India. Miss you Warnie!
The world is witnessing, there is no one like you yet in world cricket.
Rest in peace mate!
so many memories of these 2 competing against each other . Cricket has moved on but the magic these legends created has not been repeated since then. Miss Shane Warne and his love for the game. True Legend.
Blessed to have watched two legends in their prime against each other. Cricket is not the same without you two
So true. Well said !!!
The void left by Warnie is still felt till today, never gets easy seeing him on screen and not feel like welling up :(
Will miss both legends on the field! Stopped watching cricket after Sachin's retirement. RIP warnie. You both gave us a golden period to watch and enjoy cricket at it's purest!
It brought tears in my eyes. Still not able to believe that legend is no more. RIP Cricket.
Feels like an art movie but still enjoyed truly legends
I felt exactly the same after the last bowl four as i used to feel after real matches
Iconic camaraderie... this was emotional for me. Such heroes!
The Greats doing what they Loved.
Miss you Champ.
This generation of cricketers. Humility, greatness, camaraderie, friendship. Love them. ❤
Legend Warne.... Miss you champ😢
And this was the last time they faced each other😢.miss u warne.
I am proud ton say that I saw thwm in thwir prime .... I lived in the age when giants roamed the fields and cricket was not tainted by IPL ......
This video made me cry 😢We all are growing old 😢
I did not want this to end!
How beautiful, classy and pure this sport used to be!!
Warne Sachin , they have nothing left to give , both were legends

Miss you warnie
GO SHANE WARNE YOU CAN BOWLED THEM
GREATS OF THE GAME!
MAGIG spinner miss you
What the heck are those slow motion shots? We just need a normal one, bad editing
1 word. Peaceful.
Miss you, Warnie. You'd have absolutely loved what's just happened at Edgbaston.
Which year was this filmed?
Looks like 2011
I missed Warnie straight after Cummins hit those winning runs. Would have been great to have him in the comm box and get his insights. Legend , dearly missed .
Yeah ❤️🥺
@@fryliver4953 I think 2014 just before the MCC bicentenary match that summer. Sachin and Warne were the captains of each team
Can we take a second to thank Sky Sports for bringing this unplugged version of these legends!
Warnie we all miss you mate 😢
Tu Kyun Usko Warnie Bol Raha? Australia Se Hain Tu?🤓
Everyone says warnie not just Aussies
It just brought some tears now that I have just travelled to my ten-year-old self. Oh dear Sachin and Warnie, the biggest of thank you to you both!!!
@@Josuke217😂
Same mate, Sachin a gentle good natured bloke, elegant with the bat, beautiful to watch. Shane ever the entertainer, lived life to the fullest, a master at bowling leg spin, a master at mind games and tactics, friendly, doesn't mind having a laugh at his own or others expense, didn't take life too seriously.
same here . class oozing all over. the times that passed. the times that will never come back. tearing up here too
Nahi nahi Rona nahi mere bhai. Tujhe mein Rone nahi duga usko dhone nahi duga
😢😢
Nostalgia! Sachin vs Warne in 90’s. Fav memories from childhood!
Averages are the last thing that comes to mind with these two: it’s how they played. Classic in every sense, epitome of natural action. And that undefinable element of X. 90’s were the peak of this star v star battle
Exactly . Averages are hardly accurate parameter to assess any rivalry…
Sachin is GOAT BATTER while shane is GOAT baller❤❤
These guys have risen above statistics. Mere numbers cannot possibly capture the magic that these legends brought to them game.
@@user-by1cg2sk5q the king died of a heart attack. There is a big move for middle aged men to get heart assessed by a cardiologist.
Sachin scored well all over the world out of his comfort zone vid Richards Lara also
Literal goosebumps and a tear in the eye. Rest in peace, Warnie.
Two greatest rivals … two great friends … absolute legends … a rare thing to happen now a days
Murali, Sachin, Warne, Lara, Kallis.... Thanks for making cricket in the 1990s and 2000s extremely memorable....
Of course there were many others across all teams..
Happy to see kallis name there, greatest all- rounder ever, 45 test centuries is not a joke
@@nicksharma7859 of course even 1 century in any format isn't a joke whatsoever
@@nicksharma7859kallis is absolutely best all rounder
Sachin is absolutely best batsman of all time.. FACT
@@sunnymane5646 best or not is not the issue.. that was a magical era..
