- Don't sledge Sachin Tendulker or Brian Lara: write that down.
But others who would you let you under the skin? It's a very different story. It was never personal, though. Warne reveals the how-to of the dark arts.

Coming from an Englishman, Shane is one of the greatest cricketers ever, and a brilliant Man. Rest In Peace Shane, we miss you.
Kohli is better?
@@groovytirma2409 Not even close
But if he was playing you'd call him cheat and abuse him relentlessly against the 'spirit of the game'. Makes sense 😆
@@knottymatt As Warne is saying in this video, Nasser hated and sledged him on the field but had huge respect for him away from it and became good friends. England fans have the same attitude towards Warne as Nasser did.
Kohli on the other hand is a bhenchod on and off the cricket field. Warne is in the top 5 cricketers of all time. Kohli barely makes the top 50.
does being English make the opinion valid?
Never noticed Warnie had different coloured irises before... interesting! 🤔
We were so fortunate to have you in our lives Shane Warne. Your passing has left such a massive hole in all of our hearts.
I think of you many times a day. Rest Peacefully.
My love and thoughts go out to your family and friends. 🙏
I can't stop thinking of him as well 😢.
Yes, that's true
What a wonderful story teller. And Dad. I think we all may have taken how special he was for granted in recent years. Please keep these coming. Rip Warnie.
Can't believe this great cricketer is no longer with us
4:06 - You did, mate, you did.
I love to see these clips. But such a shame he's gone. Wow.
Many memories sitting in front of the TV as a younster in the 90s watching Warne tear through the Kiwis. I just loved watching him bowl. I could and did watched him for hours. I was glued to the TV watching the ball spin all over the place. What a man and what a team the Aussies were.
Every bit of Warne content is gold. I cant believe that we have to live in a world without Shane Warne.
I was fortunate to meet Warne not once but twice in my lifetime, and on both occasions not at cricket ground. Great bloke.
?
Even as a n Englishman , I have to say warne was my favourite cricketer of all time , when he was bowling my eyes were glued to the telly , every ball was an event , played sport how sport should be played
Lara’s mine but Shane’s in the top five cricketers of all time
Nasar hussein was not that good anyway
Thanks for the memories Warnie…gone too soon… RIP you legend
❤❤
Still can’t believe he’s no longer with us.
Absolute goat. His job to be the best dad to his kids and his passion/hobby cricket. Can’t respect this guy enough🐐
What a cricketer! What a personality!
That date at the end of the video got me teary eyed..! Miss you legend..! Just loved watching you play and in the commentary box too..! ❤
Absolute Gold from Warnie. RIP legend
Carlton & United Series 1st Final 10 Feb 1999. Only fact Warnie got wrong here was that Nasser was the captain. Stewart was England's captain throughout the series. But Warnie was captain for most of the tri-series that Aus won, including the 2 finals.
What an amazing character Shane was, he had an infectious personality, I dont think you could hate him if you tried!!! I genuinely miss his commentary, outstanding cricketer and great bloke!!!
A year down the track - I still find it hard to accept that he's gone. What a loss!!!
Still can't believe the great man's no longer with us. Amazing player and always came across as a genuinely kind person. I feel privileged that The 2005 Ashes was what really got me into cricket and I still remember being incredibly stunned when he bowled Strauss out at Edgbaston!
From an England fan- RIP Warny you legend
The Whole cricketing world still misses Warnie. A great player and a great guy
Entertain us , you did, mate, and then some !!
Bowling shane and rip 🙏.. love from down under 🏴
GOAT cricketer of all time awesome guy and sportsman, sorry hes gone.
Really enjoyed the comments about hobby and job. Interesting perspective I've never heard before.
Shane’s a lot more intelligent than people give him credit for
Unforgettable genius. A sport by heart and candid at the speeches. A beer tradition, currently denied with an insult, by McCullum, was disheartening. Game over , duel is over. A great funda. I miss you, rather we all miss you genius legend. RIP.
Our summer of cricket is about to start with Australia vs Pakistan tomorrow starting at 11. I'll miss Warnie and his tactical/strategical thinking. RIP ol mate, I miss you!
Much missed. He had so much more to give..
it's just occurred to me with Broad retiring that he took more from Warne than he did from any seam bowler (although his hero is McGrath)... the sense of theatre and the ability to work the drama and the crowd to a point where it impacts on the batter. you can totally see Warne doing the bail trick or do the exaggerated bat-downs after Bairstow's stumping. The reason why the 2005 series is the best i've ever seen? because the bowling on both sides was as good as it gets - Warne, McGrath, Lee, Jones, Harmison, Flintoff and Hoggard were all superb that series... so every run scored was an achievement.
RIP.... legend
Isn't it wonderful to hear the same story several times with just a few minutes. ya fuck knuckles !
Bugger this is unfair. Merv was right, I wanted to meet the man. Gone forever too soon.
We were lucky bunch of people who thoroughly enjoyed all time greatest leg spinner in the game of cricket🏏 ever had n ever will RIP legend 🙌
100% agree that the post game beers and banter with the opposing team should be a thing again. Test Cricket gives everyone the opportunity to be a hero, or do something that becomes an embarrassing anecdote the commentators will bring up time and time again!
