Minecraft Dungeons has a permanent battle pass. They have at least 4 if not more now and each one is available always, you just have to purchase each one.
My guess for monetization of mobile: Teleports. You maybe get some for free each day, but can choose to buy more to speed things up. MSQ sending you all over the place? Either use porters, walk yourself or pay up.
"The binding coil" the thing is, I wonder if they'll revamp it with the new cast? It is SO jarring to watch Aliesae go from "Disney Princess" to "Disney I'm-gonna-knock-your-teeth-in-if-you-call-me-princess"
Warframe has a mobile beta on iOS and should be coming to android eventually, it's basically all low settings like the switch version. theres also a TON of smaller or older games that have had mobile ports: Balatro, Dead Cells, GTA Trilogy, Into The Breach, RollerCoaster Tycoon, Stardew Valley...... that's why im all the more excited for my Retroid Pocket 5 to ship
1.0 Fatigue was literally a stamina system. Also the trailer showed the 1.0 Ul'dah intro with Thancred and a younger F'lhaminn. Though it wasn't in the teaser trailer, Ascilia (young Minfilia) was in that specific opener cutscene.
Never tried xiv when i was in china, but wow china also didn't have sub. its buy time. I forgot the detail but lets say 15 usd give u 240 hours of playtime. Thats more than 1 month of game time for ppl that don't afk much ingame actually. Like i go in everyday just raid / pvp for 3-4 hours. so its 30*4 hours = 120 hours. So this kind of system is way better for ppl like me that only login to kill shit then logout.
As far as mobile movement goes the forgoing movement i dont think is accurate. Toram Online, Sword Art Online, and other games that are MMO's have you dodging AOE's and you still have to hit skills.
NO! NO! NO! OH DEAR TWELVE NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! If they make the Relic Weapons have a chance of being destroyed by upgrading like they do with Star Force enchanting in MapleStory, I swear to all holy things that I will rally a group to protest like the Pirate101 community did by logging in the game and summoning their Hawkules companions in protest for Chris "Hawkules" getting fired from KingsIsle for no reason only I'll be shouting in the FFXIV Chat "Fire Yoshi-P!" X( The last thing we want is for that joke that our relic having a 99.4% chance of being destroyed to be REAL. That's not funny, MrHappy. Be glad I can't find your address or I'd come over and change your name to MrSad. You don't joke about sh** like this! X(
This one is a much bigger project with a much bigger lifespan expected going in, sqaure is good with mobile games (as a company they shouldnt be shutting these down like that but it works for them) they plan for the natural life span of a game and get other mobile games out around the time they think the current ones will need to go, this will be around a while if it takes off and I'm sure they will make something to replace it once they feel it's time is up but that will likely take years with the amount of content it will be able to have and the player base it will gain
@@MurakamiTenshi the mobile version is licensed, SE is getting paid by tencent/lightspeed for the right to develop it. This wasn’t an outsourced project, it came from a proposal from lightspeed studios, who basically pay for the license of the IP to make the mobile game, while SE also gets to oversee the project AND a percentage from the game’s profits. This is literally the best case scenario, since it requires the least amount of resources from SE, while still bringing in money and selling the IP to the biggest market on mobile. That money is going to retail 14 and other SE projects the same way 14’s revenue has funded FF16 and FF7 remake series.
@@Yorikha I know you're not saying that. What I'm implying is people said the same thing about the development for ffxvi. That a new team would work on ffxvi and ffxiv wouldn't be effected. Well, we found out that was a lie at the end of Endwalker

Maybe a weird question, but might 'permanent battle pass' be sort of a parallel running track to expansion and patch releases then?
I love when Sly roasts the XIV community
Plot twist, it’s included with the ff14 sub for an additional cost like more retainers. Like an extra 5-$10 per month

It will be interesting to see how jobs like Red Mage, Reaper, Viper, and Pictomancer will eventually work.

I'm 50/50 on the Mobile....I'll still try it out but I'm not expecting something grand
Missed alot of the first part of the show live yesterday thx for quick turnaround upload 🎉🎉

@31:52 every character in FFXI had its own home
I wonder if mobile will add Queensblood to the saucer. I would love it if 14 would add it, but probably won't because of triple triad.

Remember FF Record keeper? Brave Exvius? What happened to those mobile games, Square? I highly doubt this new gimmick will last a year.

You do realize those games lasted a very long time, right?
Square didn't make this@@Thederpyguide
Yeah those games were a success and are still going strong in foreign regions lol
Waste of resources
Its made by a different company brother...
@Lemongh3 Yes, another company is going to have full autonomy over an IP that ultimately belongs to SquareEnix.. 😂
SE is paying this company to make it. Where is this money coming from? Retail FF14 ....
@@MurakamiTenshino different from the rest of SE's games there though lets face it.

Just like FFXVI halted progress and content for Endwalker. This focus on mobile will hurt/stunt the growth of current/future content for FFXIV.
I thought an outside company was doing the work
it’s being handled by an entirely different company?
"FFXVI is being handled by a different team." I haven't heard this one before. 😂