I am into my 40s but can't control tearing up. Warne what a legend. Thanks both for memories
Same pinch mate - tearing up watching this
Same here bro...
He is the only guy who isn’t lying about nostalgia seeing the legends😅
Two of the best ambassadors of the game. Such humility in both, Sachin knowing that he's a great player and can easily get more than 1 off the last ball, recognizes the greatness on the other end of Warne and very modestly saying 1 while the same happens with Warne recognizes the greatness of Sachin saying 7. Just shows two class players respecting each other's game.
Sachin always Dominate shane warne.. no disrespect but fact
Sachin struggles against Murali I don’t know why especially off spinner like pat symcox, saqlain .. he indeed dominated warne
@@ampkd2146 every other player struggled against someone.
So what? Still sachin is by far the greatest talent ever produced. The absolute GOAT
Bradman is that goat 🐐
Sachin wears helmet*
All my memories flashed ...
Goosebumps goosebumps Goosebumps
The goat batsman and bowler 🐐🐐🤩
Agreed
really ?? are you suggesting that sachin was better than bradman ?
@@russellfrancis-wl6pz Any sane cricketer would agree to that
@@Gaganchangappa sachin was average at best. He could never compete with the likes of Sir Alastair Cook, Joe Root and Keeton Jennings.
@@russellfrancis-wl6pzyes he was
The two greatest cricketing icons of their generation. And as a fan, that was my generation. God bless the pair of them.
This is what you call a legendary rivalry!! No abuse, or pushing, or taunting, just pure cricket 🏏
Kept smiling, but a tear dropped down my eye and it was all because of the admiration these guys had for each other. Sachin and Warne, the Cricket couldn’t have been so entertaining had these guys not been part of the game. Thanks for making my childhood amazing living in one of the remotest areas of the country. RIP @Shane and have a great life ahead @Sachin !!
Apart from than the battles between Sachin and Shane, we miss Warnie more because of the friendship they shared. Absolute legend gone too soon. Nostalgic!
I never realised how short Sachin was/is! Confusing and impressive at the same time given batting ability and achievements.
Bradman was also around same height as Sachin.( 5 feet and 5 inches)
90 percemt of the best batsman are short
@@abhishekbotadkarway much taller than you when he batted!
@@southpawlibranine3511 Matthew Hayden ?? Kallis??? Gayle???
@@saikatghosh9073he said best
Warnie, you'll be missed for many years to come ...RIP mate..still stings
Elite level mentality by Sachin - stay in your zone, not think about Warne and his mind games.
Something the current gen of mediocre indian cricketers should learn
True. That's why Kohli is getting out in test matches in the same way.
Wide the offstump with an out swing he is definitely going to drive and catch at 2nd or 3rd slip.
@@unknown-dudeyt he used to be soo elite, but he focuses more on his image nowadays, less on his actual game.
The best batsman i have ever seen and the best spin bowler of all time . Champions of the beautiful game . 👏
how lucky were we to get to watch these 2 kings play
The best spinner is Muralitharan
@@EM-ty8nw Complete bollocks. The 2nd biggest stain on the game (after Bodyline) was that they changed the rules to make his pie chucking legal, because he played the race card (which is in itself, a racist act). When they tested him, he didn't bowl a doosra. Every doosra he ever bowled was a throw. Take away every wicket he got from that ball, then take away every wicket he got because batters were scared of that ball. Maybe 50 test wickets tops, and they'd mostly be vs Bangladesh on pitches that looked like the surface of Mars.
Two legends right there.
One,the Eternal God.
The other was divine In his own right🇮🇳🇦🇺
Mate, if he's eternal, he cannot have a date of birth
@@imadhhisham6709 🤓
Elernal GOD ..🤣🤣then who is Jacque kallis ??
@@shehanjerome1446 He's the "Elernal" GOD😋
Eternal God??😂😂. A guy who won maybe 10 matches for his country in 20 years..just cared about run accumulation, esp on flat pitches. Failed in almost all important games (World Cup knockouts, 4th innings chases esp overseas..). And u call him God? Kohli n Rohit have won more matches for india in 5 years than this guys entire career
I don't remember when I last smiled from start to finish of a youtube video. Than you Sky. And thank you Warnie for being such a legend. RIP
That final hug enough to remember warne for Sachin’s whole life..
What a golden generation that was. Two giants of the game battling out against each other on the field. One of the greatest on field rivalry ever that was.