I say this as an Englishman
He was the absolute greatest, and cricket and the world is so much poorer without him
An absolute legend
Still miss you Shane. You would have loved the latest 2023 Ashes, we certainly missed your analysis, punditry and commentary 🥲
Seeing this after hearing drinks were skipped at the Ashes this year...Imagine having a beer session with Shane Warne and calling it a job. 🍺 for Warne
What a legend, what a player, what a man.
RIP Mr Warne.
Love from Pakistan
Miss this legend.
Rest easy legend,if I could have one wish, you’d be English ❤️❤️❤️
It's funny that, I think if you ask every cricket loving pom that's alive today, "which non-English cricketer do you wish was English?" 99 out of 100 would probably say Shane Warne.
My reverse of that, I wish Andrew Flintoff was Aussie. Fuckin' love the bloke, an absolute character, great player and good bloke.
Miss ya Warnie ❤
There will never be Shane ever again.. ❤
He sure did entertain
One of the greatest!
Spot on mate.
I miss that man so much
RIP ❤
This man alone had beef with legends
still dont beleive hes gone there will never be another like him rip
Legend taken far too early 😥😥
Man I wish they just left Sachin and Brian alone.🤣As good as Sachin is and was Lara was my favourite batsman to watch, he was simply beautiful and brutal at the same time.
Miss you Shane
Shane Ware the King of Spin was an Entertainer!!
Ashes 2023 was not the same without Shane on commentary 😢
Warnie is true legend of the game
Australia. All. Old. Player Great. And. Harawork. Shane Warne. And. Bretli. GM fantastic. Bowlers 👍
Lets face it, as cheeky chappy and famed for his sledging as Warney was, his sledging worked because he was feared almost his entire career for his actual abulity to bowl. He walked the walk. You can sometimes get in someone's head (Broad with the replacing the bail trick) quite out the blue but Warne was able to really go in for it cause he had the record to back up his swagger. If batsmen are already scared of you, sledging is basically juat bullying. :D
Proper bloke, thanks Shane.
The term 'great' is used far too often, but Warnie was a 'True Great' .....RIP from an Englishman.
The greatest cricketer ever !
Great era of cricket the personalities and legends of the game RIP Warnie and yeh bring back the dressing room frothie 🍻
Wow talk about wise word's 👏
At least he talked .....no sandpaper required
Brilliant player
I like the point Warne makes about having drinks with your opponents after the game. I reckon he’d be disappointed with how the Ashes ended, the players not getting together in the dressing rooms afterwards. Nightclub option was BS.
The Ashes just gone was diminished by his absence - as a Pom, I hated him 1993-2009.........as a commentator and character since I venerated him.
Oz have the two GOATs... Bradman & Warne - but i think if there is a Heaven i'll only be looking to meet Warney for a beer!
The best spinner
Top man ❤
What a legend
Miss you lots, Love form Karachi Pakistan
Great sportsman
Great legends
Absolute legend
This will always be too soon.
Entertainer no doubt 😢
❤️
Entertain, eh? Warney certainly did that! Gone way too soon.....
RIP Legend 🙏🙏🙏…
The late great.
I’m an Englishman but loved the man.
A great great cricketer but a great guy off the field.
A huge miss.
I love Warnie, but he's having selective memory here. Ranatunga got under his skin and he hated Ranatunga even after they all retired.
Funny the people they realised sledging just made them better.
Soccer lost Maradona, Cricket lost Warne
I wonder what warnies feelings were about Warner and smith playing fair??.
Sledging is impotent weapon... He did not get by his skill ... Get by sledge
Legend
Aussies dont mind dishing it out...but give it back..and wow, WOW...JUST EATCH EM COMPLAIN.
I miss Shane…. He was brilliant in the commentary box 😢
Bet if someone stood up to Warne he would run a mile. Always making out he was a hard case.😂
Too sad watching this - the world of sport is poorer for his untimely passing
WARNIE WARNIE WARNIE ! NOTHING MORE NEEDS TO BE SAID ! WARNE WARNIE WARNIE !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
💙
Great player. Always wished that he was English !!
Qish this was more recent than a year ago. Rip Warne, ya rippa
Had the pleasure of watching him play on one occasion live. Peter Emburey hit him for a a six.
Make that Jon Emburey!
Such a shame he was taken too soon from "that which shall not be named".
On an unrelated note, I see the government has FINALLY released 2021 data showing a 25x increase in adverse events from a certain medical intervention starting from March 2021.
I wonder if we will see this in the media? 🤔🤔
That elephant 🐘 in the room will only get bigger with the more years that pass.
RIP Warnie
🐘🐘🐘
Well said sir it’s time to have the discussion I’m so glad I never took it
@@markdye5332 you thick crank
Amazing to see him so ill and wheezing out some of the old stories just before he succumbed.... oh yeah, looking at him he'd never been so healthy.... until he took the clot shot.... absolute travesty.