If you watch the ball at 4.19 at 0.25x speed you will see the side spin on the ball and how closely Sachin is watching that spin and guides it with the spin, neither overhitting nor too softly. Just loved the two masters of their craft.
missing warnie, he would've loved what happened earlier today
Two greatest player of all time. I am from Pak but Sachin not only he was a great player most probably one of the best batsman world has ever seen he was so humble and still is.
Miss u warne, having tears in my eyes..gone too soon. We all indians love u man for ur kind heart and great cricket skills...ur are the best leg spinner ever and even after 200 years people will remember you for your talent....love from india
Mouth watering battle. Warnie, the best bowler that ever bowled in a test match. What a legend! 👑
Cricket had different flavor those days, missing all these great players on ground. The enjoyment we got at that time is precious and we feel honored as your fans for life.
My heart is beating every day. How we miss Shane
i should hope your heart is beating everyday...
Ironically millions if hearts are beating less healthily every day now following cardiomyopathy
I will pray for you to stop your heartbeat one day 👍
3 to win and the bowler himself declaring it's a four. what a friendship and respect for eachother ❤
Two great legends. never step back appreciating each other. Sad we dont have one person with us today. We do miss him a lot. He will be in our hearts always ❤❤❤
Shane Warne was one of the most intelligent cricketers ever, he was always trying something different to confuse the batters
This duo has given so much pleasure to the millennials for well over 15 years. Truly miss Warnie. Legends. Can’t thank ‘em enough.
God, can't believe Shane is gone still. The greatest bowler ever. Was so lucky to see him play, though I hated how often he beat us (I'm English).
Two of the greatest of ALL TIME... privileged to watch them play all my childhood.
RIP Warne
This is why we will always love the test game . . these men were warriors in their time and understood how to distill the game to what its all about . . no media hype no nonsense no catch phrases . . just the beautiful contest between bat and ball
That's my childhood ...... Shown in 7min😢
Glad I’m not the only one who still misses Warnie. Glad there are people all around the globe who remembers him. He was so grounded he got Sachin even more fame by acknowledging he saw Sachin once in dream smashing him over in 1998. I mean who would say that for his biggest rival and that too from an Australian from an ego riding champions. I am not Australian but was saddened when he was stopped from playing 2003 World Cup, I never felt bad when Shane Warne or Steve Waugh took game away against India. I’ll never get over that Shane Warne is not in this world.
New Gen Kids Will Never Know The Emotions Connected With These Two Legends 😅 ♥️
Being a Kumble fan, I always miss to see Murali, Anil, shane.... but shane, how could you leave us forever? I am sure you are preparing a lot of leggies in heaven and will be sent to the earth soon after finishing ur diploma program
We miss you warnie😢😢 ..gone too soon 😢😢
The most amazing thing about Sachin vs Warne is the last time they faced each other in the international cricket was in 2001.
Never after that.
Not really, IPL gave them a chance to recreate magic.
And even after that, in legends league 20/20.
@@Ashutosh-lw3cn OP said international cricket. Not first class or exhibition
@@vivsha3498 oops! My mistake....Just totally ignored the "international" word.
What about 2004 (four match )test series in Ind.
Sachin played two tests and injured for two test matches.
They faced each other in late 2004 in test matches. Maybe 2001 for ODI cricket. T20 they faced each other in IPL.
What a ridiculously shot and edited video. When you slow down the balls faced and don't show them with a straight angle then it removes the realism of the contest. The realism is magical, whereas slow motion is forcing it and destroys everything. Lol
Good old times, The running from school to watch ODIs, cricket... Cricket in 90s and early 2000s was something else.. Every team had Legends... When i get Old & retired i would be just watching Sachin straight drives on loop..
RIP legend… Terribly miss those days, those rivalries.
Everyone knew warnie respected Sachin, however he's too lethal
This made my eyes wet. Years of rivalry, but mutual respect and friendship to go with that. Warnie, personalities like you are missed till eternity. And that line by sachin "closing fielders should be afraid". Call us nostalgia merchants all you want, but we have seen the best cricket ever played and the best players ever.
Two legends on the screen ❤❤❤❤❤❤
4:49 This is called real aggression not just jumping on the field, making wierd sounds and booing the opposition and their fans ...
Still can’t believe he’s gone so early. Rip legend!
Best spin bowler of my generation with the best batter of my generation. Sad that Warne left us early.
